LAMOOOO - RIP Issun - July 26, 2016 Today, the speckled male went searching for one wolf in particular. He had met almost all of the wolves that he would soon call packmates. The thought was definitely something he would need to get used to. Issun walked forwards, hoping maybe he would cross paths or catch the scent of the wolf he seeked. He hadn't a clue of what traits he needed to look out for, so he walked blindly forwards. RE: LAMOOOO - Aeronwyn - July 26, 2016 Though no ranks had been set, established, Aeronwyn thought herself only below Malice and Burke. To her Lord and Lady she offered the utmost respect, though the others had yet to earn it. She had yet to seek out their newest member, and had been keeping to herself the last few days. Today she relaxed in the morning sun, stretched out on a large, flat rock near the river. Her eyes were slits, utterly at ease. The rumbling of the river coupled with sporadic birdsong lulled her into a reverie, her muzzle on her forelegs and her form still except for the rising and falling of steady breaths. So relaxed was she that she did not even notice the presence of another, on the verge of sleep and senses dulled. Her delicate muzzle was not strained with anger or pulled into a neutral expression, which was becoming less and less uncommon as the days in her new home went by. RE: LAMOOOO - RIP Issun - July 28, 2016 The sound of rushing water became louder and louder as he walked. It was like a beacon, urging him to draw closer. Upon arrival he spotted a form of a wolf. Issun assumed this was the Aeronwyn Burke was talking about. He inched closer to her. It didn't seem like she had noticed the male behind her yet. "Hello," he greeted. He sat down where he stood, tail curled around his body almost like a cat. RE: LAMOOOO - Aeronwyn - July 28, 2016 "hello" The voice caused her eyes to snap open, her form already lurching to her feet and twisting. Her ears were perked attentively, whole form suddenly tensed and at the ready. Her gaze fell onto a darker wolf, speckles of a lighter shade scattered on his form. Like snowflakes. She deftly leapt from her perch, approaching the other confidently, perhaps a little annoyed. He scented of Malice and Burke, and must have been the new recruit she had been meaning to encounter. She examined him briefly, sizing him up, before speaking smoothly, allowing none of her slight irritation to show. "Greetings. You, I assume, are the newest recruit?" RE: LAMOOOO - RIP Issun - July 30, 2016 He stood still as she sat up. The woman had not appeared too pleased with him inturupting her time. Maybe it wasn't the best time to share words. However, her speech seemed to sound otherwise. The warrior nodded. "Indeed I am," he replied, "I'm Issun." RE: LAMOOOO - Aeronwyn - July 30, 2016 Issun. She nodded, committing the name to memory and attaching it to the face of the speckled wolf. She gazed at him, curious, sizing up the tank-like body. Sort of like Burke, she realised. "Can you fight?" The question was simple brief, and blunt. She didn't feel like attempting to be a small-talking formal woman at the moment, only wished to test this one a little. "Would you match your fangs against mine?" RE: LAMOOOO - RIP Issun - July 30, 2016 He nodded once more. "I can." A form of exciment overtook him at the thought of a good spar. It had been ages and he missed the thrill of it all. The male stood, readying himself for the first move. He answered her next question with yet another swift nod. RE: LAMOOOO - Aeronwyn - July 30, 2016 "Good" She settled into her stance, slipping into motion as a fish might slip into water. She began to circle him, slowly, prowling like a predator. After a few moments of silence, when the air became thick with tension, she finally struck. She leapt, a fluid motion of energy, jaws agape and seeking a grip on his shoulders, chest or neck, whatever she could. RE: LAMOOOO - RIP Issun - July 30, 2016 His eyes followed her form, keeping his body loose and ready for the first strike. Tension filled the air and before long Aeronwyn had lept, jaws open. She had managed to get a grip on his shoulder. The male attempted to grab somewhere along her side. RE: LAMOOOO - Aeronwyn - July 30, 2016 Her grip was made, she had little time to enjoy her mini victory before he managed to score a grip on her shoulder. Remembering Nicolas, she released her own grip and rose in her hind legs, kicking out her front legs in a blur of motion, hoping that they would land on his chest (Likely at such close quarters) and knock him backward, or simply knock the breath out of him. There was no real hurry or rush to this fight, she took the opportunity to practise moves she had been meaning to. RE: LAMOOOO - RIP Issun - July 30, 2016 The victory had been short lived. Issun was forced to release his grip as the woman stricked his chest, knocking some wind out of him. He was forced to shake the feeling off. He did not hesitate to go for another strike, aiming for her side once again. RE: LAMOOOO - Aeronwyn - July 30, 2016 He released, falling back, and went for her side again. However, the same move twice never did bode well, and this time, she twisted away and went for his muzzle, aiming to hold it in her own jaws. Should she get her grip, she would keep it, placing her weight on him and trying to force him to the ground. He was built like a tank, and should this not prove successful, she would resort to better tactics. RE: LAMOOOO - RIP Issun - July 30, 2016 The attack had not been successful. He felt teeth grab his snout and a forceful push. However, the male was able to fight the force and he tried to grab onto her chest. If successful, he would try to push her down with his own weight. wanna do a dice roll to see who wins?
RE: LAMOOOO - Aeronwyn - July 30, 2016 Rolled in slack and Aero wins!
He bore down, and his brawn much outnumbered her own. So she pushed against him, but suddenly released, aiming to roll with him to the ground and continue the momentum until she was atop him. If she was successful in using his momentum, rolling, and getting atop him, she would hold him down firmly by the scruff. RE: LAMOOOO - RIP Issun - July 30, 2016 Suddenly, the world started to spinning as the two tumbled around the floor. Now, it was all about who would end up atop. He had tried his best to have the odds in his favor, but alas Aeronwyn was the one to pin him and claim victory. RE: LAMOOOO - Aeronwyn - July 30, 2016 She held the position a moment longer, atop him, before slipping off and standing a short distance away, panting lightly. She glanced up at him, smiling in the slightest. "That was good. Remind me to challenge you again, you certainly prove a challange." she said good-naturedly. Her victory gave her a good mood, and she was not as arrogant as to rub it in his face. RE: LAMOOOO - RIP Issun - July 30, 2016 He stood up as she slipped off of him. Issun returned the smile, nodding in agreement. "Indeed. We should spar again" He always had room to learn more. "Farewell," he barked, exusing himself to go and patrol. RE: LAMOOOO - Aeronwyn - July 30, 2016 He agreed, and bid a rather hasty farewell, which led her to believe that he may be a little more sore about his defeat then he cared to admit. Still, she did not mind, happy for the chance to spare, and dipped her own head in farewell, making her way inland, perhaps to visit Malice and the pups, now that she was up and energetic. |
