Pearl - Portia - June 17, 2016

The patched beauty moves swiftly through the land, one delicate white foot in front of the other. Her green eyes squint as she stops, her tail swishing behind her contently. She scans the area curiously for a moment before she touches her nose to the ground. No large game here-- not that she could catch any alone anyway.

With a quick, high-pitched sneeze, Portia raises her head and continues along.

RE: Pearl - Trick - June 17, 2016

Not sure what Trick would be doing all the way out here, but let's just say he went on a trip to see if any useful herbs had grown back for a day XD

Trick awoke that early morning with a plan. The Herb Cave had not been filled in weeks, and he did not feel it was his place to plant the seeds of the dried out ones Grace had saved. That was more Grace's work, though he would help if asked nicely. He left the willows behind him, though not forever- just for a day or so, and padded next to the mountains.

He had been caged in that place for too long, it seemed, for the moment he left, he felt a huge weight fall off his shoulders. Here, no Harharhar or Tavi could tell him what to do. Here, he was free. And that made his quite long trip almost enjoyable.

After half a day, maybe longer, He reached the sight of water. Great, he was thirsty. He walked up the great water source, and dipped his head to drink. He gulped down more than usual, hoping to control his hunger with a tummy filled with water, but it really didn't do anything. He shook his silky pitch black fur, his handsome face scanning, mapping his surroundings. And what he found was a quite beautiful sight.

It was a female, he could tell from how she moved and the curves of her body. She didn't look like anyone from "home", though if he had to chose the stranger's counterpart, it would be the old Nova Rose. He chipped softly, not knowing if his handsome body and face had already been noticed.

RE: Pearl - Portia - June 17, 2016

He was noticed-- heaven forbid the young girl would miss anything so important. Not important meaning potential threat, no-- important meaning Christ on a cracker would you look at that face. He could be the devil himself and the girl would have never known-- Satan was, afterall, God's most beautiful angel. Portia scents him not too far off as a gentle wind kicks up. It's a warm wind and does nothing to help cool off, but it's in her favor in this moment.

She looks up, blinks her stunning green eyes for a moment and stares directly at the stranger. She makes eye contact, not really minding the possible consequences. If he was hostile he would've attacked, not barked for her attention. She knows her way around communication, she has it down pat. Besides, her mama always said a little rough housing was always a good way to spice things up.

"Hun," she says, tipping her delicate white head to the side. "It's hot as hell out here-- how can you stand it with that gorgeous black pelt of yours?"

RE: Pearl - Trick - June 18, 2016

As two sets of green eyes met each other, Trick's heart skipped a beat. She was nothing like the marauders, nothing like Teagan. All these years he had felt invisible when it came to females, yet this woman was not staring through him. She was looking directly at him, and he smirked the most handsome smirk he knew. He cocked his head to get a better look of the ash covered snow body she had. Perhaps he was star struck, but he couldn't help feeling as if this moment lasted forever. Never would he trade it for another moment though, having never felt the magic of a "first crush".

He was shocked at first when she spoke, feeling lost for words for a change, but his witty charm took over. Pure talent, m'lady. He spoke in his warm voice. He took a few steps away from the water, showing off his best sides. Do you have any experience with heat? He said with a small wink, ignoring he had just tried to say that he was pretty hot.

RE: Pearl - Portia - June 18, 2016

Her smiles remains. "No kiddin'," she says, raising an eyebrow at him. She settles in the dust, her tail resting beside her paws in an almost cat-like manner. Her smile curves gently into a smirk as she answers, "Only my own," she adds, licking the water from her muzzle. Her eyes study him curiously, their green as bright as the leaves on a sunny August day. After a few moments, she motions before her with a gently dip of her nose.

"Have a seat, sweetheart, what brings you here?"

RE: Pearl - Trick - June 19, 2016

His shook his pitch black coat once more to show off, before turning to her with his whole body. He did not come closer yet, for everyone could play games. No kidding whatsoever. He purred. He watched her sit down, but he had never actually seen a cat sit before, so he couldn't compare. She still looked beautiful, though. And it seemed she knew herself she was quite a hot mess. He chuckled softly. Wait, did that mean she was... oh, what was the word? Single?

He swaggered over to her, placing his own haunches on the ground before answering her question. Fate brought me here, miss. He replied vaguely. But if we look at actual reasons, I am here because the famine is ending soon. I need to scout and find where the herbs are growing back, but I think I've found something a little better than that. He winked.

