Into The Darkness.... Or Not - Scamp - June 30, 2016

:3 Sorry its so short @Nemesis , still trying to get my bearings with Scamp here.

It was late evening when Canine- Scamp, according to Damien- slipped from his nest and padded out into the cool Summer night. It'd crossed his mind to learn the language of these wolves, but he was no dummy and knew it would be hard work, if he ever accomplished it.
Ach, at a later date. It was too nice a night to worry about things, and it was easy for the charcoal man to quiet his mind and pad on through the twisting forests. Already were they familiar to him, and he'd even found an entrance to one of the tunnels leading below the earth. He hadn't gone in, however, finding the closed in spaces and stale air to be nerve wracking. What if he got lost? Finding the one closest to him and sticking his head in, the man couldn't keep his fire colored tail from rising and bristling in a mix of curiosity and wariness.

Sorry about the wait! Do you mind if we present date this?
Everything seemed wrong. Her heat had passed, but not before Kove had reached her. The days that followed were.. interesting. She no longer felt the need to eat, the mere thought of rabit nearly made her sick. Yet, the next day, she would be hungry beyond compare, her stomach growling louder than she could. Her daily run of the borders soon turned in to a slow walk, for nearly every five seconds did she feel the need to pee. Besides that, she would spend most of her time with her aquired daughter, Qil. It was a more docile position than she had aimed for when the changes of leadership occured. Yet, she could not complain. No matter her acting role within the pack, she was still the biggest bitch on the block, and with her unknown pregnancy hormones, that attitude only increased.

She stepped away from the nursing den, as Qil slept soundly. It was her only chance to get a sliver of peace before the girl arose and began the daily fight for milk. As she walked, her nose picked up the rather odd scent of a.. thing, nearby. "Scamp's" presence and purpose had been unknown to her, otherwise she would have called into question why she was not informed that Damien had aquired his own personal minion.

She approached the male, her stance quite regal and her eyes the familiar cold edge to it. It did not matter the creatures loyalty to Damien, it would submit to her for she was equal in power to Damien's authority. "Who are you?" Her voice was anything but pleasent, a hint of judgement but also an underline of command, for all those under her would learn to respect her superior place, even if it did not fit them to do so.

Absolutely!

Scamp heard the approach of another, pulling his head from the dark and focusing his aqua eyes on Nemesis. She held herself high, and for a moment the charcoal male wondered where she stood compared to Damien. Her words held weight, and it was confirmed by instincts that this was in fact another alpha.
Unfortunatley, Scamp Blackfeather felt he already had a master, that this woman held less command of him than his Dark Master. Boy is he about to wake up. He holds himself stiff, but neutral, showing no defiance but also no submission. He understood her words, but hard as he's been trying he cannot figure out how to make the noises necissary for the words.
        Scamp Blackfeather.
Instead, he only tipped his head and gave her an almost sorry look. If he could tell her, he would. The smell on his pelt though, one that consisted of the sole scent of @Damien, perhaps just as evident as his own personal scent.

Dont hurt him too bad xD

RE: Into The Darkness.... Or Not - Nemesis - July 26, 2016

When she received no word from the other, nor any sign of submission, her brow furrowed in anger. Who was the idiot who let this one in, if it could not show respect where respect was due? It did not even offer a name. The look on her face was of shock, for she had not received such rude behavior from anyone inside of Blackfeather Woods before. She almost did not know how to react. Almost.

"Are you deaf?" Her voice came out in a snarl, no sign of patience though her tone stone cold and the least bit accepting. Her eyes had narrowed, her form swelling so that she may size the other up though she knew she did not need to it. It would submit, like every other wolf in their ranks. No exceptions. She did not take note of Damien's scent mingled with the strangers, and she would not care. Damien was not the only ruler in Blackfeather woods, and he was certainly not the most worthiest. While Damien was by blood, entitled to the pack, they stood with the same power, and those who did not treat her as such would sooner leave than wait around to feel what happened when respect was not rightfully given.

"Submit," It was not a question, nor a suggestion, but a command. And her gaze, the malevolent one that just dared the male not to comply, bore down upon him and did not leave his face. There was one way they could go about this, he would look at her like she was his superior, or she would make him. It was simple. There was not spot in the dark woods for a subject who did not know his place.

RE: Into The Darkness.... Or Not - Scamp - July 27, 2016

Scamp recognized the play of emotions across her face, and at first he was emboldened by her lack of a responce.
But then it changed, and she snarled more words he didn't understand. Her body language, however, intensified, and she infloated with the rank she bore. Literally, she poofed up and glared down on him, spitting a command from her lips. It wasn't a word he knew, but it damn well was something he knew how to do. But would he?
For a brief moment, he did not. The man stayed rooted to the spot, eyes flicking anywhere but the gaze challenging him. It didn't occur to him that he could be forced away by this female, thinking himself safe under the wing of Damien. But this she-wolf didn't think so, clearly, and it was time to make a choice. Did he stand up for himself, fight this woman for the dominance which surely spelt out his loss, or would he make it all easier on himself and just lay the hell down?
Scamp eventually chose the latter, ears falling down and eyes flicking to look at Nemesis' paws. His spine bent as he curved into himself, bowing esentally to the woman, but soon slipped down to press himself flat to the Earth. Now was not the time to fight, to gain rank, now was the time to train, and learn from Damien all he could to be a good little minion. Head between his paws, Scamp's aqua eyes were still avoiding Nemesis, but no sound fell from his lips.

Her cold eyes did not waver from the other's form as his spine bent in a crooked submission, and eventually, to the ground. A small amount of triumph rang in her mind, and the corner of her lips quirked up in a sly smirk. She had proved what she did over and over, that nothing escaped her, regardless of their misaligned loyalties. The other did not speak, so, she assumed he was incapable of doing so if not stupid. Yet, what this odd male had to offer, she was uncertian of. Nevertheless, he was admitted for a reason, and she had no wish to cross Damien for less than a silly reason. Her eyes would be watching, guarenteed.

"That wasn't so hard, was it?" Yet, her tone came condesending, almost daring him to disagree. Perhaps, she was taking it over the top, it did not weigh heavily on her mind. It was her belief that all should find their rightful place, and it was clear this one was meant to be at the bottom.

RE: Into The Darkness.... Or Not - Scamp - August 07, 2016

Nemesis' gaze didn't shiver, didn't move, not even after he'd bowed to the earth. His head didn't move from between his paws, but his ears pinned back and his lips curled. He panted lightly, only just noticable, from stress, and from holding himself back. He had to stay here if he were to be with Damien, and if this woman was his equal then Scamp would bow.... For the time being. She scoffed at him, pressed harder on his thin layer of civil thoughts. Instinct was something he'd grown up living off of, but the wolves here were further along in socialization than the yearling. It wasn't that he wasn't smart, he just hadn't ever known the world that they did, didn't know words. In time, though.... He would evolve. A low growl rumbled in his chest, barely audible, and his aqua eyes slid completely in the other direction.

I hope you don't mind me cutting this early? With the birth there's gonna be so many more threads, I just need to get my old ones out the way. We'll definatly have another thread soon!
Still, the other relented against her authority. Why? She almost asked aloud though she knew the thing had not the brains to speak. "Pitiful," She scowled, unsure if it even understood the meaning of her words. What would posess Damien to accept such an insolent and utterly useless being into their woods? They had no use for it anyways, she was utterly baffled. But no matter, she would not be in the presence of something so inferior.

"Get out of my sight," She snapped, dismissing the other with as little respect as she could muster. No patience, she never had much. In any case, she had better things to do than entertain an insubordinate, like a pack to run.
