Come out and face me, if ya think yer hard enough - Hush - February 28, 2016

All welcome, but especially those joining Depp's group (may be used for Mercenary trade)

There was a change in the northern wind. It bothered Hush, because it smelled of wolves, but he could not remember if there was a pack of wolves north of them. Unnerved by the thought that another pack was gathering so close to Sleeping Dragon's borders, Hush loped north one fine late winter afternoon, following his nose to the large forest that marked the northern end of Teekon Wilds, slowing to a halt at the edge of Killdeer Rest, staring at the immense, boulder, cleaved in half, the one that marked Broken Boulder. His nose twitched rapidly, smelling now the distinct scent of a pack waiting to form. The thought of it enraged Hush, and he stood there, fuming, wondering if any of this proto-pack would come and meet him here.

RE: Come out and face me, if ya think yer hard enough - Goober - February 29, 2016

As instructed, Goober had been looking for any sign of the wolves from Redtail Rise, and he repeated the names "Saena" and "Reek" to himself on a regular basis so he wouldn't forget them. Smash would have been difficult to forget, even if Goober had tried. But enough about his mission, he had a mission to attend to! Today, he came across a giant boulder, broken right down the middle. Not only that, but a rusty-colored wolf. "Hey!" he beamed, bounding toward the stranger in a friendly manner. "Do you know anything about Redtail Rise? Or Reek? Or Saena? My friend is looking for them!"

Jolting, Hush looked towards the wolf who had disturbed him, a mix of colors, with brown eyes; the typical wolf. But it was his questions that made him stand out in Hush's mind. Redtail Rise? Saena? Reek? Hush never heard those names in his life (except Reek, which he had heard directed towards someone's smell many a time) and the only answer he could give (barring his eternal silence) was a gentle shrug and the shake of a head. Nothing more.

Goober wasn't an idiot, even if he was a bit more jovial than most of his species. So when the stranger shrugged and shook his head, Goober assumed the stranger had no intention of helping. Which, of course, was totally fine. Smash hadn't even wanted him to help, but Goober hadn't had anything better to do. This wolf surely had a million and one duties to attend to.

"Oh... okay," Goober replied, wagging his tail but drooping it a bit more than before. "Thanks anyway!" Not wishing to waste his time stopping in one place for too long, Goober began to trot off. Two steps into it, though, an idea dawned on him. "If you do see Reek or Saena, tell them Smash is looking for them, and she'll be at Redtail Rise in a few days."

Confident that the stranger was a good samaritan, Goober continued on his way, assuming that Smash, Reek, and Saena would find each other somehow. As long as he kept spreading the word, somebody was bound to know where the two lived.

The request amused Hush slightly as he nodded in response, watching the creature go. He could never tell this "Reek and Saena" about "Smash"... it would be one more thing that he would take to his grave. Hush wasn't really bothered by the thought of it, for it didn't concern him. He could do nothing about it, after all.

Quickly forgetting about the situation, Hush turned his attention back to the Broken Boulder, his anger focused on the structure and the scent emanating from it. It frustrated him, unnerved him, that they would be so close to his own pack's territory. But he could do nothing of it. That was for his Queens to decide.
