Jade - Portia - August 31, 2016

for @Dio <3 taken place right after the 'meeting' thread for the pups? if that's ok? (:

The meeting ended and Portia said goodbye to little Hvitserk before sending him on his way. When she stood, she looked to Dio and tilted her head. "Mind a walk, hun?" she asks, tail wagging behind her. It was a question, but she fully intended to find a walking buddy. Though she did enjoy time alone to find new herbs and collect plants, she'd be lying if she said Dio wasn't good company. Plants couldn't talk, after all-- and not everything was about botany all the time. She nudges his shoulder playfully in order to fully persuade him to walk with her, dancing somewhat away as she bounced a few steps forward, turning to make sure he was following.

"Just for a drink!" she adds in a chirpy voice, smiling sweetly and batting long eyelashes at him. It was all for fun, really, but she had a bit of extra energy today.

RE: Jade - Dio - September 01, 2016

He has no plans after the formal introduction of the pups draws to its conclusion aside from eventually, patrol, but that was the cycle he upheld daily, unquestionably. To Portia's invitation for a walk, he curved a brow and agreed because he liked her company, and they'd already been in the same place at the same time; so why not. She practically danced away, and he readily took the time to watch her bounce on while he gathered himself up to follow, only after a purposeful shake to his coat.

But with a few deep pushes of his legs, he closed the distance between them soon after with long strides. "Lead the way," he chuffed, not too invested in where they went himself, but he was going -- and he swung his head in playfully to nip her shoulder. Dio outsized her easily, and lacked the same sort of fluidity her grace gave, but all the same, the sentiment remained the same.

RE: Jade - Portia - September 01, 2016

Pleased that Dio had followed, Portia walks with a mischievous glint in her green eyes, tail wagging. When he nips her shoulder, it comes as a surprise for a brief moment, but relaxes back into a sort of normality once again. She side-eyes him for a moment before breaking into a quick sprint, bounding a few yards away before turning, bowing, and letting out a low growl-- not threatening at all. Her tail and rump sway together as she waits for him to accept her invitation and, if he does, take off! She's not a terribly fast long distance runner, but is mighty quick when it came to avoiding. Dio had all the qualities of a proper fighter, so she wondered if he'd be able to catch up and bring her down. She assumed so, but the chase was half the fun.

RE: Jade - Dio - September 08, 2016

Unsure of what to expect exactly from the freckled Skayona, he keeps his eyes on her as she moved away from him, then in the next breath, she's speeding away faster still. He gives her a playful bark of a reply then gathers himself and speeds up on his own. With a few beats, he's able to start catching up. A long stride does the work, but it's not nearly so graceful as her.

He waves his tail up tall even now that he's close to her, and next to her enough to reach his muzzle towards her hip -- which he does, matching with a snort and a soft nip. By another stride, he's able to pull up further equal to her ribs, and even closer.

But he's rusty at this and he's really realizing by how much he outsizes her. Plus, while he knows she's comfortable enough with him, this olay thing is a new turf. What's her pace? Hell if he knows. He doesn't want to be overbearing. Dio lopes astride her, upping the pressure and starting to lean onto her more with every second, a smirk on his face.

RE: Jade - Portia - September 16, 2016

sorry for the delay! it's been a rough few weeks.

Sure enough, Portia's short little legs gave her the disadvantage. Though her quickness gave her a bit of a head start, Dio's size matched her short strides easily, and soon he was right beside her. She let the nips slide, not at all upset with any extra attention, and continued to run. Her pace slowed slightly since her endurance was truly something to laugh at, and as Dio began to lean against her she gave a heavy huff. She slowed even more as his weight bared down on her legs, and (to the best of her ability) she attempted to fight back.

As the Gona pressed against her, she collapsed purposefully(though she probably couldn't withstand much longer anyway), twisting to nip playfully at his chest and lower jaw, but careful not to aim directly at his throat-- that was precious territory. Her movements were graceful as always, though they served little purpose other as she was now on the ground. No matter, she tried all the same.

RE: Jade - Dio - September 21, 2016

<3
For her sake, he tried to be careful and tread that fine line of not too much, yet just enough because he was a forward beast at his core. He did not intend to be overly so, however, nor bear down upon her smaller physique rudely. She was far from deserving of that, and he didn't mean to play rough if that was how he may have translated in points.

But she had her own tactics to employ to match his strengths. When she went low, teeth nipping for his chest, he huffed a playful growl and tried to compensate for her weight no longer beside him -- now, instead, below with her motions smooth. Dio adjusted for defense as well, but really, he didn't find he minded much of her touch on his chest, jawline, or neck. He only arced himself just enough so she'd not find much purchase near his scar. He simply traced what he could lest she slip away, eyes wide and a playful loll of his tongue to soften an otherwise intent expression.

He wondered why this. Why now. But he wasn't complaining, how could he? She'd not rebuked him any.

He wasn't exactly shy about enjoying it as his tail waved steadily, and was slow to bring his rebuttal forward so not to interrupt her. When he did, he moved to aim several lick-nips for the side of her muzzle, trying to press her back towards the ground with the same motion so she wouldn't be able to get up very easily -- unless she simply outpaced him here in these close quarters. The gona wouldn't be surprised, not with grace like hers matched against his.

