RE: For the Heart - Pump - April 12, 2014 Gavriil didn't find her joke very funny and this was a good thing, because it meant - he was taking the deal seriously. Hunting a sea-lion was hard and dangerous, it would take more than two wolves to take one down. Their skin was thick, there was a lot of fat and you couldn't crush their necks as easily as you would, when you were hunting ungulates. Looking for a corpse or a weakling required a good eye and focus, as well as planning ahead of an escape route. Gavriil's question was reasonable one, Pump, who had done most of her scavenger hunts alone, stopped briefly to think. Then she cast a glance at the big wolf and said: "The flock there is quite big - you go from one side, I will go from the other. Look for sickly little ones or something big that has a lot of white birds around. If they have begun to feast, it is sure as hell, dead." She was ready to go at the very moment and waited only to see, if her packmate had anything else to ask. RE: For the Heart - Gavriil - April 15, 2014 Gavriil was ready. Mentally preparing himself for the hunt has helped. Hunting a sea lion with the help of his alpha would be a walk in the park. They were both capable of doing it. He had confidence in the pair. Nodding his head in acceptance of the plan, and the knowledge that the female bestowed on him Graviil began to walk slowly along the left side of the flock. Pausing, silently, to see what Pump's first move was on the flock. Gavriil would mimic her every moment until they found what they were looking for. RE: For the Heart - Pump - April 16, 2014 ooc: watched this video of sea-lions - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1OoBJ86oqmc - they look so cute. :) Once again Gavriil proved to be a valuable companion. He understood everything with the first take, which eased the process a great deal. Having been used to operating alone, it wasn't easy for Pump to rely on the other person, let alone think and take the repsonsibility for two people. He went to the one side, Pump chose the other. She neared the lying creatures carefully, avoiding to look at anyone directly, but keept tabs on them out of the corner of her eyes. She moved among the sleeping creatures, maneuvering carefully around them, occasionally stopping to sniff the ground around them. After a while it was clear that she was in no luck today, therefore she lifted her head and cast a glance to see, how Gavriil was doing. RE: For the Heart - Gavriil - April 16, 2014 They are too cute. The pups are so adorable.
Gavriil after observing the female dart inbetween the beasts carefully looking for a dead one. Mocking her actions the male did the same. Slowly he made his way through the lions of the ocean. Keeping his eyes away from their stares. After a few seconds Gavriil noticed a few white birds dancing around a large mass of meat. Gavriil raising his head axe eye contact with the female. With a nod of his head he signaled her over to him. Gavriil kept his eyes peeled for any unruly sea-lions. RE: For the Heart - Pump - April 21, 2014 ooc: let's fade this out and have a new thread? I like these two. :) Pump didn't have to be told twice. She made her way carefully to Gavriil and her eyes lit up - the fact that he had managed to find the meal before her didn't mar her joy for the fact that they were going to have plenty of meat for some time. "Let's go and take, what is ours," she told him and offered one of her rare smiles, thus appreciating his effort. |
