Build:
a northerner: stolid, stocky. a looming, vaguely intimidating figure. towers over many southron subspecies. oft mistaken for male at first glance though there is a fair femininity to her graceful curves and whispering steps.
Gait:
predatory, prowling. feral. almost ursine.
Coat:
a pristine, pearly white typical of most arctic wolves. thick and insulating. unkempt yet clean, wild and somewhat floofy.
Scars & Modifications:
bears a variety of scars from sparring, fighting, hunting mishaps, etc.
most notably:
- a slash across her left eye, split over her brow bone and beneath her eye where it just barely missed the vital orb.
- a jagged and torn scar marring the left side of her throat.
- several slashes over her spine.
the tip of her right ear is notched in a 'v' shape and permanently dyed a bloody red (caused by animal fat mixed with red ochres) to mark her social standing as a shieldmaiden.

- raised within the clan of Völsung and their archiac ways. turned from her mother's path and displayed an interest in her father's posting from a young age.
- became one of few women who was trained as a shieldmaiden. due to a traumatic event that occurred in her adolescence, the Nord failed to officially complete her training despite already being 'marked'.
- following this event, the strain of secrecy and unraveling of her composure would send her southbound shortly after her first birthday.
