the great escapist, sort of... - RIP Leo - July 23, 2015 @Raziel please :3
There was many things he had learned the time Leo got here. He got to learn the names of his "siblings" and his own "name". He loved to chirp out all the names he had learned from Scarlett. "Leeooh! LEEOOH!" he called out to the world. He knew that he may have driven everyone nuts with his voice, but he couldn't help himself. He loved hearing himself talk. It was an amazing feeling! He waddled up to the entrance, where the light shown and smiled with glee. "Hemwo!" he called to the wind. He turned around and looked at his weird family. "Hemwo Seesee... Exaan, Dansa, Nahnuk...." he whispered, not wanting to anger his sisters and brother to much. He still wondered why his family had changed so much. Peridot had turned grey, Baldur's dark fur turned pale, and so did mother's. And where was his papa? He usually bought home meat everyday. Didn't he love them anymore? RE: the great escapist, sort of... - Raziel - July 23, 2015 Raziel was rather annoyed, there was no denying that. Scarlett brought the kid home without even thinking of the various consequences. Like, the had four troublemaker pups already, they did not need another big fat mouth to feed. They did not have enough resources to feed five pupfor god's sake. Why couldn't she see beyond her motherly damning instincts and think of the more practical and logical amd common sense orientated approach to things? Raziel scowled in annoyance to himself. He supposed he would have to endure this for now, but if heir numbers dwindled again and they found themselves unable to feed another mouth, Raziel would throw this Leo away in favor for the pack born pups. Or maybe he would throw Xan, the annoying brat that was so much like his annoying Inuit of a father away instead. Leo was technically more likeable anyways, He arrived to his den and smiled involuntarily to hear the lion furred boy's voice. He was miuch more likeable than his foster brother. Yeah, he'll throw Xan away in favor for Leo. Dropping the rabbit he caught onto the ground, he lay on the ground, giving the boy an affectionate lick to the top of his furry head. RE: the great escapist, sort of... - RIP Leo - July 23, 2015 A wide smile spread across his maw as another familiar wolf appeared. It was Raziel, though he thought it was Bruke. He wagged his stubby little tail as he got an affectionate lick from the male. At least he knew more than one wolf liked him here. He didn't get such a warm welcome from his older sibling. He didn't know what his deal was. But after their first meeting, he made sure to stay away from the pale male. He stood up to get a better look at the older wolf. "Leeooh!" he chirped, pround to voice his name. RE: the great escapist, sort of... - Raziel - July 23, 2015 Raziel grinned when the boy wagged his tail so fast the Roman wouldn't be surprised if he took off into the air right there and then. He was cute, much more tn Scarlett and Kove's kids if he did say so himself. Perhaps it was because he felt like the boy would think of him as a father, something Scarlett's biological kids would probably never think of him as. And technically, the cream colored cub was much more likeable than his foster siblings, well, except for Sesi and Nanook. The two girls were ten times better than Alexander. Raziel nodded and smiled when the boy pronounced his new name. "Leo," he agreed with a nod and rewarded the boy with another lick. "Raziel," he told the lion pup, pointing to himself. "Ra..zi....el" RE: the great escapist, sort of... - RIP Leo - July 23, 2015 He was praised with another affectionate lick, making his smile wider. He was a smart little guy was he? He listened carefully as the wolf pronounced his name to him. "Rrrr-Razeel?" He made a excited squeek as he said the name. He was so proud of himself! He had learned so much over the past three weeks of his life. He turned over to the dead rabbit and excitedly hoped over to it. He dug his nose into the thing. It felt just like the stuff he slept on before the storm. And that smell.... oh that smell! It smelled just like the food his own papa would bring. He looked up at the Bearclaw Alpha. Could his father change color too? Oh why couldn't he change color? He pawed at the rabbit. "Mmmmm... " RE: the great escapist, sort of... - Raziel - July 24, 2015 Raziel's grin threatened to split his face when the young boy managed to pronounce his name. Or half pronounce it. Whatever. It was good enough for such a young kid. "Smart boy," he praised Leo with a bright smile. He was beginning to like the cream colored boy more and more despite his efforts not to; he was the Alpha after all and you just didn't go around befriending random kids that some person knowingly dumped on your borders knowing that someone would take care of them. He watched as the boy hopped over to the rabbit and buried his nose into the prey. Leo looked up at him with bright blue eyes and pawed at the rabbit. Raziel moved over and gazed at the lion cub curiously, pups didn't even eat regurgitated meat until they were Scarlett's biological litter's age, about a month old. And this pup was younger than Xan as far as he knew, so he shouldn't be eating