welcome to the new age - Scimitar - July 07, 2015

Set in Swiftcurrent Creek

He needed a short escape from it all – and he could find no better excuse to go back to Rising Sun Valley – a place he had not visited since departing from Swiftcurrent Creek. He did not miss the area, and as his bright eyes lingered upon the familiar landscape before him, he could only feel a surge of pride at what he and his pack mates had accomplished – they had pulled themselves from the curse of their old home, and reestablished themselves upon a peak that any would find appealing.. especially those of the north.

But it was nostalgia that pulled him to Swiftcurrent Creek, and while the borders no longer scented of the wolves that had once been there, he had become so familiar with the land and their previous claim that he could still determine where they had been. Here, Fox had lead them – and had wrought chaos upon them. Here, he had found respect for the silver male, Njal.. and lost it because of the man’s fiery mate. Here was where he had met Bazi.. and what a tumultuous ride that had been.

Falwasi, Paarthurnax, Relonikiv, Dovev, Galileo.. even Luka. Face sof their past that were sorely missed – but remained to be nothing but memories of ghosts now.

The land before him was perfectly silent now.

RE: welcome to the new age - Kira Esaria - July 26, 2015

Here comes Mrs. Buttface Kittycat XD

But it would not be so silent for long. A ferocious wildcat walked around the Swiftcurrent that was once filled with wolves. Of course, since it was abondoned, it was Ki's duty as a cat to go investigate the scene.

There had been only one thing on her mind since the last encounter with the two mutts. Territory. She needed a place to call her own. Where no wolf dare come near. Where any other cat that ceosses the line will be killed. Where any food that comes is hers. Just hers.

The smell of a mutt caught her attention, so golden paws carried her to the smell. When she saw the wolf she hid, her scent covered by dirt. A smile spread over her maw. Fresh meat. It's been awhile since she ate a wolf. She had intended to eat the red youngster, but she missed the chance. "Tsk, tsk. You should not be here," she muttered, still hidden.

RE: welcome to the new age - Scimitar - August 14, 2015

The silence only lasted so long – a voice hissed out at him, quiet, despite the silence that surrounded them. He bristled at the tone, lifting his muzzle up to try and decipher a scent attached to the vocals. Nothing drifted to him yet, and his eyes narrowed. Bristling, Scimitar’s lips curled back, his eyes glancing around to see if he could catch view of his visitor. He could see nothing.

Despite having abandoned Swiftcurrent Creek all those moons ago, a fierce protectiveness for the land surged over him. “Or perhaps you shouldn’t,” he rumbled back darkly, not quite realizing yet what monster he was playing in to.
