Welcome to your home - Cogitemus - February 19, 2016

@Malice @Renn @Sage @Veritas @Issun @Esteban @Mitanni @Veritas

They have now claimed the beautiful Phantom Hollow, and this gave the usually cold man reason to bring his pack together. He tilted his head back to let out a howl, summoning all of the pack. He stood above the ground on a large fallen log that stood tall for him to talk to the pack to. He had a game planned, or a party at least. The pack would enjoy it very much, at least he hoped. He knew Malice would pop up fairly quickly at the sound of his howl. He waited until the entire pack gathered, before giving instructions.

RE: Welcome to your home - Malice - February 19, 2016

Malice was just refreshing the borders as the call from her lover entered her ears. She lifted her leg up once more to finish her work, before turning and running to the place she thought the call came from.

Upon arriving, she saw a big log, her lover on top of it. She smiled happily, slowly making her way up next to him on the log to wait for the others. She gave him a few licks on his cheek as a greeting, her throat feeling a little soar from all the talking and howling she had done the past day or so. Maybe Veritas could advise her some medicine, but for now it was alright. She raised her tail, just a tiny bit below Cogitemus' one, and lifted her muzzle up a bit. She hoped their followers had all heard the call and would soon be arriving. It seemed Cog had something in store for them.

RE: Welcome to your home - Mitanni - February 19, 2016

As much as she liked the eerie quiet of the forest, Mitanni was finding it difficult to relax. She wandered, pacing through the trees and staring at every crooked branch and shadow that she passed. She hoped eventually it would begin to feel like home, but maybe it was still too soon for that yet.

The loud, deep-toned howl of Malice's mate--the other alpha--rang out through the forest, stopping Mitanni in her tracks so she could listen. Ears perked, and with curiosity bleeding through her discomfort the mottled brown wolf hurried to answer.

She found them together, Malice and her mate, Cogitemus, both of which stood atop a fallen log. Eyeing them both through a curious stare, Mitanni approached with a relaxed but submissive posture and stood, ready to listen.

RE: Welcome to your home - Renn - February 19, 2016

Renn slipped through the shadowing trees, eyes alert and ears pricked for any possible signs of prey. So far, only small game had made a slight appearance though maybe the winter snow had subdued their activity in some way. She shook her head, leaving the concern for later, and continued to pad forward. The call of the dark king drew the female onwards and soon she could make out the trails of Malice and another pack mate the hadn't spoken to yet. She emerged into the clearing, swishing her tail in greeting and dipping her head to the midnight royals before relaxed onto her haunches near the log.

RE: Welcome to your home - Sage - February 19, 2016

Sage arrived quickly after her Alpha called, and made her way towards it. Once reaching the howl, she noticed Malice and two other wolves in the pack already there. Slightly disappointed she didn't come sooner, the dark fae moved forward. Holding a submissive stance towards her two leaders, but held a still strong posture and demeanor. What did he have in store for them? Ooh, she hoped it was exciting. Perhaps a hunt? Or a bonding activity? Probably no, oh well. It didn't bother her whether it would be thrilling or not, if the alpha spoke for them to do something she would do it.

RE: Welcome to your home - Veritas - February 19, 2016

Veritas had been herb hunting (again) when she heard the call, setting down a bunch of plants and trotting off to the area. She came in, a relaxed look on her face as always - but this time, she carried a small sort of grin, at least. Like she was proud of herself (and she was). She had successfully found something more than a dead plant in those woods, and she was pretty pleased.

The first thing she noticed was Malice, having a calm fondness for the Alpha. She looked mildly irritated, as if something was wrong. Then, she licked the other man's cheek instead of greeting him as she usually would. Veritas would have to check up on her later. Only having known Malice for a few days, she wasn't too sure of her patterns yet.

Making her way to the log, she muttered in a Low voice, so only Maloce could hear. "See me after this, I need to make sure you're fine." Veritas didn't stay to judge the woman's reaction, only Long enough to make sure her message had been heard and received. Then, she leapt off and retreated somewhere where she could go looking in peace, but still near the other wolves

RE: Welcome to your home - Esteban - February 20, 2016

Esteban heard the howl and made his way through the eerie looking territory to the gathering. It could eventually feel like home, but for now he had to be around other wolves to not succumb to the weird feeling in his gut when he was walking alone.

He came to the meeting a little later than some of the others, which didn't bother him all too much. He shot Mitanni a wink, then proceeded to sit with a relaxed but still submissive posture, ready for anything. Esteban looked 'round again at the colors of the wolves gathered. It amused him that he was practically a light in the dark comparatively.

RE: Welcome to your home - Veritas - February 22, 2016

The dark fae loped over to the pretty boy winking at Mitanni, plopping herself down by his side. No matter what foolish idiots thought of her actions or speech, there was an incredibly mischievous wolf waiting inside, leaping to take charge and mercilessly prank everybody in the pack. Oh, she had so many plans, but those would have to wait...

"I'm sure you know me, but who are you?" A casual glance thrown the male's way, a twitch of her ears and a flick of her tail. Veritas kept her eyes focused on Malice and the jester-king, though her attention was not in the least on them at all. Although... She was going to scream at the alphess later, then force medicine down her throat.

RE: Welcome to your home - Cogitemus - February 24, 2016

The man watched over them. "Well, first of all I hope you enjoy your new home," He began. "I thought it would be fun to have a little game, if that sounds good to everyone?" he asked, eyeing over the pack members.

RE: Welcome to your home - Mitanni - February 27, 2016

Her amber gaze flickered about as the rest of the pack began to file in. She recognized them for the most part, though only one seemed to offer her any sort of recognition in return. Esteban looked at odds amid the dark coats of his pack mates, but he didn't seem perturbed by it, offering her a wink as he took his seat. Mitanni blinked, surprised, but smiled faintly all the same,  sobering when Veritas sat beside him. Still off put by the healer, she returned her attention to Malice and Cogitemus and kept it there as she sat.

Cogitemus addressed them all, speaking of hopes that they were settling well and mentioning a possible game that they would participate in. Being unfamiliar with pack life, at least as a fully aware adult, Mitanni glanced about wondering if this was normal but listened closely, wanting to hear more about this proposed game.
