Stay away [M] - Venus - January 16, 2016 Venus was in a nasty mood. Being in heat sucked and she couldn't do anything about it. She was near the mire, her favorite place to let off steam. Her smell probably wafted everywhere, hormones driving her off the wall. She was completely aware of her surroundings, her senses seemed to be hightend, she ears flicking at the sound of any movement. She wasn't in the mood to mess around with anyone. RE: Stay away - Xan - January 16, 2016 Since his run in not only with Cyn, but Damien as well, the boy had been trying to keep his presence on the down low. He'd taken to finding little places to hide away in during the day, and then using the night to fill his stomach and go about whatever else he felt like doing. After a long night of chasing what small mammals he could find, Xan had been pretty beat and, instead of just hiding, decided to use his day to catch up on some lost sleep. Things had been going well, too—at first anyways. Though he'd managed to slip into a deep sleep rather quickly, it'd felt like only seconds later he was jarred awake but something he didn't recognize. It was a scent that spoke to his instincts, but consciously he had no idea what was going on. It was alluring, seeming to force him to his feet and then dragged him in the direction from which it'd come. Confused but curious, Alexander did not fight the pull. He'd embraced it, keeping a steady pace as he neared whoever owned it. When he found the source, however, he was taken aback. It was a female, another member of the pack, but something seemed... strange. He could recall having seen her once during the pack hunt, but back then she hadn't carried the same scent. It made his paws itch, urging him to move closer to her, but he held back the best he could. Rather, he'd given a low chuff to obtain her attention, and then proceeded to draw closer atop stiff legs. It felt as if he was being controlled by someone other than himself, and wasn't yet sure how he could stop it. Thankfully, he'd managed to force himself to a stop before his coat could brush against her's, and he stood there just staring at her. Confusion swam in his odd gaze, almost as if he was silently asking her what she'd done to him. What type of power did she possess that could have him moving closer to her against his will? RE: Stay away - Venus - January 16, 2016 Venus whipped her head around at the noise. She didn't beat her teeth just yet, then he started to draw closer. She remained in the same spot, until he got to close. She yet a low rumble from her throat. She scooted away a bit. She kept eye contact, and flattened her ears a bit. "What do you want?" She growled. She moved her tail around herself, trying to contain the scent she couldn't hide, one no one could physically hide. She tightened her body close together, pulling her legs in, sitting up straight. She quickly grew increasingly uncomfortable for her. Males seemed to have a nose to tell them when a female was vulnerable. RE: Stay away - Xan - January 16, 2016 The boy was allowed to get closer, but once he'd overstepped some sort of boundary, he was met with a growl from deep within the woman's throat. Surprisingly, he did not challenge it. Instead he'd remained still, forcing his body to not take another step towards her no matter how badly he wanted to. Her words were almost missed, for the small movement of her tail was just enough to send another wave of the scent in his direction, calling him forward. Still, he dared not to move forward, uncertain of what exactly she was doing to him. Was it normal? No, it couldn't possibly be a common thing. No one else had arrived, no one else had been lured in by her scent. Did that make him special? Did she want him for something? His instincts once again urged him to move closer, and this time he complied. His legs were stiff as they took a few more steps in Venus' direction, his senses being lit on fire with each step taken. "What do you want?" he mimicked, certain it was she who had silently called for him. It was not his own doings that had led him there, but some sort of spell she had to have placed upon him. She wanted something from him, he was certain of it. Again, he found himself being brought to a stop, body going rigid as he met her gaze with his own. He was quiet then, waiting for whatever it was that she demanded of him. Xan wished to learn of the reasoning behind his summoning, in the hopes of a quick completion. To be placed under the hex of another was not something he was fond of, and he wanted for it to be lifted as soon as possible. RE: Stay away - Venus - January 16, 2016 Venus became obviously uncomfortable as he pulled closer. She growled louder at his mocking. "I want to be left alone." she said. Her tone was sharp. She stood up, and walked away from him. Her tail between her legs, concealing herself from his piercing eyes. She sat back down, she didn't want to be left alone, but she didn't like his attitude. When she sat, she marked a new spot where another male could track her. She realized this, and quickly stood up. She carefully made sure her tail his herself. RE: Stay away - Xan - January 16, 2016 Another growl. She was clearly pretending, feigning ignorance to the curse she'd placed upon him. Lies. The words shared, he knew them to be lies. She was messing with him, attempting