she asked for war and they did not comply - Rebekka - May 08, 2016 Backdated to before she gets to SD @Silver
It was not hell, she concluded. But it was nothing short of purgatory. Nothing was left in the aftermath of the insects. But she had a journey, and a wave of giant, flying grasshopers would not stop her path. There was time to ride out the wave, but not for long. Barren trees and all signs of life disaperated as if it wasn't even there in the first place. Only the lake reflected any sign of natuaral life, and even then, it was still. Unmoving as the world around her seemed. She stood at it's banks, watching dead insects wave up and back down into the water below. A sickly, urging feeling in her stomach made her growl, realising her own anatmony had betrayed her. The desperation for food had grown within the last few days, and it had been too long since she consumed enough. Knowing her hunt would not likely turn out a sucsess, she began to scouer what was left of the forest of any meat substance she could find. Everything had been driven from their homes to find their own food, and with that a feral growl came from within her. If she had only stayed longer in Trigeda, she could have ignored this whole damn thing. No, she could not stay another night there. Even if their herds were plentiful and lands were flourishing. There was no going back. It was then a flash of white crossed her perhiperals. It couldn't be, an ulterior smile made it's wya to her face. Rabbit. Against her desire, she approached slowly, not wanting to waste her only chance. but sppn she could not contain her hunger. She lept at the rabbit, just missing the snag of it's tail. It buried itself in a nearby rabbit hole while she clawed her way to it. "Jok!" How could she miss it? She wouldn't. The alcove the rabbit was hiding in son collapsed under the paws of Rebekka's desperation and out she dragged an estranged crying rabbit. She held the squeelin thing in her mouth until it's heart stopped, taking it back to the lake to devour. This rabbit was one in a million, she knew. Any lurkers nearby would kill for it. She wouldn't let that happen. RE: she asked for war and they did not comply - Silver - May 08, 2016 Silver's stomach gave off more cries as she walked along the territory. She was going to go mad any second if she didn't get any food into her stomach. The rabbits were gone from the hollow, along with small rodents. The father above was hexing the wolves down on earth, giving faminine and bug plagues. Was this the revenge Fawn gave to Silver? Was this Cloud's doing upon his murder? The zeta felt her hackles twitch with anger as she continued to move out. She couldn't stay in the territory, for nothing was there to eat except the dead locusts. Her best option was to head near the lake and try to find some fish. Would they be affected by the bugs? While she headed along, another scent seemed to linger in the air. And it was fresh. Norally, Silver wouldn't care if someone was here, since the place is practically unclaimed. But the competition for food was driving her to go and seek out this wolf or animal. Her pace quickened to a fast trot as she came closer and closer. The wafting scent grew stronger and stronger, the metallic scent of blood wrapped around Silver's nose. There! A wolf she had never seen before holding something within her maw! What was that, what is it? She came closer, standing in the shadow of a tree that was near the lake. Her blue eyes narrowed to slits as they locked onto the dead animal. It was a rodent, no wait- a rabbit! Her pink tongue licked against her black lips as she started to slink closer. Her body was close to the ground like a sheepdog herding, hunger didn't give a damn about morals. Whether it was hers or not, she needed it. Besides, was this not near her territory? Fair game for her. She came closer and closer, her heart drumming inside of her chest. She had to wait, she needed that meat more than anything. RE: she asked for war and they did not comply - Rebekka - May 08, 2016 Rebekka was no fool. She had been trained since birth to play a specific role. Trigeda produced warriors, and she was no exception. Someone watched her, from not to far away. The swivel of her head an intake of scent notified her where the stranger was, and her ambitions. The blood soaked meat on a stick in her mouth was bound to attract the attention of the starved, no matter what their morals had been. Rebekka did not want a fight, mainly because she knew she would win. This was unclaimed ground and free hunting rights for all. Whoever this was, they would embark on a suicide mission messing with her. Despite her age, she held more stamina than many older than her. She began to walk in the