I'm a beast, and a vicious one - Kunik - April 19, 2016 Kunik crouched low in the swaying grass, hidden amongst the underbrush. The prey she was currently stalking was a fat fowl of some kind, to humans it would have been referred to as a quail. All Kunik needed to know was that it was food. She inched forward as the bird did, not wanting it to get too far. Her body stilled as she waited for the bird to settle, it being distracted as it preened its feathers. Kunik's muscles tensed and she lept forward, landing right on the bird as it sqwauked in protest. With a quick snap of her jaws it fell limp. She scooped the dead bird up, intent on putting it in the pack's cache. With a small victorious grin she padded off to bury it. RE: I'm a beast, and a vicious one - Trick - April 19, 2016 A soft, devious chuckle filled the forest full of weeping willows that made the most wonderful sounds as the wind played with them. It was absolutely magnificent, a true masterpiece. But Trick was too busy making plans to notice anything. For now, it was just a place from which he would rule the packs located around- and within here. With so many wolves, there had to be some sort of drama, and he was going to be the cause of it.
The victorious man with a grin like a madman strolled through his new "home". He snickered, getting familiar with the place as well as the scent of his new "family". Hah, did Warbone really trust him? He was just like his brother, strong but blind and deaf. But, he had to say, he was a mighty good actor. In his life, he had only been caught in an act once. But that was years ago, he had refined his movements and voice, as well as his way of thinking. Suddenly, he froze, hearing the screeches of a bird. Poor creature, he thought, assuming it had been killed. He had to know who the victorious hunter was though, and so he followed his nose to a silhouette of copper and red.
The small, raven trickster quickened his pace, his body made more for speed and agility. He could see that this female -yes, he could smell and kind of see she was female- had around the same build. Huh, what a coincidence that both their "weak" bodies were following a brute like Warbone. But did she have the wit and intelligence that Wylie had? He caught up with her, strolling beside her but keeping his distance.
Greetings! He exclaimed. May I?He asked, requesting he could join her to wherever she was going. He needed to get closer to his pack mates anyway. RE: I'm a beast, and a vicious one - Kunik - April 19, 2016 Her good ear turned to listen just as she finished burying the bird's carcass, her pelt prickling as she felt eyes on her. Her head turned to the male as he entered her space, deaf ear staying still while her usable one twitched as she listened to him speak. He was close in size to herself with a coat of night and jade eyes that peered at her inquistively. Do not trust him, something is off within his mind. There was something about him, something sly and twisted she did not like. "Aye, feel free to join me,"she told him, taurine eyes following his every move eerily. She sat back once she was done digging, moving towards him to sniff him curiously as most canines did when meeting new people. Kunik kept back from him a few feet when she was done, keeping an eye on him warily. RE: I'm a beast, and a vicious one - Trick - April 19, 2016 The girl's instincts hadn't been wrong, or so he would say if he could read her mind. Sometimes he thought he actually could, simply because he noticed little physical changes with ease, but knew he actually couldn't. He was, in his sense of the word, not insane. Insane was 'not totally there with the mind' for him, and he was more aware of things than anyone he had met. An insane being wouldn't even know how to enter a pack, think of such devious plans as Wylie was doing. He was bad, terribly bad, but he did it so well. He knew he couldn't be trusted-his whole personality kind of went around this- and he loved every second of it.
The snake watched her, a curious twinkle in his grass eyes, as she dug under the creature that had first flown in the air carelessly. This just reminded him of how fast a life could end, both for him and the ones around him. At least she was nice, despite having blood on her paws. She had killed, but it had been for surviving, not for fun like Trick once did. His head tipped to the left, watching her with a kind smile. Yeah, she was alright.
He did not return the sniffing, instead; he sat down, formally so, his leafy eyes fixated on her.
Trick is the name, my lady.He introduced himself. We little ones gotta stay together, huh?He joked, keeping his formal English at a minimum with this one. the aye alone all made him want to talk like a pirate again, but he had joked about that already with Warbone, so it wasn't that fun anymore. RE: I'm a beast, and a vicious one - Kunik - April 19, 2016 It seemed like a fitting name for the creature before her. "Kunik,"she gave in return. She thought about debugging his 'my lady' comment but made no move to do so. It would not be pleasant to start off with enemies in her new pack. "I suppose we do,"she agreed though she had no plans to stay anywhere near him. He made her flesh crawl. "Do you have a trade?" RE: I'm a beast, and a vicious one - Trick - April 19, 2016 Kunik, a not so specific name like Warbone, but still nice to say. He did found the name unique, which was the only thing a name really had to be -for him at least. Kunkun sounded more fun though, woot woot! Nicknames were a good start at a fake friendship, he thought, but he assumed a lot of things.
What a lovely name.He said, his voice as sweet as honey with just the right amount of wit in it. They say a not so ordinary name, like Kunik, makes others think they could do something out of the ordinary. He commented as a sort of compliment. Aah, trades, yes yes, he had his mind set on some. he had yet to chose which one specifically, but he was getting there. It was just that, with his intelligence, wit and agility -ahum-, he could do so much.
