Rowan felt a little better after telling a couple of Lasher's children. They had reacted very differently, of course, but that was natural. They were different beings. Still, Rowan felt almost suffocated a month into her pregnancy, the forest was not the haven it had been only months before. Dawn had broken and she made her way along the trees, weaving in and out to comfort herself among the familiar ancient souls. 

It would be too hot soon to do much of anything, so she tool advantage while she could and wandered the pack. Soon, she wouldn't be able to anymore - her time would be solely with her children.
