he did not want to openly admit how excited he was for a boys' trip but his excitement was displayed in each bit of his body language now. he set aside their problem of a few days ago in favor of the now, the new.

he'd invite the boy along with him for as far on the walk as he'd care for, before they'd need to depart and speak to those who might be worried if they both vanished.

Swordfish gave a half-smile of appreciation for their excursion – the mountains. It would be a good start to their scouting trips. His mind swam with thoughts of different prey as they walked. He listened to Quen talk for a short while before they agreed that they would discuss their trip with their loved ones. Once they’d done right, they could step beyond their seaside home and into the known wild of the world.
