What is the maximum breeding age? - Lucani - February 04, 2016 Question! And I'd be happy to just Google it, but was wondering if WOLF has its own policy on the matter~ At what age, if any, are wolves no longer able to breed? Do the females go through a menopause of sorts? RE: Frequently Asked Questions - Farstep - February 21, 2016 @Lucani Sorry, I think we all missed this! Feel free to tag an admin to get their attention if a question is going unanswered! We've never defined an age, but since our characters can live to be 9 years old, I would say 7 years old is a safe cutoff. Any character less than 7 years old can still breed, any character greater than 7 years old can no longer breed. Some characters may lose their fertility earlier if you want them to, but no character greater than 7 years old should be able to produce offspring any longer. Thanks v much, makes sense to me! ^__^ RE: What is the maximum breeding age? - Warbone - April 19, 2016 Saw this topic on the Online list, and thought I might ask, is this just a rule for WOLF? Since actual wolves "never [reach] reproductive senescence (menopause)". So, despite the fact that characters cannot be older than nine years old, they aren't allowed have a pup after the age of seven, even though they realistically could? RE: What is the maximum breeding age? - Wildfire - April 21, 2016 Yeah, this is the cutoff specifically for our game as decided among the admin team. :) Keeps things, y'know, interesting. *ehhe* |
