Easy come, Easy go - Dakarai - October 24, 2016

@Olive

Dakarai ambled about, in search of food as always. This region had a few packs for he had smelled them from a distance as he travelled. Boredom was always nagging at the corners of his mind, as he really wasn't a lone wolf at heart but a pack wolf of high standing. Huffing a sigh he continued to search for a few more minutes about to give up when he caught the scent of a female in the area. Ears pricking up he considered finding the woman, for he hadn't seen a pretty face in quite a while. smiling to himself he followed the scent until he was a mere few feet away from finding the source. Letting out a short chuff, he stood still so he wasn't taken as a threat and waited for her reply.

RE: Easy come, Easy go - Olive - October 25, 2016

Apologies in advance, Olive’s a weirdo :)

During her short time as a packwolf, Olive had quickly grown accustomed to her new identity. Her days of frivolous liberation and eschewing responsibility were behind her, replaced with a spirit of fortitude and renewed purpose. Olive had graciously been given the means to a family, the ability to formally pursue a trade and an [ultimately] happy life through Teaghlaigh. Olive [ever a servant to creation] was not a different or redirected wolf by any means - but rather, her eternal reverence swelled to include the Teaghlaigh family as well as the spirits of the forest.

Even so, the sprite had been so preoccupied with the semblance of family that she had somewhat swallowed her own wayfarer desires. However, one bright morning Olive awoke with her hungry heart gnawing at her chest, yearning for the expansiveness that lay outside of Ravensblood Forest. Above all else her target was a mountain that existed far in the distance, scraping into view over the crest of Ravensblood Forest’s canopy. It’s very existence enticed Olive and lit a fire within her, even from afar.

But now was the moment to seize the adventure!

Having been alone in her slumber, Olive was certain no foul play would be committed via an afternoon's retreat to one of planet's most ancient sages [for mountains were masters of conflict and power, and were always willing to share their wisdom]. She took off running past the scent borders of Teaghlaigh, greatly enjoying the freeing motion of her limbs and acute winds whipping at her coat. With her tongue nearly lolling out the side of her mouth in uninhibited joy, Olive cantered over the paths and landscapes which directed her to that distant mountain - the ancient being which called her forth.

As Olive’s alabaster paws carried her over the rolling hills of the mountainside, she slowed her gait to a halt. She had made it and [as she had hoped] the ground here was alive with energy. It radiated in imperceptible…yet deeply soulful waves. Olive felt it whisper in her paws and snake up her graceful legs, quickly overpowering her. The fae was eager to ground herself within this powerful force; as such, she lowered her lithe body to the dirt and became one with the earth.

Then, she was alert.

There was another wolf in the midst, for the winds carried tones of a sweet, musky scent on its fingertips. Olive’s green orbs scanned over the succulent landscape until her gaze fell upon the darkened pioneer, a man who too was earnestly committed to his journey across the gentle slop of the mountain. Olive followed his form as he sauntered ever closer, stopping only when the they were face to face. Olive remained laying the ground, looking up at him - it was atypical for her not to rise as another [foreign] wolf approached, but she was rather reluctant to relinquish her coveted earthly connection. The male chuffed a friendly greeting and a smile tugged at Olive’s lips. She cocked her head to the side and tipped her ears forward, silently inviting him to further introduce himself.

RE: Easy come, Easy go - Dakarai - October 25, 2016

Dakarai watched the female's lips tug up into a silent yet friendly smile and he returned it with his own. Piping up he answered the silent question "Dakarai, and what shall I call you miss?" he asked sitting down and studying her intently. She had seemed focused on something, deep in thought or something like that. The wind around him whispered to him, the leaves brushing together and fillinf him with a sense of contentment. Maybe there was more to this female than a pretty face? "Anthousai..." he murmured, his eyes glazing over for a moment as he lost himself deep in thought. Anthousai was something his old pack believed in, a Nymph that specialized in the soil that grew flowers, and that lived on in the flowers themselves. Snapping back to himself he smiled sheepishly "my apologies, I tend to disappear within myself at times" he said, his tone back to being one of a gentleman.

