heavy is the head that wears the crown - Constantine - October 27, 2015

For @Lasher and @Eilidh -- warrior training. :)

Restless, the youth drifted through the territory, his ears splayed back to his skull and his mind lost within his thoughts. The autumn days were becoming crisper – something the youth did not mind, and he knew winter would soon be upon them – soon, he and his siblings would be a year old.

The thought was a welcoming one, though it only spurred him forward to gaining at least one trade before the day came. Casmir was actively seeking outrider, and his twin was doing quite well at it. But where did that leave him?

He knew what his aspirations were.. but not quite how to grasp them. With his nose drifting downward, the yearling began to trail along the scent of his father, hoping to seek the man out.

RE: heavy is the head that wears the crown - Lasher - October 30, 2015

pride flickered in taltos' heart when he thought of his lovely and hale children. he worried for casmir, but the child had not gone south alone, and he knew the boy would soon return. a slow circle of the borders passed the morning, breath rising in a plume of steam into the early, cold air of dawn. his senses brought to him the inquisitive scent of his son, and without a thought lasher turned his steps inward to meet the swarthy quester.

"constantine," he greeted, bumping the youth's shoulder affectionately with his own before he met the boy's eyes with a smile. "hunting upon this cool day?" he inquired, falling into step with the tall young wolf.
