with ghosts, with gods, with electrons, with tales - Amnesty - May 10, 2016 Amnesty didn't prefer to be alone, but it was practical for the time being— satisfactory to her needs— and she saw no reason to change her position rashly. Even the affliction that had befallen these lands gave her little reason to actively seek company. The bare trees and shrubs that whistled unhappily in the spring night did not frighten her, and in this mode she had no one to worry about but herself. It was healthier this way, for now, she presumed. The grey creature coasted beneath the high moon, tongue lolling and eyes glistening towards every breezy shadow that shifted and every illusion of the earth moving caused by a cloud passing over the only light of midnight. Her belly felt unfortunately empty, and she searched for a place to tuck herself away for the night. So that she might forget her hunger in her sleep. RE: with ghosts, with gods, with electrons, with tales - Ambrosia - May 15, 2016 @Amnesty hope you don't mind me jumping in <3
Ambrosia was finally on her way again, heading further along the mountain and fully intending to go all the way around till she arrived back at the fen. Her wandering paws, however, had other plans, and she strayed closer to Golden Glade. She'd spend the day napping off her hunger, not at all minding the midnight walk. It gave a new perspective of the world. Here, too, was barren. Broken Antler Fen would not be able to rely on travel to feed themselves. A scent brought her forward though, and this time she was more careful. Still just as friendly, her tail wagging high in the air. A faint smile graced her pretty features as her lemon gaze caught the grey pelt of another female. She let out a greeting chuff, clearling asking if she were a friend or foe. A hopeful tip of her head slowed her steps, and the tawny female was on alert to run or fight if need be. |
