Romeo where art thou? - Amara - February 14, 2016 @Aaron just started another thread up, but don't feel stressed to reply :D Amara loped through the snow, bouncing quite happily through the cold stuff. The truth was, she liked someone. Well, more specifically, Aaron. And she couldn't help it. Though at times he was a tad bit self righteous, she was sure he had a good heart, and that was all she could ask for. Soon, their pack would form, and she would finally settle into the teekon. "Aaron!" She called out for him, though she wasn't sure why. Shrugging it off, she began to wander a bit farther. But where was she? She had not been in this region before, much less know her surroundings that well.
"Aaron?" She called out again, just a little louder while her head swiveled around. The meadow was serene, yet she couldn't help but to panic. No, calm down this won't help, she tried to coach herself. She rarely panicked, but now she was committed, she had a future that was going to be set, getting lost now couldn't happen. RE: Romeo where art thou? - Tantalus - February 17, 2016 The man heard her frantic calls from not too far away in the woods. He hadn't been following her specifically, but many of the wolves of his soontobe pack he felt the need to keep tabs on- they were small and without proper borders, he'd be devastated to see anything happen to any of them. Amara had begun to wander, which made the pale brute frown. She was his first pick, the prized woman of the forest... Surely she was not running off, especially not from him. Soon his theories were provided an answer- it seemed she was lost.
Striding toward her gallantly, Aaron gave a soft bark to signal his presence. "You called, love?" he woofed, meaning nothing but casual flirtation by his name to her. "The territory is not large enough for you?" he then teased, rounding to her front. She was headed in the wrong direction, he made sure she made no further movements that way.
RE: Romeo where art thou? - Amara - March 07, 2016 She whipped around at the sound of Aaron's voice, letting out a breath in the process. She wasn't stupid, she just occasionally had directional issues, like any other normal person in a new territory. There were others now, new wolves who had decided to follow them but they were not yet complete. No matter, they were united and that's what truly mattered.
"Oh no, I'm fine!" She insisted, ignoring the fact that he had called her 'my love'. He stood in front of her, signaling that the territory was in fact, the opposite direction. "I was just.. exploring!" Her voice wavered, for she was no good at lying . Truly,, she did not want him to think she was incapable of fending for herself, that she could not be guided without his figure. No, she was quite capable by herself, thank you very much. No matter what Aaron thought. With her head held high, she stalked past him, quite strong in her step. Her maneuver around him was unusual for her morals, but she would not let him hold a possessive dominion over her, she was not an object that one could just take .
RE: Romeo where art thou? - Tantalus - March 07, 2016 Her demeanor changed almost immediately, and the man only gave her a smirk of response. She appeared headstrong now, and any frantic calls for his name had been forgotten by the woman. She may act independent now, but he would not forget that she had called for him, and him alone.
"Exploring?" he continued, pursuing the delicate fae stubbornly as always. He beauty was different, and he was lured by it almost indefinitely- he could not help it. "Have you found anything of interest, Amara?" he asked, lengthening his strides to walk beside her. He was much larger than she was, but they walked side-by-side for as long as she would let him, and he felt the pride of their unity in those moments.
RE: Romeo where art thou? - Amara - March 18, 2016 She nodded stiffly at his question, as her nature would not allow her to simply ignore his efforts. That would be mean, she pointed out in her mind. Was it so weird that she could do whatever she liked without him? Yes, she was exploring, and there was nothing immature about it! She did not realise she had said all this out loud until she felt her jaw snapping shut again. Her eyes widened at the outburst, but he just made her so.. furious and crazy at the same time!
"I'm sorry, yes I am and I have," She continued, over the initial shock. No, she was her own person and she could say whatshe liked and that was simply that. "Since I will be Rosings Naturalist and Medic," She began, setting goal for what she self proclaimed to become. It was a change in attitude, but in a way, it was refreshing. "I'm looking for herbs not found in our forest, so that I can replant them where it can be easily accessible," She explained, a moment of forgetting her stoic form.
"You can help, if you'd like," She commented, giving him an option to work or be disposed of. It was not her goal to be bossy and rude, but she needed to be strong. Stronger.
RE: Romeo where art thou? - Tantalus - March 19, 2016 The man grinned, his tail wagging with interest as the woman proclaimed her specialty. "I too am looking to be a Naturalist," he responded vaguely, wondering how much Amara knew about him. He shook out his pale coat, afterwards standing tall beside her. "I have nothing better to do," he then told her, eyeing curiously. He padded closer to her with his ears perked, head tilting as he watched the brown female. "Please," he urged, "Lead the way."
