Welcome to our home. - RIP Valette - October 05, 2016 @Althaia :) Pups welcome too
Valette heard about the newest member from Steady, seeing that she was the new Beta now she decided that she had to at least get to know their newest member. The skilled hunter had caught a fat summer hare on the plains below the stone circle. She absolutely loved the new territory, no more steep grounds but endless slightly sloping ground that she could work with. Valette being a hunter it was easy to track the mother down to where her den was. The dark female let out a chuff to sound her arrival and then placed the hare as a gift for the mother. After all she was still nursing and would need extra food to produce the milk. Valette didn't mind the extra work of hunting seeing that she could only master her trade more. Her tail was neutral and face friendly. "I brought you a meal, here. I'm Valette," she spoke as she placed her gift closer to the mother and smiled kindly. She was not sure if the mother was friendly or distant or shy but she was pretty sure she was bound to find out soon enough. RE: Welcome to our home. - Witchhazel - October 05, 2016 Well if you insist xD
Witch had missed the approach of Valette completely - she'd been too busy digging at the far edge of the meadow, head and shoulders submerged in the earth and dirt spraying behind her. It was the fourth hole today - albeit with a break to nurse and nap after the first two - and so far all she had to show for it was dirt-caked fur and a particularly boring, standard rock that was just the right size to cram in her jaws. Backing up with the stone - and other bits of twig, grass, and dirt - proudly between her teeth, Witchhazel turned and pranced towards her mother..... Just to be blocked by the sight of a way too dark flank. A muffled, irritated squeal escaped somewhere from the gross mess, but the pup was too wary of strangers to simply go around! No, she would stay frozen in place and glare at the woman until Althaia came and gave her something to act on - was this woman okay, or was she bad? So far, everyone who came to see them had been pretty nice - Adeline was absolutley thrilling to the younger pup, who wasn't sure what to make of someone inbetween what she herself was, and what her mother was. This woman, dark like Steady, was more like Althaia: she was fully grown and not awkward looking like a pup. RE: Welcome to our home. - Keoni - October 05, 2016 She tumbled out of the den in a whirlwind of limbs at the arrival of another. Her gaze fell to the rabbit, and she stopped dead still, sliding into her clumsy attempt of a hunters crouch. She gave a weak hiss, stalking closer to her rather limp prey. She struck with ferocity, grabbing the animals head in her jaws and shaking it as if it were a rag doll. The stranger she did not care about, unlike her shy sister, she was much more outgoing and vcoal. |