RE: Jade - Portia - September 21, 2016

Not once did Dio come off as rough or overbearing, though if asked Portia would hardly deny she liked anything rough-- although it had to be just the right amount. Regardless, he was playful and gentle but had just enough brute force to make it worth her while. Portia was stubborn and mischievous, and was quite offended by others letting her win. She had no problems losing, but she was a lady, and ladies could lose or win just fine on their own.

She got the best of him for a moment, a few of her nips landing squarely on his chest. He arched as not to avoid them, but as if to cause her to avoid something-- and she noticed it. The freckled Skayona was too polite to ask why right then and there, but nosey enough to make a mental note of it. Perhaps he was just letting her get a few hits on him, even for a moment, and she'd easily take that for an answer-- but it was worth noting.

When Dio finally struck back, he aimed for her face, causing a quick, feminine wiggle in the woman before his attack hit. It almost took her by surprise-- even after all this Dio somehow hadn't seemed so personable to her-- but the closeness didn't appear to give him any sort of problems. In her shock-- even though it was momentary-- she'd stopped pressing back, making it even easier for the man to push her to the ground, her muzzle moving away as his nipped at it. Her only possibly attack were from her feet, her face preoccupied by the lick-nips. She pushed against his chest and stomach with all her might, though they were short and would probably do little. A few breathy laughs escaped her, her muzzle still moving to avoid him, but still pressed to the ground.

RE: Jade - Dio - September 24, 2016

It is not.. entirely foreign territory for him, but he had become long removed from it. The Rise had been a close knit pack, after all, one that had welcomed him heartily into its fold. Now here he has to be noticeably rusty, and there remains that reservation about it, although it is still far too easy to act against it with her laughter a melody in his ears.

And of course, stakes are far different from his normal here. He's been businesslike in his engagements. A lot of it is simply guardianship, work, etc. This is more delicate, no, more personal..? He's not really put much thought towards anything of the nature, not until right this very second when really, he didn't have time for it. He was already in motion, so why expend the energy on something as pointless as trying to make the most absolute sense of it.

All the same, she granted him a measure of success when he could have it. Her paws went for his chest and underside next, and he pressed back with a low, playful rumble at first, resisting it until he wouldn't anymore. This, eventually, pulled his attentions from her face with low laughter of his own. He almost tangled her legs up in his own, it seemed a potential next step given the playful defenses he would need, but he didn't. Not yet.

He snickered, reaching of course for one last little swipe of his tongue before moving away a few steps and letting her up, should she want it. His tail waved its slowly rhythm while he watched her next moves carefully -- she could very well spring on him now that she was freed, or dart off, or who knew what she could scheme up. He arced his path around her gradually with an extra bounce to his steps, humored, now that the walk had evolved into full-blown something-unexpected.

RE: Jade - Portia - September 25, 2016

He began to laugh at her! Or maybe with her, she couldn't tell, but her face contorted into playful disbelief and annoyance-- like she couldn't believe that he would dare laugh at such a woman like herself. When he stepped away, her muzzle lifted away and she batted long, black eyelashes over her bright green eyes dramatically. She had laid neatly as he moved around, her paws crossed dramatically and her hind legs twisted to lay to one side. She pulled it off rather well, but her smile broke through one too many times though for it to look believable... she still felt she was at least grabbing some sort of attention.

As he bounced around her, she couldn't help but break the act completely, finding it too utterly amusing to hold up her own antics. The Skayona was tempted to dart away, but was still winded from their first run-- instead opting to leap directly at him. She moved quickly, bouncing up and towards him-- landing just in front of him before leaping backwards. She fell to a play-bow, rump swaying. She was not made for defense, in any way, but it was more fun.

She did another quick hop forwards and backwards, her front falling again to the ground. She let out a light growl, a final invitation to bring it on.

RE: Jade - Dio - September 29, 2016

He beholds, taking his time, although she threatened to lure him back in with a batting of her eyes. He holds fast, though, resolving to let her have at the next move in full and to not be greedy himself. While he'd like to pounce, maybe it's the old adage of ladies first ringing in his ears. Or maybe he feels something more delicate like that -- and this, whatever it may be truly -- lie more wisely with her.

She bounced at him, then back. He followed her with his ears forward and tongue hung just slightly. It was obvious he's contemplative, even in light of her clear invitation, but after a beat he romps forward head on to close the last distance just short of colliding. Once there, he lifted up a forelimb to bat it at her right shoulder with his left paw. He balanced sturdily and while he did so she couldn't compromise him easily (a perk of stature like his, he supposed), he reached his muzzle towards her ears with licks. If she stayed low, then all the easier despite him not intending to smother her with it. He rumbled happily regardless.

RE: Jade - Portia - September 29, 2016

He was too study and too heavy to shake him off, his licks covering her ears. It tickled-- unsurprisingly-- and caused her to go into a fit of giggles, wiggling beneath him as she tried to grab some sort of composure. When she'd resisted the urge to wiggle-- for just a moment-- she twisted her head to nibble playfully at his jawline, ears flattened in an attempt to keep them away from him. Her tail continued it's frantic, cheerful wag beside her, but the urge to wiggle in a ticklish fit was repressed for the time being.

