Well.....shit - Skeet - May 30, 2016 @Jhala if you can!
Welp, Skeet didn't seem to wake up on the right side of his den this morning. Everything seemed to just spin around and make him a bit annoyed. Whether it was the rumors he heard of the new religion Reek was all over or hearing that the new lady alpha was somewhat rude, he wasn't in the mode to deal with her, nor even meet her. With his fur in a mess and eyes glossed over, Skeet barked out for Jhala, hoping to talk with a friend. He thought she was pretty and deserved a good man, but doubted he would fit those requirements. Besides, she probably wanted to only be friends. Silently, he sat down with a bored glare and looked around the brown and grey land. His ears were flat. RE: Well.....shit - Jhala - May 31, 2016 Rumours were true, Jhala had had no good encounters with the new alphess and was less than thrilled with her arrival. Where had Reek even found her? She didn't really care that Reek had picked a wife, she was less than interested in that. Her respect for the man had gone down-- and continued to-- with every passing day since she had met this Kekshit... or... whatever. She was unhappy and laid low, refusing to meet with the woman again, or even Reek for that matter.
When she heard Skeet's bark, she could only assume it was a trap. She hesitated to go to him, wondering if the new queen awaited beside him. She sucked in her breath and closed her eyes for a moment before she began towards her friends direction. When she arrived, relief flooded through her. No alphas, just Skeet. "Hey Skeet," she barked, her tail wagging. RE: Well.....shit - Skeet - June 04, 2016 She came along, and skeet forced himself to give her a crooked smile. He was happy to know at least one wolf was sane in the pack besides himself. "hey Jhala" he said, motioning her to come over and sit with him. His large jaws released a tired yawn, glossy eyes staring at the barren land before him. he took his eyes back to the beta. "Have you heard about this new religion shit Reek is all about?" He asked tiredly, wondering what her answer would be. Jhala didn't seem to be one for stuff like religion, Skeet didn't read her that way. Maybe she was, and Skeet just wasn't picking up on it. RE: Well.....shit - Jhala - June 05, 2016 "Kind of," Jhala answers after their informal greeting. She plops into the dusty ground and it ripples around her body before settling in her coat and around her. "I've heard but neither of the alphas have really spoken to me about it," she explains, shrugging. Her head falls to her paws and she lets out a long sight. "There's no such thing as God," she says bluntly. "And if there is, he dudn't care much but us."
Her amber gaze crosses, focusing on her cross paws ahead of her. She has no God to believe in-- why should she be forced to take one on? RE: Well.....shit - Skeet - June 12, 2016 Her explanation was something that Skeet paid good attention to. Jhala wasn't very interested in the topic to say the least, even defying the belief that a god even existed. Skeet didn't really care what Jhala believed in, she had her rights just as he had his. He looked over to her with a tired expression. "Huh" he said, thinking about what she said. Why did she add an extra 's' to alpha? Was there two now? "Whaddya mean by alphas? Do we have another now?" he asked, hoping to hear some news from his beta friend. RE: Well.....shit - Jhala - June 20, 2016 "Yeah.. uh.." Jhala racks her brain to remember the true name of the woman-- trying to decide if it really was Kekshit. "Kekseph... or... something... I dunno I haven't called her by anything other than Your Highness since I've met her," she says, shrugging. She doesn't care if Skeet doesn't agree with her sarcasm and impoliteness. She'd learned at Porcupine Ridge-- if you don't respect someone, let them know. "Reek took her as his wife-- I guess."
RE: Well.....shit - Skeet - June 25, 2016 So, the new bitch got taken in as a wife? Well, Skeet had nothing against marriage and all but why the hell wouldn't he announce that to everyone?! Jhala didn't seem to care for her too much, having no interest in the topic. "I swear, this pack is going to crumble with this new relgion being shoved down our throats," he commented, forgetting that Jhala was like the ear for Reek to use to listen to the pack. He didn't even care if he got thrown out, for his head was telling him to go and leave and maybe go find Marsh. "I guess we'll just have to adapt." He said, wondering how the hell he would pull that shit off. RE: Well.....shit - Jhala - June 25, 2016 Her ears perk, then fall to her skull. She steps forward and nudges beneath his chin softly. "Hey," she says, trying to calm her agitated friend. "Don't... don't worry 'bout it, 'kay?" she offers, smiling up at him. She pulls away a bit, sitting down and staring at him with wide, amber eyes. "I'm not really the religious type, or whatever, but I'm staying. It won't be bad... I guess. Reek is still here-- Reek's a good guy." Part of her words go back on what she's previously said, but she means well. She respects Reek the most, and although she hates Kekshit, she feels there's no reason to turn Skeet against them both.
RE: Well.....shit - Skeet - July 07, 2016 Her reassurance made him less angry, his shoulders slumped in relaxation. His crude expression turned into a soft smile, his tail began to wag. "Thanks, Jhala" he said, thankful to have a friend like her around. Sadly, this would change in the future when he would ruin it for them both. She was right in the sense that Reek was a good wolf. He wouldn't plan on doing anything stupid or thoughtless to the pack so that at least made Skeet feel okay in the pack. He just still wasn't sure if the religious pack was for him. However, he wouldn't draw the line just yet. That could happen another time, for now, he just wanted to spend time with his friend. "Yeah, he's a good guy, a good leader too. I just hope this new religion won't take Reek away from us." The last thing Skeet wanted was for the old Reek to leave and be replaced with a religious priest who shoved prayers down others throats. RE: Well.....shit - Jhala - July 09, 2016 Jhala frowns, but nods. "Yeah," she says, "Me too." Her tail thumps against the ground though as she nudges Skeet on the shoulder, letting out a playful growl. "C'mooon," she whines, her ears flicking backwards. "Why don't we do something else?" she asks hopefully, her lips curved into a pretty, white smile. "There's so many other things we can be worried about."
