A primarily black snaggle-toothed wolf with russet accents and the left ear dropped slightly. A single green eye, for the right is missing and the socket is swollen shut. The majority of her tail was ripped off some time ago.

A radio collar wraps around her neck suggesting her previous home, though it no longer works. A masterpiece of scarring covers her body, though it is hidden beneath thick fur and therefore only clear through touch.

Quiet and nearly brooding, Calfuray is a survivor. She fights for what she needs, and nothing more.

Intimidating appearances are often used to her advantage, for she has no issue scaring off other's when it is necessary. Companionship is pleasant, but she understands that she will live without it. She does not grow attached easily.

Luck has never been on her side. She often finds herself in unfortunate situations by chance, ending in a new scar.

A life that began oridinarily; two parents who had denned succesfully for the first time, and a small litter of healthy pups. Months passing her by, Calfuray dispersed the moment she was large enough to fend for herself.

Living well enough on her own minus the expected fights, it was thought that Calfuray would succeed. An older man took an interest in her strong build and stronger-willed personality; a pregnancy resulted from their time together, but he did not stay to take responsiblity. Four pups were born, but only one survived.

At the end of that summer she met a wolf named Dione. A beautiful snow-coated woman with plush fur that flowed elegantly. She was Calfuray's first true love, and they remained together to raise her daughter.

Come the fall Dione wished to take her leave, to find a male she could mate with and begin establishing her own pack. Calfuray, heartbroken, attempted to follow her. It was not taken well, Dione taking her right eye to send a message.

Now half-blind and wary, Calfuray wandered alone once her daughter dispersed in late fall. She found a new mate, a younger man who was eager to join her. They failed to den, remaining nomadic until her mate was killed in a border scuffle that spring.

Alone once again, Calfuray wandered further than ever before that fall. With a terrifying 'bang' sound she found her tail severely damaged. The top half later fell off.
