As if in answer to the subject of their conversation, the very protector of the flatlands entered their vicinity. Or, rather, just a very lost deer. Atreyu's ears pricked as his friend suddenly paused before turning to him with a noticeable spark to her eyes. He shared her excitement, breathing in the scent of the creature with a wide smile.
It didn't take long for the pair to abandon their conversation in favour of some deer chasing. Maybe he wouldn't be returning to Stavanger Bay empty-handed after all.
