Chamber of Secrets - Damien - November 09, 2015

I suppose this also happens before Meldresi's death... Just to make sure things don't get too weird...
This one's AW but anyone I'm not threading with at the moment in BFW can join

There was something Damien could not stop thinking about ever since the storm came. He almost died that day trying to get back to it. His stuff, his souvenirs. And up until this day he didn't know if they were still there.

Damien moved away from the keep in silence. No one could know about his chamber of secrets, so he used the shadows to move without being noticed. Not even the crows saw him coming across the forest, and the ravens didn't even noticed him crossing their main settlement. He was good. Hella good.

The place looked very different. Rocks that weren't there before were scattered around the area, and some trees had fallen throughout the forest. Damien almost didn't remember his way back to the right place, but when he did, he wished he hadn't left for so long.

"Bastards!"

The place had been usurped by a family of foxes. Damien approached with a growl, and at the mouth of his cave, a red snout emerged, snarling.

RE: Chamber of Secrets - Nemesis - November 09, 2015

Seizing the opportunity ;)

While the territory activity had ceased to a reasonable standard, she took the time to rid herself from the darned ground. Ultimately getting sick of seeing the same bloodlines every single morning. The seasons were changing once again, finding frost under he paws in the mere hours of the day, before the sun emerged to warm the frozen ground. Even then, the air was still thick with bitterness, a sign the winter approached faster than she anticipated.

Where she was going, she was sure nobody habitated. A particular spot littered with rocks. It was curious, the only explanation that the storm had torn up that area before she came. Only had she passed by the general area, as she was always on the lookout for new areas to stake out.

A yell from near her put her on alert, the territory instincts kicking in. The voice sounded angry, and aware of it's presence so the idea of a trespasser cleared from her mind. While she was technically still young herself, her mind state was matured years ahead, as if her intuition was her own power. The scent was young, younger than herself but not new. This was Damien, she realised, remembering his scent from the blood moon ceremony.

"You okay there?" She called out to the male, but not in any way caring about his feelings. She simply had no desire to start conversation with someone who was not in the right state of mind to talk without form of anger. A simple fox problem could be fixed, as if profanity could help at all.

Hormones, she mentally sighed. The male was temperamental, for sure, making a mental note to avoid any unfriendly contact that seemed to always arise from any situation involving herself.

RE: Chamber of Secrets - Damien - November 09, 2015

YAY! finally :D

Like herself, Damien's interactions with unfamiliar wolves seemed to always end up in unfriendly and aggressive events. But that was just his nature and his , indeed hormonally youth being a dick to pretty much everyone who wasn't Damien.

But today he was in a strangely good mood, obviously aside from being pissed off that a fox had stolen his den.

The female that came to scene had been long noticed before she arrived. Damien was always aware of his surroundings. "This bastard stole my den," he explained, leaving out the 'and my secret stuff' part.

The fox' narrow snout snapped at Damien before retreating again, and Damien snapped back. Damien hadn't asked for help from the female, but he hadn't denied it either. Whatever happened, Damien would get his things back.

RE: Chamber of Secrets - Nemesis - November 10, 2015

Unlike her normal state, today she was feeling quite passive aggressive. To the rest of the world, a break from her havok was exactly what it needed. It was only a miracle that her emotions were in such a state in contrast to Damien's explosive behaviour. Two very, rage driven wolves never sprouted anything good.

The matter of the den seemed preposterous to her. Damien had birth rights to any place in Blackfeather to sleep in but he had to have the one the foxes had. It looked like he wasn't the only 'Princess of Blackfeather'.

Letting out an elongated sigh, she watched as the two danced in a snapping threat, each side was forcing their claim and she had to be the referee.

"You realize you can just find another one, frankly a better one than this mess" She voiced, the faintest hint of judgement in her tone. Hadn't the boy Xan picked a fight with a fox not a while ago, and now there was this one. She had it in her right mind to simply rid the vulpine ambush from Blackfeather, permanently.

A sharp hiss from the den made her eyes narrow at the creature's attitude. This would not do. Thier species was a menace enough, but the ones with lip got her going. Letting out a low rumble of growl herself, her ears slightly flattened towards her head. Oh no you don't, she muttered in anger towards the fox whose nose was just barely peeking out from the den itself.

RE: Chamber of Secrets - Damien - November 10, 2015

The female behind him had been largely unimportant to Damien until she decided to make her first mistake. She opened her idiotic mouth. And on top of it, the faintest hint of judgement in her voice was anything but ignored by Damien. If there was one thing he did not like was to be judged.

