Reticulate yet flesh eating, Pythagoras has won - Arch - September 25, 2016

Maybe @Hiram or @Phares? Set a couple of days before Saena and SC arrive

Much like the mountain wolves he had pledged to, the creatures that resided in amongst the paths of the Grotto seemed to portray a nature of hardship and loyalty, maybe fringed with a little aggression. Though, as his mind rattled through these fleeting thoughts, he couldn't help but wonder why. Jhala, as he had met before, was pregnant of course. And disgruntled at that. Yet she seemed welcoming enough so long as Arch himself agreed to follow their ways with the sun. It was odd, yes, and so the pale fellow strode deftly along with a slight dip in his usually so confidant step, emitting a volley of friendly chugs to those ears that mind be kind enough to spare time for a conversation.

Heda had demanded information, and so that's what he would do; engage with whomever he could in a casual way whilst keeping up with his pose.

A voice had distracted him from his daily routine of scratching markings into the rocks and trees that lined the borders, symbols that would protect them against the beasts that lurked to the east. His encounters so far had been nothing but worrying and he did not wish for any to come anywhere near their sacred church. He had just finished carving a crude etch into a tree trunk when he heard the call, large ears pricking in the direction it came from.

Cautiously, the priest padded to where the man waited and, upon seeing him, immediately sized the stranger up. He was a large creature, though seemed friendly enough. Phares offered him a polite though slightly withheld smile, drawing to a stop a few feet away with an air of formality. "Greetings," he said, catching the other's gaze which was such a pure and warm yellow that they disarmed the priest for a moment.

It took little time before his auds caught faint traces of scratching amongst the foliage, loud and purposeful at first before they ceased not moments after. "Hello there," he greeted as the russet outline of a canid made its way up the rise, its shape well defined and sharp for the most part. Without much of a thought, he returned the friendly gesture, offering the man a sideways smile as his plumed tassel dusted the back of his limbs.

"A wolf of the Grotto, I presume?" he continued, eyes darting up and down as he took in the fellows lean figuring. "Say, what were you doing back there amongst the trees? I'm curious to know." He let out a breathy laugh, tongue protruding to dampen his lips in a lame attempt to mask his eager pushes.