opposite direction, clenching the rabbit in her jaws. This was her kill, rightfully so, and she would not give it up to save her life. RE: she asked for war and they did not comply - Silver - May 08, 2016 She was noticed. Her head swung, though Silver couldn't see her eyes. Her stomach silently pushed her on, Silver's steps were faint. She forgot her morals, she didn't have them anymore. She killed wolves in her life, more than she could count just for food. Maybe this one would be the same, maybe this one would win, or at least survive. Fighting was no hard task, fighting was no trouble. Fighting is what made the world go round for Silver, she survived from her fights. This would be no different. Whether it was a suicide mission or not, Silver needed the calories. The kill, no matter of who killed it or not, would be hers. The other turned to walk, and Silver could only follow still. She tried to hug her path a bit closer and close the distance a bit more. She was still a good amount of feet behind, but she was still persistant. She didn't dare make a wrong move. Closer, closer, closer. Move, move move. One after one after one. She could feel the adrenaline pound inside and run through her veins. She wanted- no, needed it. Whether this wolf was a child or a yearling or an alpha, this was all fair game. RE: she asked for war and they did not comply - Rebekka - May 08, 2016 She glowered. The female was persistent, however stupid it was. Rebekka was full aware of this, feeling eyes on her as she paced steadily forward. She had caught the rabbit, fair and square. She was entitled to all it had to supply her, but these times called for desperation. What a world this was, driving neighbours apart. Nevertheless, she would survive andthe would not include giving up her supper. In a step, she pivoted to face the bigger female, charge ready in her legs. She presented the whole deal, hackles raimed and ears pressed flat against her skull. She was a waririor, bred for that exact purpose. She would not simply give up her meal to the playground bully, no matter how desperate they were. Rebekka did not speak the common tounge these Tremont wolves did, but she knew enought to give a warning. "Back off," She snarl rippled through her throat, reaching her maw. She was not for show, her threat was real. She was feral, unwilling to compromise, nor back down to the pale stranger. Rebekka did not back down to anyone, not strongerror or older. RE: she asked for war and they did not comply - Silver - May 13, 2016 Ooc: Wifi was down. Sorry for the delay! :( do we want to do dice rolls soon? silver wasn't impressed to say the least. Her cold and stoic expression stayed square on her face as she saw the younger and smaller wolf turn and face her. she gave off the full package; she wasn't going to lose her food so easily. She was taken back by this, but soon showed off her own flares. With her bigger size, she had an advantage. But she wasn't sure how the battle for food would go. her hackles were like a rolling wave in the ocean, she arose in a wave pattern. Her ears became one with her skull as her tail shot straight into the air like a flag. Her stance was lowered, her head tucking close to her chest. she would protect her neck no matter what. With a brazen attitude, she took a step forward and let her own, deep growl echo through her pale throat. "i don't take no for an answer" she cracked harshly, taking another step forward. RE: she asked for war and they did not comply - Rebekka - May 24, 2016 Dice rolls it is! link to roll (hit)
When the silver female did not comply to her wishes, her temper increased. Rebekka was not a patient girl, and had never accepted a "no" for an answer. It was unheard of. She was held aback, before snapping back into it and preparing to attack. While she was not fully developed, her actions were sharp and quick, trained from birth to act on the grounder culture. She lunged instantly, aiming at the scruff joined between the base of the females neck and her leg. It was a primary move, but she had thrown her weight into it. If she was sucessful, this would unbalance the female, hopefully knocking her into the ground at the worst or drawing blood at the least. She did not understand why the female wished to take from her and risk injury, unbeneficial if she wanted to continue to survive. Rebekka did not relent, and she would not loose her meal. She was a warrior, bred for that exact purpose. She was Trigeda, and no foreign wolf would overcome her. No other had dared to before. RE: she asked for war and they did not comply - Silver - May 24, 2016 Failed roll to flee and attack. First attack fails, second attack can be determined with a roll if you want to see if she can dodge!