SORRY THIS IS SO SHORT

RE: Jade - Dio - October 06, 2016

Vaguely he realizes his racing heart. A steadying breath and he's looking down happily, awash with a simple warmth that he's not really certain what to do with -- or why it's here as she peppers his jawline in licks. Somewhere, he tries to figure this out. Looking at her, her contentedness and joy just end up distracting him anyway in its infectious nature. His tail waves on and on and when he's satisfied, he started to pull back to let her have some breathing room.

But before moving away entirely, he leaned down to press his nose into the fur of her cheek. He kept it gentle enough to not seem brutish, even when he lingered for a beat longer than necessary, yet wanted to be firm enough to make it his point. Only then did he finally put earnest distance between them, albeit not without his own reservations about the topic. He fanned his ears and chuffed lightly, almost conflicted. Soon, he knew he would have to return to duty, but she made it far too easy to want to stay here, like this. Did she know it, too?

RE: Jade - Portia - October 08, 2016

He seemed conflicted, and his actions showed that. He came closer, then moved away, then closer, and then away again. He stared at her, though the thought of him lingered against her cheek. Her eyebrows furrow as she stared at him, tail swishing. She shifts, laying with her hind legs beside her but her front legs crossed.

"Got somewhere to be, hun?" she asks, letting out a heavy breath as her ears cup forward.

RE: Jade - Dio - October 20, 2016

She reads him well, practically remarkably so but he finds he doesn't mind anyway. His ears fan almost sheepishly for he'd not even been thinking about how obvious he may have seemed. Then again, this is a little unlike his norm for lately, not that it is a bad turn of events and his tail still waves slowly. "Probably. Soon, but.." he seemed to juggle with how he ought to say this, not wanting to seem presumptuous. because he's not wrong to say that -- he doesn't want to be greedy either. "You don't make it easy," he sighed softly before he reached to nudge his muzzle against hers and stay close. "..to want to be anywhere else," truthfully, albeit with just enough smirk to still suit him. Dio left it at that.

RE: Jade - Portia - October 20, 2016

She studied him as he spoke, and his nudge caused a gentle prick along the furs on her spine. Her lips copied his smirk, but hers was softer. "Soon isn't now," she stated, her own nose finding the jut of his jawline, her teeth gently preening at the furs along it. Her muzzle trailed down just barely before she pulled her head away to look at him, her green eyes glinting in the sun, an eyebrow raising ever so slightly. "I've got nowhere to be," she said, an invitation of sorts.

RE: Jade - Dio - October 27, 2016

She went on to prove his point, and he exhales a happy sigh -- otherwise, finding himself relaxing with her attentions on his jaw. He's steady in watching her back best he can, although his eyes threaten half-lidded. As much as he'd like to stay just like that, he shifts somewhat. "See?" he huffed before leaning down and pressing his muzzle into the plush fur around her neck. She made it far too easy for him to want to be right here, or more. While still hanging onto small hesitations brought on by shifting terms, her invitation was not one he'd let pass. How could he? Dio shifts and preens his teeth through her coat, and snakes up behind her ear if she lets him. This time, he let the contact between them linger more than before.

RE: Jade - Portia - October 31, 2016

He joked, whispering 'see' like it was in fact her fault that he was still here. Like she'd done this whole thing... she had, of course, but she was only the best at manipulation-- especially when it came to men. "That's not my fault," she purred, soaking up the extra attention she was receiving. Her tail waved for a moment, tilting her crown back as the distance between them became less and less. Normally, around this time, she'd turn and draw him closer still, preening his fur and offering him soft kisses to his jaw and neck. When she'd stop, she'd linger for only a moment before she'd turn and leaving-- the most important part of the chase. Sometimes it ended up taking a bit longer than she'd wanted it to, but it always made the end-result that much better. They worked for her, she was no easy prize. Or maybe she was, but this way she didn't feel like it.

But she couldn't. She did turn and she did preen gently at his fur, pushing her chest closer to his-- but she couldn't leave. Her mind willed her to, because it was simply the next step, but she couldn't. Instead of backing up, her paws brought her forward, stepping between his as her kisses moved to his shoulder, letting out a soft growl.

RE: Jade - Dio - November 14, 2016

because i have held this up so horrendously and we do have newer one, i want to lovingly + vaguely fade this one out <3
And how was he supposed to argue with that? He could muster no true indignation, only a warm, fond puff of a sigh. Fine, fine, his body language suggested as he basked in the give-take of attentions here -- chasing back when he could, and soaking up all he could. Mindful to not be too greedy, yet keenly aware of every touch with a prospering warmth that he hoped he was not alone in kindling, he knew he could very well make himself comfortable like this.

All else be damned, he would indulge. Every sweep of a touch kept him coming back for more, and so long as she let him, he would. Here, with her, fondly growling, nuzzling and nipping, he'd romp a while more.