RE: Easy come, Easy go - Olive - October 26, 2016

The dark brute introduced himself [as she hoped] and sat down near her; an act of intention. Olive considered Dakarai further from a cocked head - He was tall and strong with a thick, swarthy pelt of obsidian. Most noticable, however, were his stark blue eyes, unmissable amoung all that obsidian fur. Perhaps there's more than meets the eyes, but those blue orbs are doing a great job already. Olive laughed to herself and shook her head to rid herself of the silly thoughts.

Olive was wise and intuitive, born with an innate sense of morality and sophistication - however, when it came to matters of the heart, Olive often found herself at a loss. After all, the only males she had spent much time around were her father, brothers and Arturo (relatively speaking, even her time with Taghlaigh was dewy and brand new). If she were ever going to advise her family (which comprised of males and females) on the power of the heavens and natural world, she would need experience the complexities of both genders.

Despite her reservations, the confidence of Dakarai was intriguing and Olive desired [very much so] to learn more.

To Olive, formalities and shallow small talk were an insignificant part of life - a common practice that deserved to be challenged. She desired to waste no time on building these frivolous relationships and instead preferred to probe deep into the divine beings of stangers and encourage them to consider or question their own identities and truths. As the warrior turned inwards momentarily, Olive recognized that this type of conversations might be [not only tolerated, but] welcomed by her companion. Without answering his first question or rising from her reclining position, Olive spoke.

“To where do you disappear when you turn inward, Darkarai?”

RE: Easy come, Easy go - Dakarai - October 28, 2016

To his request for a name, the female didn't respond instead asking where he went when he disappeared within his mind. Hesitating for a moment as he tried to decide whether he really wanted to have a deep conversation with a stranger -no matter how pretty the face may be. "I sometimes examine myself, other times I Disappear into the memories of the past. More often than not, it is the second." he replied to her question. "And when i find someone interesting, sometimes I think of my beliefs." he added, choosing the word 'beliefs" over "religion" for the reason that in his opinion a religion needed many followers. His beliefs had only a few other wolves that believed as well. "Do you ever feel that there might be more to life than just hunting, eating, fighting, and dying?" he asked, eyes scanning her face with interest.

RE: Easy come, Easy go - Olive - October 30, 2016

Olive’s ears stood attentively at the top of her head, not like the silver peaks of a medieval crown [with her muddled olive-colored orbs parading as the crown’s jewels]. She really could empathize with Dakarai’s recollections [fondness?] of the past. Olive; when she divinely aligned with the earth and the natural world sung their songs & spun their tales in her mind [even herself, the mind of a small, God-fearing wolf], the subject was almost always scenes of the past. Consequentially, Olive found herself contemplating and musing often in scenes times past. Scenes of herself, in times past. It was a blessing as well as a curse, she knew.

“I know what that can be like," Olive responded, her voice spun into a fine silk. Her tone dropped a note and she looked up to Dakarai from her relaxed place upon the cool, mid-autumn day grass. He not only entertained her musings but returned them; and thus, Olive decided the male piqued her interest. She pushed herself up onto all fours - matching his own stance.

The spectre’s voice was deep as he spoke of his beliefs and asking her a question concerning life and death. Does this mean I’m interesting? She chuckled to herself. A little odd, maybe. She parted her lips to respond.

“I do believe there’s more. More than anything, I believe that.”  Cocking her head at Dakarai again, Olive wondered if the male were simply entertaining her..or was truly interested in spiritual matters [or if he was just as crazy as she]? Her tiny, creme paw stepped forward. The fae lightly dragged her other paw forward to meet the first; an action that completed a step in the male’s direction. Anthousai… Is that what you said? What does that mean?” Olive paused for a moment. “What language?

