It's The Eye Of The Tiger, It's The Thrill Of The Fight - Rowan Pryor - October 22, 2016

Dated to the 23rd :3 @Rose @Tigerlily @Hawthorn

It was morning when Rowan's word again changed - he'd so hoped there wouldn't be anything else new, but here were two things - in the sense that now he could vaguely hear and, even more startling, he could see. He was, as his fathers prediciton, albino - afflicted, damaged, different - and when the time came for his morning feeding, it came on reflex. His eyes popped open to reveal pale scarlet irises, and the eldest child of Alder Pryor squealed in pain at the sudden, hurting light.

This was how the heir discovered that he was beginning to hear - flopped over and plugged as his ears still were, it would be easier day by day.... But Rowan didn't know that.

All he knew right now, however, is that this sucked - even in the darkness of their cavern, the first time he opened his eyes was bound to hurt. Lord help him the first time he stood in a ray of sunlight. The boy shoved himself roughly from his mother, turning and knocking skulls with whatever sibling was closest to him - another pained, angry yelp came from his jaws, and it was then he finally turned and waddled away - waddled - but it was unfortunate that in the moment he realized it, the boy lost his balance and fell face first into the stone, boping his nose. This time, Rowan didn't just wail - he screamed at the top of his freaking lungs.

RE: It's The Eye Of The Tiger, It's The Thrill Of The Fight - Rose - October 24, 2016

Rose had been sleeping, since at her age that was about as much as she could do. She would wake up every now and then give a cry for food or wiggle near to her siblings, but for the most part she slept. So when a faint screech came ringing in her ears, the girl awoke with a startle and slowing, instinctively her eyes opened. It was difficult at first with tiny blobs of goop clinging to the corner of her eyes, but eventually they did open and revealed bright sapphire orbs, jems she would hold forever.

The light was painful, and after being surrounded by only darkness, it was also a bit frightening. But she adjusted, and after a few cries of fear the girl settled down and began to swing her head from side to side, trying to make out what was around her. She turned to her pale brother, his screams painful for her newly able ears. So she pushed herself against her mother and did her best to bury her face into the soft plush silver fur. This was a nightmare...it had to be.

RE: It's The Eye Of The Tiger, It's The Thrill Of The Fight - Hawthorn Charley - October 25, 2016

Hawthorn slept, until he heard screams and cries. At first, he did nothing but grumble, shoving his pudgy face into his mother's fur, but as the screams rose in pitch and sound, Haw opened his maw and wailed as well, just to shut up almost immediately after the first note rang through the air, for he heard his own voice, however muffled and suppressed the noise appeared to be. Still, he heard it, and when he turned around and blinked, revealing piercing eyes of baby blue, he did not feel fear, as his siblings did, but rather, curiousity. A black paw reached upwards and the boy pawed at his eyes, blinking furiously as he adjusted to the dim lighting of the den.

By then, he'd ignored his siblings and was waddling forward, furiously eager to explore this strange new place with his newfound vision. But, at that moment, loud screams pierced the air, loud and strangely, extremely annoying now that he could hear them. And painful to the fourthborn's ears. Hawthorn's face scrunched up and clumsily, he waddled and pushed himself forward, closer and closer to the source of the noise. His ears were pressed against himself, to block out everything, and then he bumped into the tiny form of his big brother, the source of the painful screams that hurt his ears.

But while Hawthorn's initial intentions may have been to shut his brother up, he found that he could not do that, as he'd already lost his balance and had fell on top of his runt of a big brother. Confusion - what was happening? Then, annoyance - he began wriggling atop of his brother, trying to find a way to get down. This was not at all what he'd planned to do, and now, his vague anger had turn into fierce annoyance, and as he was still a child, he did the only thing he was capable of and screamed, despite the fact that he could now hear, however vaguely, how annoying his voice was.

RE: It's The Eye Of The Tiger, It's The Thrill Of The Fight - Tigerlily - November 01, 2016

Tigerlily grumbled as her siblings were all crying and she too joined in. Wait a minute. she could hear them. It was a sound, not just a fibration. what was going on? She shifted against her mother until she had somehow turned herself all the way around.

She pulled her eyes open, something she didn't know she could do and was alarmed by the mass of light that poured into her eyes. She let out a scream in pain and fear. What was this, why did it hurt, why did everything look so fuzzy but real.

She tried to turn herself back to her mother to shove her face back in the fur. make the world dark again but she kept falling . She let out helpless cries as she just lay there having given up on moving.

why Oh why did this have to be so difficult

RE: It's The Eye Of The Tiger, It's The Thrill Of The Fight - Rowan Pryor - November 11, 2016

Rowan was calming himself by screaming, however upset he was that he was confused; his sensitive eyes hurt, and the heir began to cry at the presence of a throbbing headache. What was happening to him?

This time, he saw Hawthorn's black and ginger shape coming.... But that didn't mean he could turn and move before the clumsy child toppled over and crushed his older brothers hind end. Nails scraping against the stone, his crying bordering screaming, the boy demanded @Aspen do something about this.

RE: It's The Eye Of The Tiger, It's The Thrill Of The Fight - Rose - November 21, 2016

Her eyes hurt, her ears hurt and just about everything was going to hell in that moment. The russet girl had no intention of listening to her sibling's cries any longer than she had to, and with one last attempt at muffling the screams, the girl pushed herself against her mother. While she could still hear her brother's cries, they were not as loud as before and were quiet enough for them not to hurt her sensitive ears. Rose closed her bright baby blue eyes and gradually drifted off to sleep, a place she knew where pesky siblings were nonexistent.

feel free to skip me, she's just going to be sleeping

RE: It's The Eye Of The Tiger, It's The Thrill Of The Fight - Hawthorn Charley - November 28, 2016

The lump underneath him proceeded to cry and wail, and Hawthorn couldn't help but wince at the sheer intensity. His own wails ceased for a moment as he struggled to get off his older brother, finding him an uncomfortably small cushion to lean on. After several moments of struggling, he rolled off, face scrunched up in intense concentration. The youngest lay on his back for a moment, blinking furiously before getting back on his paws and scanning his surroundings with narrowed and squinting eyes. What was going on? What were these new skills he had?

RE: It's The Eye Of The Tiger, It's The Thrill Of The Fight - Tigerlily - November 30, 2016

Tigerlily frowned as she could feel her siblings still shifting around her and she grumbled because she had finnally been able to get comfortable and yet now she was uncomfortable. She snuggled closer to rose hoping to ignore her brothers but she swore if they continued to get on her nerves, someone was gunna get hurt.

She shoved her face into her sisters flank and dozed back off into the land of sleep letting out the occasional squeak unbenounced to her because she was dreaming.

Skips if you want. I was trying to avoid putting Aspen in this >.< So if we can manage that somehow it would be great but if we can't someone let me know on slack.
