Luckily, Meldresi came to the rescue after she had rescued Damien, and freed Cicero from the webs. He held still when she commanded him to, calm as long as his mother was near, and when he was freed he followed Meldresi and his siblings home. Cicero was glad to be home, though he was also intrigued by the webs and the glow worms; he wished to return there soon, this time take things a bit more carefully. Cicero drifted off to sleep among family, dreaming of playing with the glow worms; this time without getting himself horribly stuck.