to trick him into believing he was only imagining things—but he wasn't. She had summoned him, and now she would take responsibility for her actions. As she stood, his muscles tensed, eyes never leaving her own. The stare was disrupted, however, as she'd tried to leave. Her words did not keep him away, for her scent overpowered any and all verbal instructions. Follow. He needed to stick close to her. Don't let her leave. It was instincts driving him, all thoughts of reason having been stolen away. The scent of her heat invaded his very being, clouding his mind and preventing him from doing anything but obeying his primal callings. It wasn't long after before she'd sat once more, and his pace slowed until he as no longer moving. "You want something more," he insisted, though even he knew not what meaning lingered within his words. It had been the first coherent locution to reach his frontal lobe, and he'd voiced it without giving any consideration towards how it might be perceived. The Inuit's body lowered as he moved himself even closer, actions hesitant but unyielding. If permitted to get close enough, he would press his nose into the crook of her neck, before sliding it down her chest and towards her side. At that point, just as he'd reach her ribs, he would stop. The albino would look up to her face with a silent question in his eyes, but otherwise remain frozen in place until any movements were made. On the other hand, if she denied the increase in proximity, a small whine would leave his throat, seeming to beg for the distance between them to be lessened. RE: Stay away - Venus - January 16, 2016 Venus allowed him to get closer. She wasn't too worried of him making a move. He didn't want her, he was just teasing. She allowed him to move to her neck. She felt him move down her body, then stopped. She wasn't thinking clearly. She got up once more, a worried look on her face. "No.. No, no stop. I'm not thinking clearly. No, you have to leave." She said looking back at him. Her eyes were clouded with fear. She quickly forgot about her tail placement, and fixed it. She shook her head, and took a step back. Her ears flat against her head, trying to look intimidating. Hormones made her core hot, and she tried to move further away. She wasn't thinking clearly, almost like a foreign body has taken over her. RE: Stay away - Mikasi - January 16, 2016 throws in this lil' butt
Today could have been a regular day. Just working from dawn until dusk. That is if it wasn't for one little magical thing. Mikasi had captured a scent while walking. So teasing, so alluring. Pure instinct had told him to follow it. And follow he did. There was a sort of urgency to his pace and everything was a blur. The only detected thing was that smell that could put any male in a trance. Closer and closer he approached until the source of the scent was visible. And that source was Venus, someone he didn't expect. It made his stomach tie in knots when he saw her. What he didn't wish to see, however, was another male. A younger stranger with a snowy coat and fierce eyes. His hackles raised and his lips peeled back in a snarl as he approached the two. For now, he was a distance away, but by each passing moment he became closer and closer. RE: Stay away - Xan - January 16, 2016 May wanna slap a 'mature' onto this lmao No idea what Xan is gonna do
He was granted the closeness he knew she wanted from him, and was quick to press himself against her. Worry filled her facial features and fear clouded her gaze. The boy was further confused. Was this not what she wanted? The reason for her having lured him there? No, it had to be. She was just playing games, tampering with his mind because she knew he was under her spell. She knew he could bring her no harm, that he couldn't lash out at her—the charm he'd been placed under prevented either actions from being even remotely possible. Again though, words fell from her tongue. Insisting his presence was not what she wanted, but he knew better. He knew she was lying, which only seemed to add onto the allure of it all. Each second that ticked by made it harder and harder for him to allow any space between them, seeking to fulfill the desire behind his having been summoned. Ears laid flat against her crown, but he felt naught even a hint of intimidation. There was no room for such feelings, not with her right there in front of him. Distance was placed between the two bodies, rather than being lessened. The action displeased him, and Xan was quick to make up for it by letting his own frame lurch forward. He did not move for her neck this time, but went straight for her side. If she didn't move, he would not stop. His nose would press itself deeper into her fur, before tentatively sliding it along the length of her figure. This time, he would stop only when he'd reached her thigh, and then he would wait for the opportunity to move even further. It was the first time he'd touched another individual in such a manner, and couldn't help but enjoy it. The feel of her coat against his face was not as repulsive as he'd originally believed all forms of touch to be, and he soon found himself yearning to leave not even an inch of space between them. From behind there came a snarl, but it had not originated from the woman. It was a male, someone the boy had yet to officially meet, and he was