RE: Playing with fire - Charon - March 10, 2016 Finally the doe's death call came. It wasn't often that two wolves were able to take down such a prey (or find one, at all) and Charon smirked proudly at Dhole. "We rocked! Good job, dork," he said lovingly; the joking tone in his voice indicating that he wasn't actually trying to insult her. But she was kind of a dork. That didn't stop him from liking her, though. Anyway, he was shaken from his pride by Dhole suggesting practically to get the meat somewhere safe. Charon thought tearing the meat apart to bring it to a cache was kind of a waste of time 'cause it was boring, but he knew it was a necessary waste of time. "Yeah, let's do that," he said and he started to take apart the deer to cache (and would eat something too because there was nothing like fresh meat, especially deer meat). seems like a good place for a fade?
RE: Playing with fire - Wildfire - March 10, 2016 *finishes her* :)
When Charon called her a dork, Wildfire couldn't resist. "Same to you, ass," she replied, her tone turning it into a term of endearment. She smirked, feeling a little bold again but enjoying meeting his banter pace for pace. They were siblings-in-law now, right? This was just par for the course. Their conversation ceased as they fell to the task of prepping and storing the doe's remains. It was a long and gruesome undertaking which took several hours. By the end of it, Wildfire desperately needed a bath. But she felt a glowing satisfaction after long day of hard work and when she promptly crashed out after a quick wash, there was a smile on her lips. |
