"Hmm-mm," he murmured as he stayed on the ground, barely registering Potema's presence anymore. He was intoxicated with the poison, taken by the delightful thrill of pain, and the danger and adrenaline that came with it. The loss of control was his control, to know he had invoked this himself, to know exactly what path this thrill ride would take him upon and yet it was still different each time. It was undescribable what it brought him. He lay there and eventually drifted off to sleep, but he would remember this night in the morning.