Why the little devil was already picking a fight with her! The willowy wolf couldn't process the attack in time, for the launch of weight threw her off balance. Crashing near the ground, Silver caught herself, feeling the weight of the yearling hold her down. Her lips pulled back in an instance as she felt teeth scrap and dig against the scruff. A quick move to make someone give up, but she would die for any kill. She quickly tried to throw the other off, moving back and forward. She wanted to make her unstable, but it seemed she was able to cling in tightly. She even dared to bring her neck around and snap at the other, but it appeared her head was just to far away. Being a bit unflexible from starvation, Silver could feel her anger rise higher and higher. What was this child thinking it was, a god? With the vermillion tears cascading down her scruff, enough was enough. Silver, finally being able to reach far enough, launched her ivories towards her opponent. If she was lucky, she would be able to grab the side of the ear and cheek with one snatch and hopefully pull her off, or even better- tear the entire damn thing off. RE: she asked for war and they did not comply - Rebekka - May 29, 2016 rebekka takes the second hit; Link to next hit (sucess)
The young warrior found triumph when she found herself landed ontop the opposing female. Her teeth founds it's place where she had aimed, tasting the metallic tang of shed blood. The sight of the female come to tears only made her feel better, she was not ashamed to admit. It did not last long, however, before the female made a move against her. Rebekka ducked, the strangers teeth just grazing her hairs before another attack was administered. This time, forgein teeth met her ear, and a breife moment of excruiciating pain later and her own blood hit the floor. Her ear ached, the dull pain growing by the milisecond. Her ear was not gone, but it was not intact. But she could not let that stop her. It was not the first scar she had, and it would not be the last. Even if a good part of her ear was missing. If Trigeda had taught her anything, it was blood must have blood. This time, her attack was real. The stranger was already unbalanced, and her own daze was seemingly illusioning. She made her move, towards the strangers neck with power, aiming to lock her jaws on the soft part of the girl's neck. If she could lock it, it would be very hard to get away in the position they were in. Nobody messed with Rebekka and got away with it. The yearling seemed very confident in her way of fighting, almost arrogant to Silver. now, Silver was very arrogant at times and came off as gaunt, but didn't play dumb when it came to fighting for food. She landed her attack (thank the stars) and was able to tear a good portion. It still was there, however it would surely become infected if not treated correctly. The younger warrior came to attack once more, this time aiming for the neck. Seeing that she moved too quick, the lanky woman could not run in time. The ivory teeth scraping against her neck made her tense up, but quickly react to free herself. As blood painted her fur vermillion, Silver turned her head to latch onto the darker girl. It was not an attack, but instead an evasion of it. She tried to pry the girl off, feeling her fur and skin shred itself as her tactic was successful. Feeling a bit more freedom, Silver soon darted over to use her weight and overthrow the other. Her jaws parted themselves like a croc unhinging its' jaws. Swiftly she made her way over, hoping to grab a part of the cheek of her face. It was not a tactical move that would overthrow the girl, but instead show that Silver was, in fact, a nasty fighter. She didn't fancy traditional fights, she fought the way she knew. With her attack in action, Silver would then have to face either her victory or loss. If her attack was unsuccessful, she would easily be counterattacked. She would either have to fight and win for the food, flee with the food, or flee with hunger. RE: she asked for war and they did not comply - Rebekka - June 12, 2016 wrap this up soon? Link to escape (sucess).
Once again, her teeth sunk into the girls skin, blood drawn. But it was short lived; the girl launched another attack, missing once more. It was a pitful display of weak combat skills, but Rebekka had not won yet. The stranger the backed off, to her suprise. It hoped to over turn her, it seemed. Rebekka flashed a wicked smile, allowing herself to feel the impact of the stranger's weight on her before she turned her head, swivveling her body around to escape her entire weight. This would work, causing the stranger to fall down by her own weight. In her escape, Rebekka swooped up the hare in her jaws, safely latching in her mouth as she ran. The yearling did not need to win the fight to feel victory, she would have her meal. This was her victory, her prize, safely locked in her jaws. The girl ran in the direction of Trigeda, her body gliding with haste through the barren forests. If the stranger dared to follow her, she could, and meet her death. RE: she asked for war and they did not comply - Silver - June 12, 2016 ooc: Sure, thanks for the thread! Last from me! :D The teeth that dug into her skin almost made Silver scream out. It wasn't the first time she had dueled, but damn this girl could bite! The two scruffled aorund a bit more before the other decided to flee, taking her kill with her and running. Anger circulated around the light-pelted female, feeling her body kick into an over-aggressive behavior. She let out a loud bark, giving chase for only a few steps before slowing back down. She didn't feel defeat, she had put up a good fight in her mind. She was still alive to say the least, and that was enough to please her. Pride inside of her could flourish another day. Huffing, Silver turned back to go home and treat her wounds. If that yearling ever decided to show her face back again, Silver would be sure not to let her escape. |
