One Step Closer - Mazi - February 22, 2016 For @Nadie
I am doing a little PP by controlling Nadie a little bit in this post to get them to the sparring area. If this is not okay I would be glad to change my post. :) Spar Dice Rolls ((Friendly)): /roll1d10 for one of these options below: 1-4: Failure 5-7: Deflecting a blow previous blow (If nothing happens previously to deflect roll again) 7-9: A perfect hit on the opponent 10: You may pin the opponent and deflect to their next blow only instantly ((If you want to change the dice rolls feel free too Kandice, private message me and I will gladly change the dice rolls)) Mazi padded through the Redhawk Caldera with Nadie excitement worming through her. “Have you ever done a spar before?” Mazi asked Nadie curious. The agouti female paused in her steps surveying the area the two came upon before deciding it was perfect and she liked it. “This area seems okay? What do you think Nadie? Mazi asked. The two now stood on flatter land in the caldera. Mazi stretched, warming up her muscles for the coming up friendly spar between her and Nadie. Her tail wagged excitedly as she awaited Nadie’s response. RE: One Step Closer - Nadie - February 22, 2016 I'm fine with the dice rolls although I'm not sure how to use them so maybe you could explain that to me?
Nadie smiled at her friend,"I was one of my pack's strongest warriors but no I have not faught for fun. I will not hurt you though." She didn't plan on actually injuring Mazi, just maybe aiming to get a few hits in. "It's a good place." She stretched her body out, loosening he muscles before moving to face Mazi but away from her reach. "Ready when you are,"she commented, her face serious for once. RE: One Step Closer - Mazi - February 24, 2016 Read the top section and it will tell you here. Then roll here :) Of course my roll failed me, so it’s time to make a fool of Mazi! Yay! xD Mazi rolled a 2 Mazi lashed her tail. “I’m ready.” She replied. Then tried to leap at her friend and pin her, but when Mazi leapt, she stumbled when she tripped on a twig. The girl ended up doing a face plant. The agouti female lay on the ground for a few seconds. All she could think was: What in the world just happened? Wow... I really made a fool of my myself. Mazi stumbled back to her paws, still wide eyed and startled. Surprised she had just face plant instead of pinning Nadie. It had seemed so easy in her imagination! Yet she knew the real world was not only her what she could do in her imagination. She stood still for a moment, momentarily surprised and shocked. A perfect moment for Nadie to take Mazi down... RE: One Step Closer - Nadie - February 24, 2016 I rolled a 9 lol
Nadie chuckled at Mazi when she completely missed her shot and face planted into a snow bank. Trotting over she stopped next to her, checking to make sure she was okay before striking. She was careful not to hurt her friend, grabbing her by the scruff and tossing her so that she was pulled out of the snow bank and landed nearby. I think this counts as a hit?
RE: One Step Closer - Mazi - February 25, 2016 Mazi rolled an 8! Yay! Finally the dice likes me! :D
Mazi felt herself beginning lifted and then thrown to the ground. She quickly jumped back on to her paws ready to defend herself with her own attack, little dazed at first as she stood, but that did not last for long as she got raced at Nadie flying a slight wide fly through her pelt in the short distance. She rammed in Nadie, though she was careful not to hurt the other female, she tried to ram into Nadie just hard enough to knock the other female over. She hoped it would work to as she felt herself colliding with Nadie. Determination in her pale gray gaze. RE: One Step Closer - Nadie - February 26, 2016 7 let me know if I need to change anything
Nadie stumbled back from the shove, her legs slipping on the snow as she crashed into the ground. With a huff she conceded it as a good hit. She stood and prowler around Mazi faking as if she would sweep her hind legs from beneath her. With Mazi distracted she instead rammed her shoulder into her side, bumping her as she had done to Nadie a moment ago. RE: One Step Closer - Mazi - February 26, 2016 Mazi rolled a 5! Not to shabby...
You might want to change your post so it doesn’t say Mazi lay sprawled out, since I rolled a defense move to deflect. :) Mazi yelped as she began to slip, but then felt herself catch her fall by using her tail to help balance her out and digging her paws firmly into the ground. Mazi gave out a low, but friendly and teasing growl, as she waited for the next attack to happen. RE: One Step Closer - Nadie - February 27, 2016 She growled back friendly as she ran towards Mazi. Her intentions had been to slam right into her, maybe thwack her on the side with her paw. Instead she hit a slick patch of ice that she hadn't noticed amongst the snow. She went down heavily hitting her chin against the ice. With an annoyed groan she got to her feet. Now she knew how Mazi had felt when she failed earlier. 2
RE: One Step Closer - Mazi - February 27, 2016 Mazi Rolls a 7!