drawing closer by the second. Xan's ears fell back and he let a growl reverberate from deep within his throat, the sound drifting into the open space long before his own lips curled back. Even if Venus had not been there, his reaction would have been the same—he'd been threatened so, in turn, he must threaten the one who had dared to challenge his authority. The need to defend his honour only seemed to be amplified with the girl's being there, however, but for why that was he'd yet to figure out. RE: Stay away - Venus - January 16, 2016 Venus purred for a moment, she allowed him to press into her. She shuddered and moaned, then snapped at Xan. She growled, and let her tail stand up, showing dominance. A huge mistake when she was in heat. She longed to have him continue, but she had a mate. She wasn't thinking clearly. She was surprised at the new face. Mikasi might have saved her, or ruined her. She started walking back, still forgetting her tail was up, allowing her scent to escape faster. This was bad, this wouldn't turn out good. There was no good outcome of this. She had to stay, she had no choice. She was a healer, and if someone got hurt, she had to be there. RE: Stay away [M] - Mikasi - January 16, 2016 He didn't like how this kid was acting nor the fact that he was even here. Mikasi desperately wanted Xan to go in order to be left alone, but it wouldn't be that easy. They were both in a hypnotic state, both needing the same thing. But the older male wasn't willing to share. He wasn't to intimidated by the boy's reaction. is snake-like movements didn't linger. Closer and closer he crept, making urea to keep both in sight. He saw Venus trying to escape from the corner of his eyes. H's attention turned from Xan to Venus, moving quicker to close the distance. When close enough, he would make an attempt to run his tongue over her face then proceed t the neck. All the while his senses were on alert for the younger male. RE: Stay away [M] - Xan - January 16, 2016 A sound he was entirely unfamiliar with had been offered up from the female, but it hadn't lasted long. In a matter of seconds, he'd gone from feeling welcomed to the woman snapping at him, a growl substituting whatever sound she'd made prior. Her tail rose to show dominance, something he didn't enjoy witnessing. It was common for the males to let the females take on the more dominant role come the time for mating, but a sliver of his pride managed to break through the hypnotized state he'd been placed under. That led to his own tail rising and eyes narrowing, but his gaze had softened back up quickly as a whine escaped him, apologizing. He wanted to follow her as she began backing up, but the nuisance that was the other male decided he wasn't yet ready to get away from them. The stranger grew closer, but seemed to have a larger interest in the female than he did in the boy. When Mikasi decided to make a move towards Venus, the young Inuit was quick to intercept. He'd been quick to station himself between the other two, eyes facing the man. Xan's hackles raised and he flashed his teeth at the other with a snarl, warning him to stay back. His tail was raised high over his back and his ears were shoved forward, letting it be known that he was the more dominant of the two. Having reached the woman first, he felt himself to have some sort of claim over her, and wasn't about to let someone else swoop in and have their curse removed before his own had been. RE: Stay away [M] - Venus - January 16, 2016 Venus felt a pang of sympathy when Xan whined. She looked at him with forgiving eyes. Venus looked up at Mikasi when he came over and licked her neck. She moaned again, and then pulled away angrily. She was confused, and she didn't know how to escape. Xan intercepted this quickly, making her sigh in relief. The two would keep each other entertained for a bit. Xan's act was very brave, she credited him for that. The whine still stuck in her head as she felt worse and worse. RE: Stay away [M] - Mikasi - January 16, 2016 His growl grew louder when Xan intervened. He was surely not making the job easy and Mikasi wouldn't make it easy either. The boy's stance was in a more dominate form, something he didn't like. He was not about to be out done by some inexperienced child. Right then Mikasi decided to get rid of him someway. His hackles rose to full capacity, his tail sticking up and ears forward. He started moving forward, not showing signs of stopping. The goal was to back the youngster away. His eyes were challenging and he dared his stranger to question his authority. RE: Stay away [M] - Xan - January 16, 2016 Every so often, his ears would swivel back to ensure Venus was still there, but his main focused rested upon the male. Mikasi, too, took on a stance signifying dominance, earning him a warning growl from the younger male. The Inuit was young, inexperienced in many things, and didn't even know the cause behind his attraction to the woman, but hell would freeze over sooner than he'd submit to the agouti fellow. His stance widened as the space between the males grew smaller, preparing himself so he couldn't be knocked over. Behind him, his tail lashed about like a cat's, but never did it lower. Alexander took a stiff legged step towards the older male, eyes meeting his as he intentionally challenged the elder. The way he held