RE: Easy come, Easy go - Dakarai - November 01, 2016

Eyes showing curiosity even more now that the woman had said she knew what it was like to muse about the past. Watching as she stood up to all fours, he was wary again but only outof habit.Ears twitched slightly as they picked up the beautiful notes of her voice, pleasant to listen to for sure. Head tilting as he heard her chuckle, he felt his lips quirk up in the beginning of a smile. This woman was odd, but in a refreshing and fascinating way. Her response to his own inquiry was simple, but he nodded accepting the answer the way it was given. "Anthousai is Greek. It is the name of a specific type of Nymph, ones that deal with the earth. More specifically the flowers and trees, fruit trees especially." He smiled at her, half embarassed that she had caught the word he had called her when he first saw her.

RE: Easy come, Easy go - Olive - November 03, 2016

Olive dipped her head as Dakarai explained the meaning of the foreign word. His delineation of the loric nymphs was endlessly fascinating to the grey mistress. Fruiting flora were few and far between where she resided in Ravensblood Forest and remained a consistent mystery to Olive, who deigned to sneak a morsel of thesweet nectar whenever possible. To her, these rarities represented abundance and new life [an element of this humble existence that always seemed slightly out of alignment, unbalanced]. Consqeuentially, Olive had a feeling that these nymphs were, too, a rarity.

“Anthousai,” the honeyed word slipped off of her tongue a second time. “I hope to meet one, someday soon.” Perhaps she already had? The fae had a sneaking suspicion that the word was elicited by the earthy impression she left on most others [quite intentional] – thought, she did not want to make any assumptions.

Olive cocked her head as she further regarded Dakarai's stately presence. His smile was endearing [charming?] and his persona was authentic. He spoke laconically, which she understood as his unembellished truth – something she deeply respected. Though Olive enjoyed the company of most living [and, of course, nonliving] beings, the dark king commanded her attention in a different way.

“Olive,” she confessed. “My name; that is. I'm Olive.”

RE: Easy come, Easy go - Dakarai - November 04, 2016

"olive...." the name rolled off his tongue smoothly, and he nodded. "its a pleasure to meet you olive. quite a pleasure" The flirtation was meant to be subtle, and a shy glance was tossed her way. She was quite beautiful but it was the way she spoke, the way she seemed to be rooted deep into the earth itself that intrigued him to even think of her in...that way. "what do you strive for in life olive? or are you content with things the way they are?" he asked, wanting to hear more about her life and feelings.

RE: Easy come, Easy go - Olive - November 06, 2016

It felt good when he said her name. It thrice rolled of his tongue and she craved for, yearned for, a fourth. The pale creature drew nearer to him, eyes rising to meet his own. She did not know if he was feeling the same way as her, as he kept his words guarded, reserved. But there was something about the way he said her  name…

Plus, he was asking her those metaphysical questions that she absolutely loved. This interaction had already provided such unexpected bounty in quite unexpected forms.

“Oh, I strive for peace above all.... and I have much work to do. Too much heartache exists in this world, but it doesn’t have to be this way.” Olive paused, gauging his reaction before continuing. Then she dove in her philosophy. “Spiritually, we live in a democracy. The universe did not create life in the hope that a majority would fail. We all operate on the same plane of existence... and the more we harness that energy, the more at peace we can be.” Her dark, emerald eyes flared at him.

“Doesn’t that sound… incredible?”

She exhaled heavily, unable to think of any word more accurate. It truly was her passion and goal in life: to read the gospel of the universe and spread its light amoung all the lives she could possibly touch.

“And you, Dakarai…” Olive returned the favor, letting his name slip from her tongue. "A man does not saunter across a mountainside alone, uninhibited, without being driven by conviction. I implore you to divulge, so that I may be of assistance." She left it open-ended, a smoldering question between them. And so Olive stood near him, with her feet firmly planted on the earth and her head in the sky.

RE: Easy come, Easy go - Dakarai - November 09, 2016

Neon eyes watched as her pale form drew closer. He drew in her scent and was pleased with its earthiness, whether it was from laying on the ground or merely her own intoxicating aroma. The answer to his questions was a lovely one, as well as intriguing. "peace....I've always been taught that before peace comes great strife. That strife is what drives me Olive. I crave a home where I can grow stronger both mentally and physically. Peace is something that always seems to keep itself one step ahead of me, urging and seducing me to chase after it constantly" in a few honestly put sentences he had responded to her words and question. "You however...you are the embodiment of peace. I feel it coming off of you in waves. Beautiful intoxicating peace in a women named Olive" he said, his tone dropping lower to an almost husky level as his gaze swept over her with an almost longing look.

