won't you come back - Ghost - May 18, 2016 Oh the irony. Atlantis had never set his eyes upon the ocean. He'd been silently nestled on the shore for nearly an hour now, simply admiring its beauty. The smells, the sounds, the... taste. BLAH. Atlantis suddenly recoiled in disgust. How could something so beautiful taste so horrible? He signed softly as he took a few steps forward, his paws now fully submerged under water. To be quite honest, the usually perfectly polished Atlantis was not fan of getting his paws dirty, but for a wonder like this, he'd make an exception. His stomach enterrupted this admiration with an eager growl. As he gazed downwards he wondering if he was still any good at fishing. Of course, as fate would have it, his first month away from his pack, he'd encounter a famine. RE: won't you come back - Deirdre - May 18, 2016 she had grown into herself, the young witch, and her cherubic looks had transformed her into a beauty at an early age. were it not for the famine, deirdre would be voluptuous and full, all woman to the eye of any stranger. she bore the looks of one even still, though her furs clung to her bones, leaner than she ought to be. there was life yet in her eyes, and deirdre had the will to survive the cursed time wrought upon the wilds. it was why she stood within the waters of the ocean not too far from home but outside of its borders, exploring its depths. recently, deirdre had begun to hunt small game; her inexperience was not in her favor, for as she dove for a fish, it slipped past her jowls that had taken too long to close. she lifted her head from the sea, and disappointedly moved toward the shoreline for some reprieve. not yet did the girl see the other who had the same goal as she did, her failure the only thing on her mind. the pack ensured the survival of she and emaleth, but how could she repay them if she could not come to survive herself in time? |
