hello from this side - Addie - March 21, 2016 Anyone permitted! Adeline just being a nuisance.
Day two on this planet. She was waited on hand and foot, except for the moments her mother went to relieve herself. Other than that, life was bliss. Adeline had assumed the role of 'top dog' among her litter-mates; this was self-perceived, but any who sought to try and change her mind or her place atop her wriggling worm family was swiftly met with a paw planted swiftly in the face. Not that she knew where it landed. Only that it was suckled, which might as well have been kissed, which was as good as it got for Adeline who did not mind that one bit. Children had no sense of hierarchy, but Adeline liked to be settled atop her brothers, snug right in the crevice and held fast by them. Her screaming when her way was not had was often a guaranteed way to get her atop them again, because she would never stop until she felt herself settled there. Of course, if one was Odette, Adeline didn't know yet. Just that she liked to be placed there. And sleep there. At present, Adeline had woken to the sensation of cold, hard earth. That was a gross exaggeration, of course, but Adeline squealed in horror at it. She was adept at squirming and scaling mount sibling, which could be any one of her siblings at any given time, and began to work on this. Nothing was so important to her as her comfort was, other than food... but comfort seemed to dominate everything else (because she was not yet hungry), so her one motivation was to get back into her place among her brothers. She whined all throughout the process, because if the machine that sometimes helped could do it for her she'd welcome that. Adeline often got her way by being vocal, but as she squirmed it was clear she'd do it for herself, had she the capability. RE: hello from this side - Jackrabbit - March 21, 2016 He hated EVERYONE.
Although he was blind, deaf and hardly a sense of direction, he knew that this WORLD WAS HORRIBLE, to make that perfectly clear. So far, he had detected three other siblings hogging his mother, and would proceed to gnaw on their tiny faces as a grand display of dominance. They simply were not as amazing as him. But there was one, ooohhh this one made t very hard to move with the constant lounging about on top of him like she ruled their little huddle. HE had emerged first, and was by far the biggest and had the most value on their earth while the others did nothing in the past few hours that they were alive. Their existence was futile while he was far more superior than any one of them could ever perceive.
The shuffle behind him signaled to him that the fatty was at it again, trying to make a move atop his delicate bodice. But this time, he was ready. Furiously, he climbed on top of her, squashing her down with all the muscle he could muster. He tried to growl, like his nature demanded but an estrange mewl was all that anyone would actually hear. If only Mother could see him now, and she would banish the other's from her comfort except for him, which he greatly hoped would come true.
RE: hello from this side - Addie - March 21, 2016 There was no stopping her brother as he tried to reverse the roles. They were but blobs, and as he tried to clamber on top of her, Adeline let out a loud shriek of protest. He ruined her purchase by moving, and Adeline felt him try to squirm atop her. And so far, he was succeeding. But he left some space, and her rotund body rolled helplessly against the weight of his shifting... she squealed every bit of the way as she moved out from under her brother, who had haplessly assisted her in her escape from him, Stoic! Adeline let out a grunt of disapproval, but did not know what way he had gone. So she went to climb atop another innocent sibling, leaving her hind leg hanging so she could 'kick' anyone else who tried to join her up top alone. But with no muscle to speak of, it'd be all very comical to watch and pretty futile. And then, she was hungry; so she grabbed at a teat and suckled loudly, feeling no victory at all, because incidentally she had already forgotten about the existence of any other but the one who mattered: she, Adeline, herself. RE: hello from this side - Zaria - March 21, 2016 This is hilarious! :D Small Zaria cameo, feel free to continue spreeing without me!
Zaria really needed to adjust. If it wasn't their loud screams or yips that woke her then it were their badly smelling poop or pee that they often let go most of the time close to her or on her. Zaria was not very eager to start cleaning her babies. The mother was not into her squealing potatoes, yet she couldn't help but study and look at them. They were so alien to her. One of the twins and the lighter girl were squabbling, again. Because that was all it was. For her it were just some flailing stumps that were doing got knows what. Zaria did not even realize that there was a micro rivalry going on between the two lumps. She deemed them stupid, thinking they were squabbling over a teat while she had many more. She did not much to help them. She just let the pups flail around and let them crawl over each other. She could not believe she was this stupid when young. The one with the white tipped tail had climbed upon another sibling. For a moment she thought about pushing her off? Or maybe place them all on their backs and see if they could turn themselves over. Would that be mean? It probably would. The mother had not named her children yet, mainly because she had not thought of any names and didn't care too much, it was probably going to be Fitz' job to do that. Zaria placed her head down, still feeling weirded out by the pups drinking from her. Such weird feeling. "Stupid little monsters...," she grumbled. Still, her eyes stayed on them, her body curled around them like a protective fortress. RE: hello from this side - Solemn - March 21, 2016 BAD LANGUAGE. i am terrible for potty mouthing using a baby oh well !!! Monsters!! As if!!!