RE: Pearl - Portia - June 24, 2016

"Mmm, a medic? How wonderful," she says, shaking her head and humming gently. She pauses, lifting an eyebrow. "Tell me, darlin', I've got a nasty pain in my chest-- I fear it may be my heart. What might you prescribe to a lonely damsel such as myself?" she asks, leaning towards him.

omg it's so short i'm sorry. do with it what you please ;p

RE: Pearl - Trick - June 27, 2016

He stroke down his fur. So she liked doctors ey? Well, he surely was experienced. Perhaps his small nature still impressed the ladies, and he had just never noticed before. Or his old home was just one bunch of dicks, he couldn't tell. All he cared about now was impress her with something.

The heart is complicated. He purred. Perhaps you need some love from a handsome man to conquer your pains. He prescribed. It was true, a heartache could be cured with love, one old wise man had told him once. He had never believed in love before, but now he was questioning his own believes. Or perhaps you are dying- dying to be with me. He smirked and winked at her.

RE: Pearl - Portia - June 27, 2016

She grins, pleased he is playing along so well. "Oh but sir, you're the only man I've seen for miles-- would that not be so entirely unprofessional?" she says, feigning concern and exasperation. She could care less if he was walking around with 3 legs-- he was a man, afterall, that's all she needed. She then lets out a petite gasp, a paw raising daintily to her chest. "Dying? Oh-- please, you must help me," she exclaims, her eyes narrowing. Her expression loses it's concerned demeanor twists instead into a mischevious smirk, her green eyes glowing.

RE: Pearl - Trick - June 28, 2016

Not when you know my name, lovely. He said in that seductive tone he had always had, even though he was unaware that he sounded pretty darn sexy. Trick Likoto, may I ask yours? He asked. After all, a doctor must always know their patient's name if they want to begin treatment.

I fear I must begin treatment sooner rather than later. Tell me, patchy pretty, where are you headed? He questioned. He was considering going with her, for he had never fallen before- not this hard. Teagan was gone, he had to accept that, it was time to move on. He barely cared for any of the marauders. With this female by his side, they could conquer the world, take over a pack, burn forests down in the blink of an eye.

RE: Pearl - Portia - July 03, 2016

She huffs, leaning back from him and nodding. "I suppose-- I am Portia Moreau, but I'd much prefer Portia," she tells him, her crown tipping forward gently. "And I head wherever my feet take me-- I have nowhere specific in mind," she adds, her tail waving gently behind her. She wasn't usually one to settle-- with anything, really.

RE: Pearl - Trick - July 17, 2016

Portia... What a beautiful name. He purred softly. He flicked his tail up a time, and then noticed the lowering sun. Oh boy, were the Marauders seeking for him? He dearly hoped they wouldn't even notice his absence, but since he was quite a big deal (In his dreams) there, it could very well be possible that they missed his handsome body. Perhaps it was time to move on, and see if he could find her when the famine was truly at an end and he could travel safely.

I am unfortunately bound to a home, otherwise I could come with you. I promise you now though; I'll find you whenever the famine is truly over. He said.

RE: Pearl - Portia - July 19, 2016

Her ears perked. "Hm," she hums gently, body swaying in mock thought. "Perhaps you will," she says, and stands. "I should be off then, sugar," she tells him, her tail waving behind her. Without waiting for a response, she turns. "I'll see you in my dreams," she calls to him, a gentle reminder for him not to forget her. She probably wouldn't dream about him in the slightest, but what a great pick me up at the end of a conversation.

RE: Pearl - Trick - July 22, 2016

I'll archive! I am also thinking of sending Trick on a trip around Teekon to learn more herb stuff, so maybe he'll come to SD too!

With the wind as my guide, I know I will. He responded with a small wink. He watched her feminine body lift itself off the ground. She was even graceful like this, he thought. He was sad that she would be leaving him, but he guessed being pushy would not work near her. He could swear he even blushed when she called him sugar, but never would he tell someone something so pathetic.

And I you. He made his last reply in another of his honey sweet tones. Unlike her, he would be dreaming of the patched woman and wanted to see her again as soon as things had settled down home. With this in mind, he went back to his mission; searching and finding herbs. After, he returned to the Keep.
