Appearance
Colored in monochrome, being predominately black with streaks of grey, silver and few white throughout. Her eyes are pale and piercing. The left a soft purple, the right silver, with a look to be calculating and offering sultry gaze. Tall and slender with sharp, narrow features, her movements are lithe and her posture poised. She harbors an air of dark mystery and gothic melancholy. Carries a Japanese accent. Likened to Hatsumomo of Memoirs of a Geisha.
Biography
Named Nightingale, for which her mother named her. Orphaned after just a few months, she barely remembers the face of the mother who did not recover from giving birth to her. She is then raised as Sayonakidori there after, only to reclaim her common name in adulthood. Raised among the Yoshiwara in their ways, yet ill-fated to never be one of them.
Pent with self-loathing, she may never think herself as beautiful; Not petite enough, soft enough, dainty enough, youthful enough, colorful enough. Had ruined herself by giving up her purity for love. So bitterness has now become her. She is a jealous, spiteful and vindictive woman. Especially among other courtesan- her competition. Forcing herself to be seen by any means where she feels she is not and as such, quite the scandal.
She trails after Hatsu, hoping to form a new (and untarnished) start. After just weeks of being on their own they are seperated and Nightingale struggles with a life as rogue.
