give me fuel, give me fire - Cicero - November 06, 2015

He's near to PHX looking for Miss @Scarlett C: but all are welcome!

Sheogorath had not found anything useful in the territories he'd passed so far coming up north looking for Scarlett. He considered howling for her, for maybe she would come — she was not on bad terms with Cicero, after all, and the fool had once confided in her his desire for the light — but it would be too messy. Everyone would know he was looking for her then, and if he were to try anything, she might have back-up. He could always howl later — it was time for spying first.

There was a pack nearby. Perhaps, unlike the other pack he had come across, this one would be the one to host Scarlett and, with her, Xan's sisters. Sheogorath wandered along the frays of a stream with his nose to the ground around dawn, sniffing along the edge of the stream to see if he could find Scarlett's scent; no luck so far.

Not sure if Cicero would recognize her since she was so small. Thought it would make an interesting thread.

Desna felt rather naughty for going over the borders. Last time she went over the border she ran into a very mean wolf. The young female trotted further. She was still a bit reckless but she wanted to explore! She was an explorer at heart and it was something that would probably never leave her. The young female had that from her father's side. Desna was slowly loosing her fat, turning into more of an elegant lady. She still was big for her age, making her look good month older than she actually was. The dark girl looked around as she followed the river out of their territory.

She was getting a bit worried about her mother. She never smiled, not really, all after what happened with her father and that whole fight. Her sisters were different too. Did that mean she was different now? Still it made her sad to see her mother so sad. Hopefully she would cheer up a bit. Maybe she could find something that could cheer her up! That was a cool idea! That cool idea was soon forgotten when Desna spotted a black and white wolf. As she came closer she saw that he had mismatched eyes. Wow! So interesting. She clearly couldn't remember that she met this male before. She had been too young. "Hello," she greeted.

thanks for joining! :)

While Sheogorath scanned his surroundings, his mismatched eyes fell upon a pup. He hadn't a clue what any of Scarlett's pups looked like now (when pups were small, they pretty much all looked the same anyway; from what he remembered they were just grey and white blobs at the time). However, considering she was a pup, it was worth checking out. Children were great, because they often told the truth and did not sit on their information, afraid of abuse, like adults often did. Sheogorath smiled expressively at the pup as she neared and greeted him with a brave 'hello'.

"Hello," he returned with a charming smile. "You the warden around here?" He glanced up on ahead, towards the nearby pack, and found himself wondering for its name. He decided not to drop a question bomb on the child however, and started with a simple introduction. "I'm Sheo."

Welcome! <3

Desna felt her face heat up a bit when the young male before her smiled at her. Desna only had her brother around, not many other males really. It was her mother and her sister. She usually hung out with girls. Now she was talking to an actual boy. Her hazel colored eyes fell on his. "Um..," she spoke and looked around to then look back to her pack grounds. "Nope. I am almost a gamekeeper," she returned and moved her tail a bit. She was super proud of herself, in a non-arrogant way, that she was so close to getting her trade.

The charcoal youngster looked over him, all these patches and these mis matched eyes. He looked super special. Maybe he was a special wolf, or a famous one. Who knows! Desna was very impressed with him. She couldn't help it. The girl hadn't met too many strangers. "I'm Desna!," she introduced. "Do you want to join our pack?," she asked curiously.

The moment of bashfulness tickled Sheogorath's fancy. He enjoyed seeing others in moments of weakness, even if they were just little. Sheogorath grinned as she said that she was almost a gamekeeper, for she said it with such childish innocence. "Almost, eh? You must be great at hunting, then." Sizing her up, Sheogorath figured she was probably half a year old, or something along that region; she was quite grown, no longer a small pup.

Sheogorath smiled when she looked at him, seeming to size him up too. She was quick to introduce herself as Desna, and Sheogorath's face froze for a moment as he realised that he'd hit jackpot. Desna. He'd already confirmed that she was from this pack, which meant that all of her sisters were probably there too. However, Sheogorath was quick to resume his smile. He wasn't just going to scoop this one up and take her to Blackfeather Woods. That would be careless. He was only here to gather information, so he decided to stick to casual chatter. "Desna's a pretty name," said Sheogorath. He smiled in a friendly manner when she asked if he wanted to join their pack. "Should I want to?" he asked and he looked at Desna inquiringly, figuring she'd tell him a thing or two about her pack now.

RE: give me fuel, give me fire - RIP Valette - November 09, 2015

Desna blinked a bit as he was complimenting her. "Uh... Sure," she spoke in return to the male. She wasn't going to say she was because if he was expecting things from her now she couldn't. She also wasn't going to talk herself down because she liked what she was doing. Desna was confident but don't over confident. The girl didn't notice the freeze or that the male had any other motives. She was rather native with all those things. She didn't have many outside influences after all.