Mazi took advantage of Nadie’s slip and slid. As Nadie stood back up Mazi instantly leaped at the other female. Intending to pummel her down into the snow, with force, although of course not enough force to hurt Nadie. The agouti female felt her paws touch Nadie’s shoulders and she felt her pulse speed up as she felt this was a perfect hit. RE: One Step Closer - Nadie - February 29, 2016 7
She felt Mazi's paws before she felt the impact as she was shoved back to the ground. With a grunt she stood once more, not completely rising. Instead she crouched as if she were hunting before launching herself at Mazi. She tackled the other female by the legs in a perfect strike. RE: One Step Closer - Mazi - February 29, 2016 Mazi rolled a 6!
Mazi felt energy pulsing through her. She was ready... as she felt Nadie land down on her legs. She twisted her body and sprang forward, escaping Nadie’s grasp. She then lashed her tail awaiting the next attack, meanwhile planning her own quietly to herself. RE: One Step Closer - Nadie - March 01, 2016 10
Nadie caught herself against the snow, not allowing herself to slip once more and be vulnerable to another hit. What Mazi had failed to notice is that she was in the exact same ice patch Nadie had slipped on before. This was her undoing. She feigned a hit on her legs, as if she would tackle them again. When Mazi shifted she threw herself against the other she wolf, pinning her by the throat with teeth. Careful not to actually hurt her, she moved away before the she wolf could fight back or retaliate. RE: One Step Closer - Mazi - March 01, 2016 Mazi rolled a 2!
Mazi dashed at Nadie ready to take back the lead of the spar... and well maybe she did things a little... too fast. As Mazi ran she slipped on the ice patch she had accidentally happened upon. Letting out a startled leap as she slipped backward and fell. Mazi laughed a little at her little mistake, as she pushed herself back onto her paws. “Come at me, I’m ready.” Mazi sneered playfully and teasingly to Nadie. The agouti female lashed her tail, getting ready to attempt to counter Nadie’s next attack if she could. RE: One Step Closer - Nadie - March 02, 2016 7
She nodded and lunged forward at Mazi's request. She raised a paw, swinging it through the air to thump it against Mazi's nose. It wasn't gentle enough to be taken as playful but not hard enough to hurt for very long. At the most it would throb for a few moments. RE: One Step Closer - Mazi - March 03, 2016 Mazi rolled a 6!
Mazi saw Nadie’s blow coming and she was ready. She leaped sideways, avoiding the blow with efficiency. She was momentarily proud of herself for avoiding the blow, but she knew that attacks could always be thrown out again. She slunk into a defensive crouch, ready. RE: One Step Closer - Nadie - March 04, 2016 2 Ah crap :P
She paced around Mazi waiting for her attack, tail lashing in anticipation. She failed to notice that she left her side open for attack, she was waiting. Waiting for Mazi to attack, she went on the defensive too much. She was becoming predictable. Little did she know she was going to fail when Mazi attacked. Let me know if I need to change this. I'm running out of attack ideas. Thought I'd Let Mazi come to her
RE: One Step Closer - Mazi - March 05, 2016 Well... Mazi failed. That was for sure. She leaped in the air, feeling determination pulse through her, then something bad happened... all of her determine was lost, because she accidentally looked into the sun... which made her loose her focus of course. Mazi plummeted to the ground with a yelp, ponding into the earth, feeling dirt fill her maw. She stood up and arched her back, coughing all the dirt up with a shudder. Then her focus locked back playfully back onto the spar. She repositioned herself in a defense stance, waiting for Nadie’s attack, if Nadie did attack. Your post is fine, we can wrap this spar up soon too if you want. :)
RE: One Step Closer - Nadie - March 05, 2016 I'm gonna go ahead and wrap it up. Poor Mazi ate the dirt XD
Nadie rolled her shoulders, padding over to her friend in an obviously nonthreatening way. "I think we're done for today." Both girls would no doubt be covered in bruises come tomorrow. Nadie even had a few cuts here and there. Nothing was seriously injured so she pushed against Mazi's side gently, a way of giving her a high five for wolves. "Maybe we could do this again sometime, though." RE: One Step Closer - Mazi - March 06, 2016 Mazi pushed herself to her paws and shook out her pelt as dirt went flying everywhere. Luckily none hit Nadie. She nodded.”Yeah. I’m worn out.” She remarked. “I sure am going to feel this tomorrow.” She added in a playful groan. “Should we do this again next week or something maybe?” The agouti female asked her gray, silvery friend, then gave her tail and excited wag. “It was pretty fun. I have got to admit. You were so good!” Mazi informed Nadie with enthusiasm. RE: One Step Closer - Nadie - March 07, 2016 "Yeah sure,"she agreed with a smile. She thanked Mazi shyly, had she been able to she would have blushed as red as a tomato. She didn't think she was that good, she had much improvement to make but she was thankful for Mazi's kind words. "You were pretty great too. Good job," the girl had lasted longer than many of her opponents male or female. She might've bested Nadie if not for her bulking muscle mass. Nadie had always had a more masculine build, being stronger than most females and many males too. |
