Aveline stocked along the meadow, eying the fruitless ground. The colossal wolf turned her broad figure this way and that, nose down and searching for prey. Since the locust attack, the greenery had begun to grow back, with it bringing back the young girls spirit.
Giant paws slapped the earth as she walked, scenting the air. Still, there were no scents on the seemingly empty wind. She had grown significantly skinnier... what was she to do? She had no food, and her pack was going crazy. She honestly didn't know what else could go wrong at the moment.
