Laughing Place - Doe - August 24, 2016

It seemed to be the most natural kind of thought to have, since adopting Quil into her den. Mere days after the girl's arrival, there she was thinking about little chickadees of her own. Of course she would think about them, with the girl being so little and all, but she couldn't help but feel that such things would be a long way off. The blessing had just barely been granted, everything still seemed so new. It seemed impossible that this would hit her now, when there were worries yet to be seen to.

But the orator of her life seemed to have a funny sense of humor, or else couldn't wait to jam more children into her life - or perhaps her body, this time. The Time of Fertility was indeed upon her, and she felt she had little choice but to see it through. It would not do to ensconse herself in her den and allow such a blessing to pass without a care - not when new blood would surely be a boon to their blossoming pack.

@Skellige, she knew, would have answers for her. She would do the will of her master - nothing more or less.

Decided, now, she rose from the ocean where she'd been cooling the desperate heat that engulfed her, and went in search of the king. Querying chirps alerted all who might be near to her presence, but such things did not worry her. She was in her home, and no ill could befall her, here.

RE: Laughing Place - Skellige - August 27, 2016

The titan had grown used to the strange calls that were associated to certain wolves within the pack. He had known when the witch doctor was searching for him. If the leviathan was in earshot of her, he did well enough about closing the space between them and answering her call. On that particular day, he had nearly missed the voice of his Atoll. So much had weighed heavily on his mind with the addition of two pups to their ranks that he had found himself wandering in something of a blind trance. Everything outside of his mind had faded away until it was unimportant to him.

He should have been pleased. The blessing on their lands had been successful and had granted them everything they needed to endure a lifetime there. Everything had gone well, save for the appearance of the wary Sharkbait. She had not been eager to partake in the rituals that the pack had to offer her, and she had missed out on the ceremony along with the receiving of a spirit guide. The memory of her departure from the scene had bothered him, and continued to bother him in spite of the fact that she was nestled in his den. Skellige could not understand why the sea would have baptized her and returned her if she were only going to abandon everything in store. It was blasphemy.

The chirp caused his ear to swivel sideways and he craned his neck around until his gaze caught sight of the witch doctor. Skellige’s head was in a fog, but he stepped toward her with a few short strides and drew the length of his ears forward. “What is it, Doe?” he inquired gruffly.

She and the brute eventually found each other on their paths, and Atoll did a quick, nervous dance as she approached her brooding Leviathan. The plea of new life prickled on her lips, but she held her tongue when she saw that her king's features were creased with venemous distraction. It seemed rude to be begging more favors when he already had so much on his mind, but then, perhaps he would be happy to hear of this new development.

"I am fertile," she said in lieu of a true greeting - the words were blurted mechanically from her mouth as she struggled to think of an appropriate follow-up to her statement. "M-my heat, I mean. The sea has blessed my womb, and if it is your wish, I would bring cubs of our own blood into the land," Atoll explained, falling back on her timid ways as she worked up the courage to broach this next subject.

"I am your vessel," she said quickly, the words falling like a sworn oath from her tongue. Her yellow eyes bore up at him, fervent in the heat of her devotion and the compelling hormones that now wracked her body. No matter how many times she said the words, she still meant them, but they seemed truer now than ever. "I submit myself to your will as gladly as ever - but... but if it is possible... I would still like to take Szymon as my mate."

The sentence was eked out of her almost against her will, but she made sure to voice it as a statement rather than a request. She had asked him once, and that was all that was needed. What would come of that request was entirely up to her lord.

The swarthy male's ears flattened to his skull at the sentence that fell from her lips. He watched her with a cold calculation and found himself growing antsy the more she continued. She had already confessed her feelings for his brother once before, and he had cast her aside with the excuse that they were trying to form his legacy. They had since blessed the lands and created a home for the wolves around them. Skellige knew that he could not deny her. He had no more reason to. She had done what had been asked of her and it was only suitable that she should receive a reward for the effort that had been made.

Flicking his tongue across his dark lips and narrowing his brows on her, the sea wolf stiffened and drew his head upward. "Very well," he growled softly to the girl. "You may take him. Bring the strength of the Cairn blood to these lands," he then added with an intense expression creasing his already stern features. He had been searching for youth. He needed them to be raised within his home so that he might forge a new line of devoted beasts - those who belonged to the depths. If she would bring them new blood, he would not find issue with it.

lol 'take him' this is great <3
The Atoll did not take his words lightly - with the instruction to take him still thrumming in her mind, the Blackrock beta parted from the man with a quick and grateful bow. She would do as she was told and bring strong boys to her king - the idea made her shiver, and her legs tried to tangle underneath her. A breathless laugh escaped the woman. I'm a mess, she thought brightly, taking a few deep breaths before she continued on her way.

Her thoughts swam between the two men - Szymon and Skellige, Skellige and Szymon - tugging her to and fro as she continued doggedly onward, determined to worry her lord no more. For surely - and she laughed again - propositioning the king would only confuse him, and he seemed to have a great deal on his mind already. Besides, if the Leviathan did not ask for her, she would not dishonor her love for Szymon or the man himself by flouting the favor he'd shown her.

She still thought about it.
