Profile of Noctaryn: Details
Appearance
Clad in a light silvery-grey with a face dipped in an inky black. The same black adorns the shoulders, but moreso as a soft overlay, creating the illusion of a very lightly charcoal-dusted shawl and legs feathered in a shade lighter than the base.
Personality
Dark & Brooding: His mind is a labyrinth of memories and regrets. Noctaryn rarely speaks, and when he does, his words carry the weight of finality.
Stern & Commanding: He expects absolute discipline from himself and others. His gaze alone conveys more than speeches could.
Strong but Guarded: Beneath his harsh exterior lies a soul burdened by grief. He fights not for glory but for something lost.
Unyielding: Noctaryn does not back down. His resolve is iron, and his fury—when provoked—is like a winter storm: cold, inevitable, and devastating.
By no means does this wolf mean anyone harm—underneath the hardened exterior is a soft center.

Biography
History:
Noctaryn’s story begins with a mistake—a choice that would shape his life in ways he could not foresee. His mother, Kirin, a lone wolf drawn too close to the lands of men while in heat, fell prey to the advances of a domesticated dog named Tavish. From this unlikely union, Noctaryn was born—a ghostly pup with silver eyes that gleamed like moonlight on still water.
For a brief time, he knew the wild. Nestled in a den deep within the woods, he lived at his mother’s side alongside his siblings. But the scent of Tavish lingered, and with it came the humans. One day, drawn by curiosity or greed, they found the den. They took only him—the pale, unnatural pup—ripping him from his mother’s protection and leaving his siblings behind.
What followed were years of torment. Chained outside in the dirt, exposed to the elements, Noctaryn knew nothing of warmth or kindness. His days were filled with hunger, pain, and cold stares; his nights, with the distant howls of wolves in the forest—calls he yearned to answer. The chain around his neck became a cruel reminder of his captivity, biting into his flesh as he grew. His silver eyes, once wide with wonder, hardened with each passing season.
But the wildness in him could not be broken. His bones ached with longing for freedom, his blood stirred by distant memories of the forest. One stormy night, as wind and rain battered the earth, fate intervened. The rusted chain, brittle from years of neglect, snapped. The force of his escape left the loop cinched tightly around his neck, the broken end coiled like a serpent—an unyielding collar he could not remove, no matter how he tried.
Though the chain no longer bound him to the humans’ yard, it remained a mark of his past, a weight he would carry always. He ran—into the shadows of the wild, where he belonged. But the scars of his captivity lingered. The cold gleam in his silver eyes now carried a promise: violence for those who dared to chain him again.
Noctaryn walks the world as a creature caught between two worlds—wolf and dog, wild and broken. The chain around his neck rattles softly when he moves, a warning in the dark. Never to be caged again.