Desna smiled when he complimented her name. "Thank you," she spoke. Then she thought about having him in their pack. Maybe he could be a good asset to their pack. He was young and probably strong. But then again she couldn't decide that for him if he should join. "That is up to you actually," she pointed out. "I can't decide that for you? Are you in a pack?," the girl asked.

RE: give me fuel, give me fire - Cicero - November 12, 2015

Sheogorath lifted an eyebrow as the girl seriously answered his question; he'd intended it only as an invitation for her to tell him how great her pack was. He wondered if this was a sign that the pack wasn't that great, or that the girl just wasn't the brightest tool in the shed.

Regardless, Sheogorath decided to ignore her query about his pack and instead ask about the pack. He had a good excuse now, after all. "I'd like to know more about it first. What's your pack called, and who lead it? What sort of pack is it, and how many wolves?" These were all valid things to know about a pack, but also things that interested Sheogorath in case he'd ever need to return here to collect Xan's sisters. He wouldn't take action today, even though his brain called for violence. He was alone and too far from the Woods in case something'd go wrong. He might've tried something if he had run into the pups' mother alone, but that was no longer an option and he didn't intend to stake out here waiting for her. Maybe he would return to do so later. Or maybe he would try to join this pack, if Burke thought that was a good idea (Sheogorath wondered if Burke cared for these pups at all, though, but Sheogorath figured he could always find out if they were Blackfeather material or not if he were to join and spy on them).

Desna looked a bit unsure since she didn't know if she could tell all these things to a stranger. But.. he was interested in joining right? So then it would be good to have scouted a new wolf for their pack! Desna's hazel eyes lit up a bit, thinking she was going something good. "It is called Phoenix Maplewood," she returned to his question. "And it is lead by Saena and Reek," she added quickly.

The dark girl looked at him curiously. It was the charming smile she fell for, and her innocence mostly was the cause of her spilling all the info the male needed. "I don't know how many wolves because I haven't met everyone yet. It is a protective pack they kill intruders. I saw my mommy kill the intruder too," she let out, which was still a big shock to her. She never seen her mommy so ... murderous.

RE: give me fuel, give me fire - Cicero - November 13, 2015

Phoenix Maplewood, lead by Saena and Reek, Sheogorath mentally mapped to himself. She was not sure how many wolves were in the pack, but there were apparently enough to kill trespassers. It surprised Sheogorath to hear about Scarlett killing someone. In his memory, she was a friendly and soft sort of wolf. The sort of wolf that Cicero had liked. The sort of wolf Sheogorath cared nothing for.

"Your mother did that? Wow, it sounds like she's a good fighter then." Sheogorath glanced towards the pack she mentioned. How quaint, Phoenix Maplewood. It looked idyllic as he looked upon it, and weird to think that the truth was that much moreso bloodsplattered. "I'll think about it. Can I call for you first, Desna, if I decide I want to join? Or should I call for this Reek and Saena you mentioned? From a safe distance, of course." Sheogorath grinned jokingly, though in truth he would keep his distance, now warned and with the knowledge that trespassers were brutally killed here.

RE: give me fuel, give me fire - RIP Valette - November 14, 2015

Desna was not used to all the compliments from a stranger but she was starting to like it. Then the male spoke about her mother being a good fighter. Well, she knew her mother hated violence and fighting but seeing her last time that almost sounds like she was secretly a good fighter. "She is," Desna just agreed, not knowing that her words could be rather conflicting.

Desna then looked over his shoulder back to the forest. "You should howl for Saena and Reek," she spoke instantly. "My mother isn't the leader anymore. This is a different pack so you should go to them. But I can maybe tell Saena that you want to join and that i met you already and that you are nice," she let out, sounding a bit breathless when she did.

RE: give me fuel, give me fire - Cicero - November 18, 2015

When Desna said that her mother was not the leader anymore, Sheogorath knew for sure that he had the right wolf. He nodded at Desna as she informed him to call for Saena and Reek, and mentally mapped the names to memory.

Desna offered to tell them about Sheo, and he considered it for a moment. "Yes, that would be great," he eventually said. "Thanks a lot! Hopefully I'll see you again soon." Sheogorath flashed a smile before he turned away to leave, unless Desna would say anything more to keep him there.

RE: give me fuel, give me fire - RIP Valette - November 18, 2015

Desna blinked when the male just left. She looked a bit disappointed, after he got information he left already like he didn't want to hang out with her anymore. The girl let out a soft pout and watched him leave. Hopefully he would come back and join their pack! It would be fun to have someone like him around! He sounded wise and full of cool ideas. Of course Desna was only idolizing the stranger that was nice to her.

She didn't turn back to her pack just yet, she still wanted to explore! So she went into the other direction as the wolf went.