Damien's eyes fell upon the female with such severity that they might have popped out any second. He did not speak a word, for his face was saying everything. He did not want another den. He did not want a better, larger, golden den. And he never asked for her stupid oppinion.

"Get out of my lawn!" suddenly snarled the red dwarf, and that was when Damien went full into it. He was quick to snatch the fox by it's snout, leaving him to rely on it's claws. The entrance was wide enough for Damien's head to come in, but the rest of his body would never make it. He pulled the squeaking little beast out of the hole, and placing his paws on top he shook his head with full strength, thus breaking it's neck and leaving it's frightened wife inside with two helpless kittens to protect. Damien got several scratches from the fox, some of them deeper than he would have wanted, but they meant nothing to him. They would heal. And he'd just gotten himself a new addition to his secret collection.

Licking his bloodied lips, Damien lifted his head to look inside the den, but couldn't decide on what the rest of the fox family's fate would be.

RE: Chamber of Secrets - Cicero - November 11, 2015

i took some creative liberties in assuming that Cicero did fit in there since he's a lot smaller than Damien :3

Sheogorath heard sounds in the distance, and his ears perked up. Perhaps Cicero would have noticed first and foremost that the voice was Damien's, but Sheogorath noticed mainly the noises of violence, not who they came from. Small body came into motion and he galloped through the forest while he licked his lips, ready to get in on some of the action.

When he came into the clearing he saw Damien and the bloodied fox corpse between his jaws. Setting eyes onto the fox den, Sheogorath ducked his much smaller head and shoulders into the den, teeth snapping violently for the frightened foxes. He found purchase in the flesh of the mother first while she scratched his nose. Vicious snarls came from Sheogorath's throat as he was scratched, and with a snap he ended the fox's life.

Teeth sought for the little ones, and Sheogorath, blinded by his undiluted rage, did not even know how many of them he got as his mouth snapped all around the den, blinded by rage. Eventually the rage simmered down when there was little left of the bodies, and that was when Sheogorath found that he was stuck from the elbows up in the den; no matter how he scratched, he couldn't seem to get out of the hole he'd duck half of his body into.

RE: Chamber of Secrets - Nemesis - November 19, 2015

It had all happened in an instant. One second she had prepared to lunge at the fox herself when a flash of black and white clobbered the entire family. When the work was done, the male attempted to pull himself free of the fox hole, only to find himself securely stuck inside. Oh what a day, she mentally sighed as she subtly rolled her eyes, While it was not like her to disrespect those she just meant (on purpose) the whole situation just seemed immature. Yet, she had to remind herself that technically, they were adults.

The struggle would go no where, she could see and she was not about to leave them like this despite of uncoordinated actions. Digging around the side and bottom of the den entrance, she hoped to get enough room for Cicero to wiggle himself out. She didn't want the den to collapse on him and the well being of Damien's precious hide out was not in her best interest.

RE: Chamber of Secrets - Damien - November 22, 2015

Damien took a couple steps forward, baring his teeth at the mother fox an her kittens. Damien had decided they were too much a threat to live in Blackfeather Woods, and so, he would end their life painlessly. But someone else had been quicker, and in a flash of black and white took the matter in it's own fangs.

Screeches and growls flooded the silent forest, and in a matter of seconds the threat had been vanished. Cicero had entered the den and slaughtered the remaining foxes on his own, leaving Damien in awe. This was not something Damien expected from his brother, nor was it something that he'd seen coming. This was not normal. But Damien didn't get enough time to think through it, for his brother had gotten himself stuck in the hole before being able to come out.

Like Nemesis, Damien didn't hesitate to digging around his brother to make room for him to come out. Perhaps his interest wasn't only freeing his brother, but the contents of the den and their state were an important factor for him to want a way in.

RE: Chamber of Secrets - Cicero - November 24, 2015

Sheogorath licked the blood from his teeth and lips while he struggled to get loose. He felt his breathing quicken and moments later, consciousness faded from Sheogorath.

Mere seconds later, Cicero snapped into consciousness, eyes snapping wide open. He started trying to pull himself back, and managed fairly quickly due to his pack mates' digging efforts. Cicero rolled over backwards when he was freed, and remained on the floor looking and feeling confused; his veins pounding with adrenaline, heartbeat unsteady and breathing rushed.