Surely do, Kunkun. A healer trade would be sublime, though I also enjoy travelling, speaking, hunting, the whole shabang, woot.He listed with joy, keeping the whole "I also want to destroy all living things on this planet" out of it. And you?He asked, now more curious of her. RE: I'm a beast, and a vicious one - Kunik - April 19, 2016 Her lip curled at the childish nickname, showing her displeasure of it. She was a woman not a child, she would be damned if her name would be soiled that way. She chose not to respond to it, deciding that if he wished to address her in the future she would not respond unless called by her given name. "I am interested in a Mercenary trade or Hunter perhaps. I'm interested in poisons as well," it was her usual spiel, she was a common type of wolf she supposed. RE: I'm a beast, and a vicious one - Trick - April 19, 2016 Trick is a dick, isn't he? XD He just smirked at her mad-face. She was younger, he could tell, and even though she was practically an adult, it didn't change his thoughts on her. A well-mouthed, slightly older teenager with trust issues. He would call her Kunkun till the end of time, till she accepted it, for he had only "sworn" himself to Warbone, not to his followers. Yes, he should "treat them all like family, because love conquers all and flowers and rainbows and happy times", but that wasn't his style. He would get in her mind eventually, his charming -and a bit annoying- persona and good looks were made to impress the ladies. Even the ladies playing hard-to-get.
A mercenary? How? She was so little! Sure, she had some muscles here and there, but a fight she would lose. Yes, Wylie was build the same -he thought just a little bigger-, be he didn't participate in fighting. He was an observer, a trickster. A hunter he could understand, her small frame probably very agile and fast like him, but a mercenary? meh, he shall see. His ears twitched when he heard the word poisons, and his smirk turned into an up-to-no-good grin. He quickly wiped it off his face though. He couldn't get excited about poisons. He was a healer, a healer damn it!
Poisons you say? Woot, isn't that awfully dangerously dangerous? He chuffed. He couldn't help it though, he needed to ask if she knew where the best place was to find them. And where could you find such nasty things here? I dearly hope not here, don't want to die yet, if you know what I mean, miss. RE: I'm a beast, and a vicious one - Kunik - April 19, 2016 and Kunik's a bitch :P
Had Kunik been privy to his thoughts she would have been outraged. She was an adult, dammit! Her body had filled out at two years old and she was sexually mature having had her first heat that spring. She had been second command of her natal pack-that wasn't a child's job. By all rights she was a grown wolf and she acted as such. She would have made him bleed had she heard the thoughts about her frame, she was strong for a female of her stature. Size didn't make warriors. "I suppose they are dangerous. Don't eat the plants and you'll be fine," she cocked a brow at him, evading his question to exactly where they were. It was knowledge she liked to keep to herself. RE: I'm a beast, and a vicious one - Trick - April 19, 2016 Perfect for some drama, if ya ask meh! :P
Trick almost wanted to slap her in the face for her comment on plants. Did he truly come over as stupid to her? NO ONE, and I repeat, NO ONE would be so stupid to eat unknown plants. it was the most stupid, idiotic thing anyone could do. it only angered him more that she didn't answer his question, but he kept his cool. With a cool mane flip, he replied sassy.
I would never. He said, playing as if he was offended. Truly, my lady, I would never be as stupid as to eat unknown things. It would very much help for me to know where I mustn't be though, if I don't want to run into them.He explained, hinting again that he REALLY wanted to know. RE: I'm a beast, and a vicious one - Kunik - April 19, 2016 Kunik cocked a brow at the flash of aggression across his face, wondering if it had been so easy to catch his true colors. He hid it well though, making her smirk. She didn't buy his offended little act, not one bit. Why is he pushing so hard to know where the plants are? I just joined, I haven't even looked for any yet. "I'm afraid I don't know. I only recently became one of Warbone's followers,"she explained, feigning to be repentant over her lack of knowledge. As if she would ever tell him. RE: I'm a beast, and a vicious one - Trick - April 20, 2016 Her facial expressions weren't hard to read. As much as he didn't want to believe it -maybe he didn't at all- she may suspect him of his evil plans. And so, he put a warm smile on his muzzle, one that almost exactly looked real.
It soon became clearer that it had been a waste talking to her, for she did not know what he was looking for. pff, please, a true poison master would've looked for poisons first thing in the morning. Much like he was planning.
Well then, I assume I'll just be very wary of the plants around here, woot.He joked. Guess I'll let you be now, it seems like you have some mighty searching around for poisons to do, tock!He exclaimed happily, but in reality he was just hoping for her to "accidentally" eat some poison while she was looking for them. He turned around, facing a way he hadn't been to yet, watching her from over his shoulder, waiting if she would even want to say goodbye.
RE: I'm a beast, and a vicious one - Kunik - April 20, 2016 I'll archive!
His babbling went right through her ears, as she nodded along in an act of interest. Once he finished talking, having obviously lost interest that she didn't have what he wanted, he made to leave. Kunik nodded in departure, not bothering to say anything. She turned away from him, an ugly expression coming across her face as if she had smelt a skunk. I hope he eats nightshade. |