meat yet, he should still be drinking milk. Raziel tilted his head curiously, before he decided to have some fun and tried tickling the boy with his nose. RE: the great escapist, sort of... - RIP Leo - July 24, 2015 Leo continued playing with the rabbit. He jumped around it. Pawed at it. Chewed on it with his still developing teeth. He pulled out a few hairs, mumbling Raziel's name as he did so. He wanted to test out every word he learns. An excited sound escaped his little maw as he felt the male tickling at his side. He flopped on his back and started to laugh with glee. He liked his new playmate! This new place had alot of fun things here! The sandy boy stood up and waddled over to the silvery Alpha. He copied him, tickling his leg the way he did. "Razeel!" RE: the great escapist, sort of... - Raziel - July 25, 2015 Raziel found himself drawn to the boy as Leo jumped around the rabbit, pawed at it and chewed on it, all while murmuring his name. The cream furred child reminded him of his littermate Anselm who was of similar temperament. If the boy was as similar to his brother as the keeper of secrets thought him to be, then he would grow up to be a brilliant counselor and caretaker. He might be weaker on the dominant side, but he would be strong in other ways. He'll be the best of all of them, he thought to himself proudly until he remembered that the boy wasn't his child. Raziel grinned when Leo squeaked excitedly as the angel of death tickled him. The boy flopped onto his back like a dying fish (bad simile) and began laughing with glee as the Alpha tickled the boy relentlessly. The Alpha Male's smile threatened to split his face. It had been a long time since he let go of his worries and played like this and he loved it. He missed and for a moment, he wished that his siblings were here with him, perhaps they would find a solution to his problem too. But nevermind that for now. He watched with bright teal eyes as the boy waddled over to him and tried tickling Raziel. Sadly, he wasn't really ticklish, so he didn't succumb to giggles like the boy did. However, wanting to make the child happy, he began laughing too. RE: the great escapist, sort of... - RIP Leo - July 27, 2015 Sorry this post sucks XD
He got the reaction he wanted, so he did it some more. He jumped around his legs, tickling him in different spots. If only his siblings were here. They were missing out on so much cool things! After awhile of bouncing around, he sat on his front paws. "Plureeeb," he babbled excitedly. He didn't know a whole bunch of words, so gibbirish would do for now. He would soon learn how to talk at least to an understandable extent. RE: the great escapist, sort of... - Raziel - July 31, 2015 Raziel watched with concealed fondness as he watched Leo jump around excitedly and eagerly tickled him in different spots. However, sadly for the little lion, Raz grew tired of giggling like a girl and stopped laughing in mid tickle. Instead, he focused his fiery, intense gaze on the boy and wondered what had happened to the boy's family; he wondered who had dropped such an adorable creature here; he wondered if the boy even remembered his former home before he arrived. With a sigh, the Roman pushed the thoughts aside and focused on the task at hand. A weary smile spread across the weathered Alpha's face as the boy babbled with an excitement that was lost to the silver leader. He shifted his position so he was lying across the entrance of the den and so his gaze was fixed on the boy. "Where are your family?" he wondered aloud as he reached to plant a fatherly kiss on the kid's forehead. RE: the great escapist, sort of... - RIP Leo - July 31, 2015 ty for the thread :P fade next post?
When the giant wolf had stopped his laughing, so did he. He sat on the paws of Raziel and studied them. So big! He placed one of his own paws on his. The creamy boy's paws weren't half as big as his. He wondered if he would grow that big. He hoped so. Leo didn't understand the words the male spoke, so he kept staring down at the two paws. If only he did though. He could have told him. Told him about the horrible storm. Told him a wolf took him and bought him here for saftey. Tell him about his sister and brother. His caring mother and his amazing father. But he couldn't. He felt the affectionate warmth on his head, making him smile. He liked the wolves here. So nice and willing to play with him. But despite that, he wanted to see mother again. RE: the great escapist, sort of... - Raziel - September 01, 2015 Raziel observed the cream boy's movements silently, watching as Leo sat on his paws then placed one of his smaller, tinier paws on him. As the child wasn't even four months old yet, his paw was much more tinier than the ones of the Roman's. Raziel spoke, but the boy's gaze remained glued on his two tiny paws, and so, the silver Alpha grew silent too and simply observed the adopted child with gentle teal eyes in a manner that could be said as fatherly. "C'mon boy," he said softly to Leo, picking him up by his scruff and deposited him beside his foster brothers and sisters. "Go sleep, I'll be back soon." And with that, the Alpha retreated from the den, more troubled than he had been when he entered it. |