himself practically screamed for the other to back down, to back away, and he would hold his position until his demands were met. Venus had called for Xan, not the nameless stranger, and so there was no way in hell he'd even consider handing her over to him. The closer the other got, the louder the warrior's snarling became, and he'd even gone so far as to snap at the muzzle of the approaching threat. RE: Stay away [M] - Venus - January 16, 2016 Venus watched as the males drew closer. She was very intrigued to find the outcome. She walked around them, slowly inching away. She wasn't going to flee, but she wanted to keep her distance from harms way. Who knew what these two would get into. She kept her tail low and her body neutral. This fight could determine who was stronger, so she was what to see who won. Would it be age that determined? Would it be passion? RE: Stay away [M] - Mikasi - January 16, 2016 More vicious growls rose from deep inside him when the male stiffened up. What would it take to get the squirt out? His patience was running very thin. Fangs cried out to show him a thing ore two, but he refrained to do so. No matter what tension there was now, he knew that he was part of the pack. No bodily harm should come to him. Xan's stance clearly screeched 'back up', but he would not do so. Nor did he wish to continue this stand-off. He just wanted to get what he came here for, so he attempted to slip forward to be closer to Venus. RE: Stay away [M] - Xan - January 16, 2016 Where Mikasi was concerned about not physically harming a fellow pack mate, the boy was not. He cared not what consequences his actions would be met with, for he was far too busy living in the moment. As the man attempted to slip past him, to move closer to Venus, the albino lunged forward. No longer was he playing on the defensive side of things, as that had long since proven to be useless. He'd decided to take action, his jaws widening as he neared the male. The purpose of doing so was to clamp his jaws around his muzzle, correcting his defiant behavior and further showing who was in charge. If he were to succeed in doing so, a growl would rise from the depths of his throat and he'd jerk his head, insisting the agouti man submit to him. If, by chance, he happened to miss, then he would continue to try and weasel his way back between the adults. Things had been going smoothly until Mikasi had arrived, and Alexander was determined to show the other male he couldn't just do whatever he pleased. If the tables had been turned, perhaps the Inuit would have walked away already, respecting the unspoken claim placed upon the female. Even if it went against everything his instincts told him to do, he would have done so simply because he could have then understood that he had no right to impose. Mikasi, on the other hand, didn't seem the grasp that concept, which further infuriated the young wolf. RE: Stay away [M] - Venus - January 16, 2016 Venus grew weary as Mikasi drew closer to her. This was immediately wiped away when Xan stopped him, thankfully. Venus moved back, her body language now more scared than angry. Her tail still lie between her legs, hiding her entrance, and hopefully, covering the smell of hormones. Her body now crouched, and ears down. Fear scent now rolled off of her. [ooc] Yep! @Xan @Mikasi I will have Venus bolt away. RE: Stay away [M] - Mikasi - February 12, 2016 omg, I'm so sorry I forgot about this .-. I'll have him leave.
Mikasi jerked his head out of the way just before the teeth met his muzzle. Now the stranger had taken it too far. While the older male wanted Venus for his own, he definitely did not want to risk getting in a scuffle, which could lead to Burke finding out. And if that happened they'd both be in trouble for sure. With that thought in mind, Mikasi backed away. It wasn't in a form of submission however, he still had his lips curled and stance tall. He turned to leave, leaving the boy to do his own thing. If he wanted to be punished, then that's his fault. RE: Stay away [M] - Xan - February 18, 2016 His teeth had missed their mark, biting air instead of flesh. He was quick to recover, keeping himself stationed between the two adults. His gaze remained glued to the other male, tail stiff and high as he offered his silent demands. They were eventually answered, too, but only halfway. The stranger had not submitted to him, but he had backed off. While he'd sought both results, he was satisfied by having reached at least one. It was something, a start. So, with that, a snarl once again took over his features, watching as the elder male took his leave. He was glad he had gone, that no longer would he have to deal with his unwelcome presence. He could now focus on answering the female's wishes, in the hopes that she might lift from him her hex. Xan turned to Venus, still demonstrating a more dominant stance. As he took a step towards her, however, his posture softened and he released a whine, requesting her closeness. Little did he know that he would end up with the exact opposite. RE: Stay away [M] - Venus - February 21, 2016 Venus let him get close, just for a moment to confuse him before dashing off into the forest. She didn't hear his footsteps, so she was in the clear as she kept moving. Hopefully they would meet up in future, and possibly explain what had happened to Xan. |
