at the end of the night we'll keep on going - Eshe RIP - March 15, 2016

Open to anyone but looking for @Aurora

With word from her beau that they had another among them, Eshe kissed him quickly then went to find this she-wolf. Aurora, he had informed her. And she was eager to meet and get to know this Aurora. She trusted her mate had thoroughly vetted her, because Scimitar was as thorough in all things he did as he was pragmatic... Eshe just wanted to get to know her, because Aurora was her own subordinate and ideally would become a friend, too.

So Eshe moved through the coniferous woods. She could bound through the paths she knew well without stop now, which was exhilarating for her. Eshe loved to just run; she was made for it, her build sleek and narrow and her limbs long. The svelte woman sprinted through the wood, following a thin scent trail of a rabbit. Eshe thought she'd bring the girl a 'welcome home' rabbit... but maybe she'd run into Aurora herself along the way!

RE: at the end of the night we'll keep on going - Aurora - March 17, 2016

Aurora was exploring the area on her own at this point. She had not much of an idea of where to actually start her new life. She knew not a soul and was not quite sure how they would react to a wolf with so pale a coat as hers. She was obviously not from the area. The prey was slightly different than it was back home. The prey was fatter, marginally slower and much easier to find than in the thick and deep snow drifts back home. Home. She kept calling that place she had abandoned home. It wasn't, not any more.

Aurora shook her ivory fur almost as if ridding herself of her previous thoughts. She lifted her snout into the air, delicately searching the area for any wolves. Ah. She smelt someone. She took off in the general direction, happily stretching her lithe form as she did so, but not directly for them in case they were busy. If they wished they could easily find her however, for she strategically manipulated her location so any possible wind would carry her scent to them. She didn't wish to startle any money. That would be a bad way to make friends now wouldn't it?

RE: at the end of the night we'll keep on going - Eshe RIP - March 21, 2016

Eshe herself had met many pale wolves in her lifetime. Her sister was one of them, but she was mottled, so perhaps it didn't count. She had a very old relative down the line who had been white as snow... two, as she thought of it. No, three. Three that she had been told of. The wind told her of the newest Neverwinter wolf and their whereabouts, so Eshe followed the breeze. Nevermind the rabbit, she'd grab that later. With the scent of Aurora as strong as it was was, this felt like the better thing to do with her time at present.

Sooner rather than later Eshe happened upon Aurora, the scent leading right where it ought to of. Eshe moved through the wood until the pale woman was right in front of her, and she eagerly greeted her with a lifted, waving tail and a grin. Hey! Eshe began; her head was held high, telling of her place within the pack. She did not delay in moving alongside Aurora to sniff at her, so she could learn what she could through the others scent.

Aurora heard the wolf approaching before she saw her and once she spotted the she-wolf her ears perked in curiousity. Her grey eyes lit up with excitement. Another wolf! Wait. She's getting awfully close. Aurora noted that the wolf raised her head so she assumed the woman was of higher rank. She lowered her tail and head in response, but her ears remained straight out of pure intrigue. Hi...I'm Aurora. Aurora Icefur. She murmured softly.

Aurora  faintly carried the scent of her land up north, revealing she was from quite a good trek away. It also told the other female Aurora was an unmated wolf, not in heat. Aurora shifted her weight back and forth on her forepaws as she waited for the other she-wolf to learn what she could about the white wolf of the north.

The other introducing herself reminded Eshe of her manners. She withdrew upon getting the scents off of the other, deducing plenty of things about the other from the scents she held. Eshe tilted her head at the surname of the other, and though she would've assumed this to be a relative of Scimitar's someway, somehow from the last name alone he had never informed her of such. Likely a funny coincidence, or maybe the way the stars aligned when Aurora came to the Wilds.

I'm Eshe Frostfur! Welcome to the family! So nice to meet you, she said in turn, and she truly meant it all. It wasn't scripted or practiced or rehearsed; Eshe was eager for every wolf that would join them, join their family and become a part of it. What with all of Eshe's own bloodline gone except for her and maybe Bhreac, she took what she could get and downright loved them. Charon was as good as blood; she'd never been told otherwise anyhow, and Deshyr among other Ostrega's had a hand in raising her and bringing her back to life, so to speak. Whatcha up to? Mind if I join ya? Her head tilted, and her tail waved.

Aurora was doing her own examination of the She-wolf before her, but much more subtly. She assumed based off her posture and since her surname was Frostfur, that she was the mate of Scimitar, and her new Alpha Female. At this realization her eyes widened. She was not quite sure why an Alpha would be interested in spending time with a new wolf. Then again, did not the Alpha mention a family? Maybe that is what it was like.

Umm...Sure. I am just getting used to the area... She awkwardly mumbled. I considered catching a rabbit or something but i do not know the best areas. She added softly. Her gaze was focused on her paws as she sifted around nervously. She needed to get used to being around other wolves again. It was not uncomfortable, just different after being on her own. Her grey eyes moved up to Eshe's face and she gave an awkward smile.
