It had all came onto him so quickly. He was getting his morning fill, when something strange happened. He could hear his mother speaking. "My Dark Rabbit," is what she had whispered. Though he didn't understand what that meant and he could only here fragments, it still astonished him. He could hear things. He heard the soft grunts from his brother and sister. He heard the soft coos of his mother. It overwhelmed him so much, he stopped eating. And what came next overwhelmed him even more. His eyelids were slowly starting to part. He cried with fright. He could see. He looked up to the big climby thing, and she was looking right down at him, smiling. Her eyes were of a bright blue and her fur was black. Did he look like her? What did his sibblings look like? He turned around to his feeding sibblings. One was white and grey, the other was dark brown. Of corse he didn't know the names of these colors, but it still excited him! RE: sweet honey, I see the light! - Peridot Bolverk - July 09, 2015 Once she was done with her share of milk she took a look around her for the first time. There has been some amazing discoveries. The dark form was her mother, A white-ish one along with a brown one was her brothers. At first it was all too terrifying, but with the given time these forms and shapes weren't as scary. She was getting used to them but could never ignore all the colors around her even if she has already seen their forms. It was just a wonderous thing to be able to see and hear even if those senses aren't fully developed yet. But these senses were enough for her to rediscover what the warm sources were. Her new senses allowed her to have more information, She even discovered a bit of herself along the way. Things seem to happen so fast but might as well continue to discover while discovering. She slowly approached her brother with the white fur and black nose. She noticed that as she move to him his form got larger. He would seem to be her size. But because she was more curious she wanted to get closer to the point her nose connected to his. It was a bit sudden as it surprised her on contact and she yelped which surprised herself again. Did she do that? Was that really her own sound? She couldn't help but make noise again. It was kinda interesting. She could make noise and she could hear it! RE: sweet honey, I see the light! - Baldur - July 10, 2015 After yet again another nap, Baldur was extremely found of those now, his eyes opened to a strange sound. Sound? The overwhelming blurry sight that greeted him as he went to investigate caused the same noise he had heard to squeak from his own mouth. There were several forms around him. Two of these forms were .... bright? It was the only description he could think of. The largest form was dark. Balur looked down at his two paws and saw that he himself was also dark. It was a curious thing, this sight. His head slowly turned about him, allowing him to experience his new senses. Above his little family was darkness and far away he could see a glow of light. What was that? It scared him. Another sound produced from his muzzle, startling him. Quickly he maneuvered his way to his siblings that matched him in size, intent on hiding from this new scary world. He was even somewhat afraid of the large form next to him, which the scent from it indicated that it was his mother. RE: sweet honey, I see the light! - RIP Leo - July 11, 2015 Unlike his sister, he was fasinated by the touch. He grunted in shock, then yipped at that grunt. He didn't know he could make sound! He started making as much sound as he could, enjoying all of it. He moved in closer to his brother and chewed on his tail. This new, still developing senses were great! He can easily find his food and the best warm place by his mother. He grunted and whimpered as he started climbing over his bigger brother and sister. He always liked to be on top of things. RE: sweet honey, I see the light! - Peridot Bolverk - July 13, 2015 Self discovery was currently the most interesting thing. She managed to see the paw she was controling herself. Nothing really changed besides that she was now able to see it. Her fur was white. She figured that maybe she looked the same as her brother. There wasn't alot of time for her to discover something else when suddenly her darker brother came along for a place to dig in. At the same time her lighter brother was trying to get above. This left her in the center of it all but she didn't mind that. Among her brothers was a warm place that usually stays the longest. There was a little leg waving in front of her and she simply couldn't resist trying to chew it down. She couldn't harm her lighter brother, Her chewing was light but it was the best she could do. RE: sweet honey, I see the light! - Baldur - July 13, 2015 One of his siblings began making a lot of noise before beginning to climb on top of him and chew on his tail. Baldur cried, feeling overwhelmed by all the senses. He did not enjoy the pressure of his brother's paws, nor did he like the pinching feeling on his tail. He tried to wiggle away and hide against their mother even though her huge form scared him. It was better than being squished! But his little body was not strong enough to dig himself out of the pile. So his little paws wiggled in place. Baldur tried to snag one of his brothers paws in his own mouth out of frustration. RE: sweet honey, I see the light! - RIP Leo - July 30, 2015 He had been enjoying chewing on a tail when, oh no! He was being attacked by all angles! One paw was being chewed on by Baldur, while the back one was being chewed on by Peridot. He yipped with excitment and confusion, making him fall off his brother. What was that weird feeling? He looked up to see his mother again. So big. Was he supposed to be that big. He hoped not, it looked scary. Blue eyes watched as Lusa began to flick her tongue over Baldur, then Peridot, then him. His eyes widened by the familiar touch. So this was the nice warm thing? |
