Make sure you've read through our Guidebook. It will answer all your questions about trades.
To edit your signature, you find the relevant field when updating your profile through your user CP.

You would put [img]xxx[/img]. Just replace the "xxx" with the actual image link. You can find this by right clicking on the image.

Ah, wasn't sure if there was some trick to it or not, but thanks.
But I'm guessing tables don't work here? I didn't see anything about them being in the rules, for not being allowed to be used, for example.

Edit: One more thing, is there anything in specific icly my character must do to do a trade, such as gathering a herb?

As Kat said, make sure to read through the guidebook which is very explicit about pretty much everything related to the forum.
You'll find the Trades' explanations here, and all you have to do to get a trade is to have five threads that involves activities related to it and then show the evidence to your Alphas to be awarded with the title and the icon in your profile.
