A Shot Of Brandy - Brandy - April 09, 2016 @Val : If you're up for it, Brandy could always use new friends. If not, anyone is welcome.
Brandy was bored, and with nothing to do that meant she was prone to get into some form of trouble. This time, it seemed it would be another bout in climbing. Not trees, however, but a tumble of rockfall that was just too enticing to pass up. The bronze female coiled the muscles in her hindquarters, springing up and scrabbling herself onto the top of the lowest boulder. This was great! Already, she was feet off the sloping ground, and her fiery paws carried her higher. It wasn't going to bring the same satisfaction that climbing a tree would, but that was a test for later. Now, the copper and cream wolf was reaching the top of the little rockpile, finding herself lonely and rather bored by herself. Would another of Broken Antler Fen wander to the reaches of the territory to find the pile of rocks and the yearling that scaled it, or would she have to call for someone to see what she'd found? Her lemon gaze reached across the fen, wondering if she could see anyone. Friend, foe, or in anyone otherwise. RE: A Shot Of Brandy - Valtyr RIP - April 10, 2016 ^__^
Valtyr had spent the early morning exploring the Fen. The wetlands were vast and it seemed that no matter how far he journeyed, new parts of the territory continued to reveal themselves each day. Hidden pocket of lush greenery and small copses of trees dotted the scrim harmoniously and factured an idyllic setting upon which to meander. The young wolf enjoyed this alone time, however it wasn't long until he spotted the petite amber colored girl, Brandy, perched atop a large heap of boulders. They had met briefly at the meeting, but Valtyr recognized that he immediately admired the yearling's vim. She was much more approachable than Aduin or Ambroasia (unkown to him that the later was Brandy's mother) and so he loped over to her pile, looking up and squinting as the sun dipped behind her. "What's up, pup?" he called with a smirk, "playing king of the hill?" Brandy certainly wasn't a child — in fact, she was above him in the ranks — but their age gap made for a well-meaning jest... Plus, he liked the rhyme. RE: A Shot Of Brandy - Brandy - April 10, 2016 Brandy had, from her high point, seen Val coming. Her paws surged with energy she didn't know she had, but she contained herself to the topmost boulder. She couldn't be sure how the male would react to some yearling pouncing on him, and she wasnt willing to find out. She was thrilled when he approached her on his own, showing an obvious interest in the slightly vain female. She didn't mind his remark, and she grinned playfully down at him with her own sly retort. She spoke in a purposefully sassy way, a giggle highlighting the humor, and winked down at him. "Queen of the mountain, actually. Would you like to join?" Tail wagging, she play bowed and scratched at the edge of the boulder, ready and waiting on the male's next move. Though she wouldn't be going for a trade in fighting, she was thankful for the warrior training her mother gave her; it gave her all the more skills, and Brandy was determined to gain as many skills as she could before she died. Every play fight, every hunt, every adventure honed her paws and mind further. RE: A Shot Of Brandy - Valtyr RIP - April 22, 2016 Brandy called to him enthusiastically as he approached the foot of her rock, his own muddy-colored tail waving playfully behind him. However, the leggy Sveijarn was certainly not a creature born for graceful climbing. He's probably look lore like a newborn moose scrabbling up the rock face... hardly an impressive beast. "Oh, a Queen," he remarked, "my apologies, your majesty." Valtyr stood on his hind legs, placing his amber-colored front feet upon the stone. He was an exceptionally tall man, almost reaching eye-level with the perched Brandy as she invited him up. "Me? Up here? Is that a royal invitation?" he asked with a wicked smirk. RE: A Shot Of Brandy - Brandy - April 22, 2016 Brandy grinned, puffing herself up importantly. So far she liked this male, he was funny and possibly even willing to play with her! What else could she ask for? He reared and put his paws on the rocks, and the copper female giggled again at his question. "Yes, a royal invitation! Wouldn't you want to see the queen?" With that, she turned and coiled her muscles, leaping up and over to another boulder and glancing back to see if her multicoloured friend followed. |