RE: Chamber of Secrets - Nemesis - December 12, 2015

As the gray male came to, she looked coldly at him. The sudden turn of events passed by so quickly that his unconscious state really brung it all back. Foxes, blur, blood, stuck.. The children of Meldresi were really quite interesting.

"Are you.. okay?" She asked, mildly concerned for his well being. Was it normal for all of them to be sociopathic killers? Only Potema seemed to be mentally normal out of the three yet something told her that looks were always deceiving. Glancing behind him, she could see the bloodies mess of small bodies that littered the cave. Inside, she was kind of in awe at the male's swiftness and lack of hesitance to finish the young off. Preferably, she would have played with them a little bit then start the massacre since it was the only 'fun' she could enjoy but she liked Cicero's haste. Nonchalant was overrated when in Blackfeather.

She would have gone in to collect the bodies yet she doubted Damien would oblige to her going inside his fort, since he had been so adamant on getting it back. She wondered what he kept stored up in it, since it's survival meant a lot.

RE: Chamber of Secrets - Damien - December 16, 2015

Damien's struggles to free his brother gave results soon, and Cicero's now bloodied face came out of the den. Damien wasted no time to go right back in and dig his way inside, careful not to get caught himself to see whether his stuff was still there. The blood was everywhere, and fox parts had flown all around. It was a nasty scene, and Damien was impressed that it had been his brother who'd done all of it; but Damien's stuff was nowhere to be seen. He cursed in silence and a growl followed a frown. Those things had been so important for him growing up that he had developed a rather insane attachment to them, but now they were gone. The young wolf tried desperately to find them, digging and moving the fox bodies around, his rage started building up and frustration came soon after. There was nothing there.

With a furious snarly bark and a tantrum Damien came out of the den. Suddenly he had no interest in the hole anymore, and both the wolves that accompanied him seemed to be invisible to Damien's furious eyes. He didn't even stop to notice that Cicero was acting strangely or that Nemesis was still there. He looked distressed and anxious, looking around desperately and walking in circles.

RE: Chamber of Secrets - Cicero - December 17, 2015

"Yes," Cicero said, looking confused still, to answer her question. Damien went into the hole and Cicero watched him as he looked around, only to come out in a rage. Cicero recognised his brother's expression. "Better to leave him be," Cicero explained to his pack mate while he watched his brother furiously walking in circles.

Perhaps if he had been bulkier, Cicero'd have tried to tackle Damien and never let go until he calmed, but as things were he stood no chance. And so he cast both wolves one last glance before he started to trot away, leaving Damien to cool off while he'd sleep off his confusion.

RE: Chamber of Secrets - Damien - January 06, 2016

I was waiting for Nemesis to post, but I'm gonna go ahead and Pull Damien out!
Allie you can post once more if you want so we can archive ;)

Damien's mind was racing back and forth. How could his things, his relics be gone forever? Maybe there was a mistake, perhaps this was not his den and he had overseen the old entrance in his way here. The flood had moved pretty much everything around, and he remembered a fallen tree blocking the entrance before he could retreat the contents of his chamber of secrets. Yes, that's what was going on. That wasn't Damien's den.... And those poor foxes had been slaughtered by mistake..........

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

As soon as Damien realized he could have been wrong, his eyes went crazy trying to find the actual den, but he couldn't see anything. Perhaps if he re-traced his steps he would find it. A fallen log, that was what he was looking for now. His feet took Damien quickly away from the fox murder scene and into a mad search for something unimportant... To most.

RE: Chamber of Secrets - Nemesis - January 12, 2016

Her eyes turned to Cicero, nodding in agreement. Damien's current state was a clear message that he need time to himself to cool down. It led her to wonder if his explosive behaviour was a normal thing, though from the way Cicero responded, it was. She did not know much about the brothers, regrettably, thought she knew one day she would have to visit Cicero about the medicine Meldresi had given her. Damien, well, she had the slightest feeling that the two headstrong personalities would not get along very much as she now witnessed him in what was probably not the worst he had been.

She silently slipped away from the scene after giving a nod in a bid of farewell to Cicero. She had no interest to see how the dilemma would end, and knew that her presence would not help the situation at all. Perhaps it was a private thing, between brothers and family. All she could ponder was of the poor foxes massacre that had ironically all been for nothing. If she wasn't just an earshot away, she probably would have snickered at the fact that after all the bloodshed, his precious relics had not been found. Ah well, just another day in Blackfeather, wasn't it?
