When times get rough, kill somebody - Hayde - October 08, 2015

After the three intrusive attacks the Caldrea wolves had thrown at the newly forming pack, Hayde had doubled her patrolling and would continue to do so until Haunted Wood was officially claimed. Even then Hayde would be prepared to chase off any wanders other than possible recruits, thanks to the shitty neighbors next door.

The female trotted along the borders of her new home heavily reinforcing the scent markers while trying to catch any trace of intruders. Her mind wandered back when Chev had come along the dark alpha and what could have happened if she hadn't shown up. It could have gone much smoother with the youngster delivering the message to Lusa or it could have gone much, much, worse than it already had. Either way precautions needed to be taken, and Hayde knew that the first step to securing this place would be to make sure everyone was prepared for the worst.

If a war did break out between the two packs, the pale female wanted to make sure her Niece and Nephews had a fighting chance against their enemies. Taking a break from her patrol, Hayde drifted off into the darkness of the woods in search of @Chevalier who she would train first, as he seemed a bit too confident in himself.

RE: When times get rough, kill somebody - RIP Leo - October 08, 2015

For the past few days, Leo had been in a terrified state. As he traveled through the woods, he could hear strange things. Leo, we know who you really are, they whispered in a cackling voice. There is evil in you boy, they rasped. Of course, he was the only one who could hear them. He was imagining these voices. It rotted his brain with the fear he was always watched. It looked as if there was a red glow always in his vision that only he could see. The young prince was going insane.

Today was no different. Leo could hear eerie cries in the woods. They called his name, their voices full of venom. Come with us, they chanted. "Leave me alone!", he growled aloud. To an onlooker, it looked like he was speaking to himself, but to him it seemed like the reasonable thing to do.

His vision was blurred, so the cream colored boy did not see Hayde until he ran into her leg. He fell backward, shaking his head and looking up at his aunt. "Hello Hayde," he greeted, but not with a usual happy smile.

RE: When times get rough, kill somebody - Hayde - October 28, 2015

It took time some time to track down the young boy, but ultimately Hayde found him easily and approached him with a slight wave of her tail. She heard the boy scream something and the pale female immediately went on alert believing someone was in the woods that wasn't supposed to be. Though when no one other than herself and Chevalier seemed to be in the area, she relaxed and looked down to the boy who bumped into her leg. She greeted him with a gentle touch to his cheek and sat down so that he would feel as comfortable with her as possible.

"Tell me Chevalier, have you had any training in fighting or protecting yourself?" The woman watched the young boy's reaction though she was still curious as to who he was talking to when he shouted. She hadn't seen, heard or smelt any other wolves, but then it didn't make sense as to why the boy would shriek in such a way. Assuming he had just been talking to himself or perhaps playing with an imaginary friend, Hayde didn't question him on his shouting, and turned so that her full attention was on the boy.