While the two obnoxious pups in the litter fought over who knows what, the other twin remained quiet and calm, perfectly content with suckling on a different teat. Hardly a monster, if you'd ask me. He was often kicked or rolled onto, but such was not to be noticed by such a small and senseless creature. He was unaware of the fighting, really, being blind and deaf, but the occasional nudges and shoves were enough to eventually grab his attention. Although small brown blob was mostly silent (he would've been an angel to his mother had she paid better attention to them), one final shove to the face and small babe was thrown into anger. He did not know why or understand what he was feeling, but let out a loud screech, probably piercing the ears of everyone within a 100 mile radius.
For fucks sake, implied the little pups call, Calm the fuck down!
RE: hello from this side - Jackrabbit - March 21, 2016 After another set of tumbles and mewls, Sister latched onto Mother again successfully ending their squabble. Mother didn't seem to care about his dominion, for she made no attempt to straighten them out. Sister was such a child, as was the rest of his siblings. Brother was less obnoxious, so he instantly deemed the twin his favourite. Waddling over to what his nose told him was his brother, he lay right against him, leaving Sister and the other one to their own. He found himself instantly tired after their excursion, resting his head on his forepaws. He was not big yet, but he would grow to be. And he would be the leader of this tribe, the eldest. Mother was assumably their leader, and the only source of nutrients. They needed her, although what would happen when they didn't? The questions were too large for him to comprehend, and he snuggled into the side of his brother more. Brother was much more comfortable than Sister, and much more calm. Yes, this would do.
RE: hello from this side - Addie - March 22, 2016 Adeline was adaptable. But one thing that would never change was her inherent need to be on top, and it was so even then. She was quiet when happy, and loud when not. And that was the way of things. There would be no uproar so long as she was pleased... and once settled on top of her little sister, and perhaps her other older brother, she was just that, suckling happily away. She knew nothing of disliking others, and so certainly didn't dislike her brother for causing offense. Adeline was only aware of herself, and vaguely aware of others. Just as she did not know her limits, she did not know theirs. Adeline knew she did not like to be heckled, and did not perceive what she did to be exactly that to her brother. It was her world, as Adeline perceived it... they all simply lived in it. Adeline hadn't the knowledge to know that mother was a being that sustained; all that was were simply things to her. RE: hello from this side - Odette - March 28, 2016 This was madness.
Odie was sick of being her sister’s couch.
The little pup let out a bloodcurdling scream of anger, after letting go of a teat that she had previously been suckling on. Even though she could not hear herself do to her and her siblings current deafness, her poor Mother most likely could. She just seriously needed to let all of that annoyance out. The little brown ball of fluff began to wriggle as much as her little petite body would allow, in attempts to get her sister off of her. The little poof ball began to whine madly and uncontrollably.
Get off!
RE: hello from this side - Solemn - April 06, 2016 The pup gave another loud (well, not really) yip of protest, frustrated that his siblings were not so calm or collected. The larger one settled beside him, and he felt comfort in the babes warmth just as the other did to him. There was perhaps someone on top of him, but he couldn't truly decipher and was just ignoring it now. BUT. Someone disrupted the peace. They wiggled and squirmed and attempted to throw the other siblings everywhere else, but he was too stubborn and too large to move. He was discontent, but not enough to give into the crazy demands of someone else.
RE: hello from this side - Zaria - April 09, 2016 Zaria watched how the pups squealed and how one was on top of the other. Now she thought about it, that little diva always laid on top of her siblings. The mother wanted to push her off but then she knew that she was going to put on that loud voice again, but now the other two were squealing too. Zaria let out a snort and then decided to be creative. She picked up the girl with the white tail and placed her on her side/back. She would barely feel the pup and she better not be complaining. Zaria's green eyes looked over the small balls of fur. They really needed names soon. She would need to tell Fitz that. |
