The sky above grew darker with every step the platinum creature took, careful and considered as they were. The path before him was treacherous, as it had been with each step previous. Anyone could plainly see that they were not well worn from years of traverse, which could only mean that they were rarely traveled at all. Even though the freshest layer of snow would have covered any tracks that had recently been made through here, the fact remained the same. The brush and obstacles around him were not worn down, there lingered no scents from snagged tendrils of fur. A particularly thorn ridden plant-like brush tore out a few tendrils of platinum silver fur as Raiden brushed past, not paying it any of mind. He was close to the end of this particular treacherous path and he did not wish to break his concentration when the price was so close he could hear the river’s running water clearly.

Sea blue irises, nearly swallowed by abysmal pupils as they blew wide to adjust to the lack of light as the sky grew darker as the sun sunk beneath the horizon. A few minutes later, determined not to stop until he was free of the path, and stopping at it’s end to scratch deep markings into the frozen yet reluctantly complying earth where it met chilly sand, so he would be able to find his path so he could find his way back out, he padded towards the river, pausing at it’s edge, where it lapped hungrily at his toes, to watch the rest of the sunset. In isolation there was peace. Total isolation was lonely, was how Raiden had been living his life for months now, since the ‘incident’.
