castle on a cloud - Sart - October 19, 2015

She hadn't been around when Reggie was chased out of the pack. She hadn't heard her sister's cries as she'd been chased, nor was her nose strong enough to pick up any lingering scents of the scuffle on the borders. What she did feel was her sister's absence. She'd thought it strange when her sister hadn't curled up in their little nook to sleep and found it stranger still when she'd woke up shivering. Where had Regipre gone? She hadn't the slightest idea.

Normally, she wouldn't have thought much of it. Reggie was Reggie and did her own things most times. She wasn't very friendly and didn't really like including Sart in things. It was the lack of her coming home last night that suggested something might not have been quite right and Sart set out to find her. "Reggie!" she called as she wandered through the wood. "Reggie where be you!?"

RE: castle on a cloud - Juniper RIP - October 26, 2015

Juniper was busy familiarizing herself with the maplewood when a shrill cry, carried by the wind, caught her attention. Her ears peaked and she turned her head in the direction of the sound feeling, first, anxiety, and then an overwhelming surge of concern. She had no knowledge of the coyote pups, or the drama surrounding their inclusion in the woodland, so when she set off after the voice, Juniper could only assume it was one of the new female's pups. It wasn't in her nature to be jaded towards coyotes; her father had accepted a young pair of hybrids into their ranks not long after Gareth was born, but this would be a first for her.

She soon spotted a large pair of tawny ears attached to a tiny, angular frame and promptly adjusted her course to cross with the youth. She approached, ears at ease on each side of her skull, and softened her gaze (though laced with confusion), "Dearheart, what is the matter?" She asked, keeping a respectful distance from the girl as not to stress her further. Juniper, for all her gentleness, was a rather large wolf and Sart was, well, tiny and young.
