It isn't the same! - Sebastian - August 22, 2016

Sebastian was not far away from Pearl now she was in heat. He was usually around her and ready to ward of anyone who came too close for his liking. But all needed a rest, especially Pearl. She had to carry his weight on her back for short periods of time. Sebastian trotted into the Cove. Having his mate go in heat and being able to do something about it was a huge confidence boost for him. There was also something instinctually pleasing in knowing that he was fathering pups, he was furthering his bloodline.

As the male trotted in the Cove to get something to eat his body posture was confident and in charge. Normally he would have carried himself almost like a normal pack member because his subordinates knew he was the alpha. He smelled of Pearl and what they had done together. His pale eyes scanning for some food.

RE: It isn't the same! - Aviana - August 22, 2016

Aviana was settling in nicely, and she felt proud that she had even shown Aduin how to fish. That had taken a lot of confidence and faith on her part, and she had come away feeling better about it. Aduin had seemed nice, and she almost hoped they got to hang out again. But, she wasn't pushing her luck too far.

She had visited her herb cache several times since making it the other day, but hadn't made a sleeping den yet. It was her goal today to at least pick a spot for one. But, when she strolled in, the scents that bombarded her stopped her in her tracks. Her gaze landed on Seb, overly-confident and exuding sex. Aviana froze in fear. Logic told her this was her brother, her savior, but the fear had come back all at once, and stronger than ever. Her mind was not able to process any thoughts, as her instincts came flooding back. Her hackles raised slightly, and she retreated a few steps, memories coming back. Her Uncle had been her Uncle then, and the fear made her believe that she was not even safe from family.

Sebastian was busy with digging out a cache when Aviana entered the cove. He pulled out a piece of meat from the cache, followed by his head snapping up to see who was. Sebastian knew this was the central meeting place but Pearl was close and if it was someone he didn't tolerate close to her he would chase them away. He realized it was his sister and relaxed a bit. She was not a threat, far from.

However Sebastian did notice that she had stepped back from him and looked very fearful. "Aviana," he spoke with worry and stepped forward. His tail was still up and the confidence was still surging through his body. "What happened? You look fearful," he pointed out, he was unaware that it was him that made her so fearful. His stance making his frame more brutish instead of the gentle giant posture.

Her heart began to race as Seb ceased his digging and faced her. But, it wasn't him she seen. The body language mimicked his and it was all Aviana could see. Her body tensed, ready for flight, and when Seb stepped towards her, the instinct kicked in and Aviana turned and fled. She did not wait to talk, be it to him, or to make herself see that he wasn't here.

It didn't matter that he was dead. The fear overtook her and she wasn't able to think rationally. Aviana knew the territory well enough, and she remembered her hiding spots. Plus, she was no stranger to running. She crossed through several parts of land that were underwater, hoping that if he was chasing her, he might loose her scent.

Her Avatar fits even more now! :P

Sebastian was so surprised that the girl was running away that for a moment he didn't follow her. Sebastian frowned as he was not sure what gotten into her. The male was tempted to follow her but he had the feeling he was going to make it worse if he would chase her. He hoped she would stay in the territory. He looked worried and let out a howl for her. But he doubted that she responded.

He was not sure what salted her so. His head was so filled with Pearl's scent he wasn't really smelling it anymore, and he also didn't think that it was his confidence that made her also scared. He really didn't mean to scare her but he had other priorities right now and started digging again to get a meal for himself and Pearl.
