RE: brown sugar - Potema - October 03, 2016

If they are avaliable, and in a pristine condition, I will happily take them over herbs, Perhaps it was because of the nature of her powers that allowed her to have the best results from spider's webs, but when she did need to scry, she did so with webs. Pools of water, hard to come by in Blackfeather Woods, she had never tried with, though she didn't think the process was any different than scrying on a web. It is like looking at the stars or clouds, though the web is closer and easier to read.

As they walked and talked, Potema looked along the ground for a small pool, a puddle. She found one, nearly stepping in it. She turned to Starbuck, wondering if this was the type of water she was looking for.

RE: brown sugar - Starbuck - October 05, 2016

Starbuck thought on it. She had the best luck with water. Gazing at the stars was always a muddy afair, because they had their own secrets to tell and they tried to crowd her mind while she tried to let her mind run blank. But perhaps she also did better with water because it was closer to her. The thought had never occurred, but now she was interested in further studying it.

Quite suddenly they found what they were looking for. It wasn't the clearest water, nor the deepest. In her homeland there were deep, clear pools in which the Seers gazed and saw the world stretch out before him. It... it will do, she said. And without further ado she laid out on the ground, shimmying to get into a position that would remain comfortable throughout long meditation. Come, join me, darling Potema, she said, nosing the ground beside her invitingly.

Seemingly hours later, they parted ways, and though Starbuck spent the night in the now-empty woods, she knew where she was meant to go next.