RE: Easy come, Easy go - Olive - November 11, 2016

Olive’s heart ached, but just for a moment. Her friend spoke of cheerless things, strike. a disconsolate lack of peace. Olive’s eye softened, but just for a moment. She felt sorry for him, but just for a moment. After that moment Olive tucked Dakarai’s honest words into her back pocket - should they see each other again, the nymph would ask him more and delve deeper in that psyche of his. However, Olive did not need to know Dakarai for long to see that he was durable [and very capable].

The brute spoke her individual embodiment of peace - Olive returned his raw candor with her own. “...and I feel the resiliency and strength in you; it nearly overwhelms me.” Her voice was light, words carried upon her exhale [hushed by the thick, sonorous vibrations that rang between them].

Dakarai’s response completely answered question about what drove him to ascend the gently sloping Sunspire: he was looking for a home. Well, she thought. What a place to look for a home!  The brilliant sun had begun its descent behind the mountain, casting long shadows across the soft grass underfoot. The sky had taken on a smattering shades of gold and pink: the vibrant colors that accompanied autumnal sunsets. Distant insects sang their melancholy ballads and field mice scuttled about as they prepared for their impending winter dormancy. The air smelled strong and held a chill that nipped at Olive’s sensitive black nose. It was truly a resplendent scene. After all, there was a reason that the Sunspire had pulled Olive [from afar], drifting East atop its strong gravatational pull… and it seemed she hadn’t been the only one.

Perhaps the conversation had become a bit too somber. Olive’s introspective ways sometimes had that affect on wolves.... and she had no plans to distress the swarthy warrior; the object of her current interest.

So, it was time to brighten the heavy colloquy.

Olive smiled coyly at Dakarai. Her head swam with the effervescent possibilities.  The mistress wasn’t playful per se, and she had gauged almost immediately that Dakarai wasn’t either. Good. He seemed abstract; appreciating the solidarity of the earth beneath his feet while pondering the immaterial thoughts of wolves who had experienced trauma. Fascinating. Inner fire flared and seared within the confines of the grey she-wolf’s belly.

“If I truly am peace incarnate…” Olive began haughtily, shifting her gaze.  He had indeed flattered her by using the words beautiful and intoxicating. “then, as you said, it is my duty to seduce you.”

“…to chase after me.” She quickly finished, feeding his own words back to him. She smiled coyly - perhaps just a bit of playfulness couldn’t hurt. They grey woman sidestepped, momentarily unable to break eye contact with the black wolf in front of her. Then she spun and began to trot away from him, taking light strides through the tall field grasses. Only if Dakarai accepted and followed suit would she quicken her gait.

RE: Easy come, Easy go - Dakarai - November 11, 2016

Oh gods... Her voice had lulled him into a deep longing. Not exactly lust, for he wasn't prone to such savage feelings, but desire and fascination indeed.  She spoke of a sensed resilience and strength within him, and he wondered if indeed that was how he was. He knew he had physical strength and resilience, but it seemed to him Olive meant mental strength or resilience of the mind.

He longed to draw closer to the woman, but when a coy look took place on her maw and she spoke flirtatious words he raised his chin watching her with a simmering gaze. He chuckled at her words, eyes moving to watch her step away from him and dash away a few feet slowly. "Oh man..." he said, not so poetic anymore. Swallowing thickly he lifted a foresaw, hesitating only briefly before he loped after her coming up behind her flank his Tail raised in a playful manner.

RE: Easy come, Easy go - Olive - November 12, 2016

He said some words but Olive didn’t perceive them, as her silver ears were cupped to listen for the familiar sound of footsteps behind her. The moment his footfalls registered with her, she was off. Though Olive had no intention of slipping away entirely, she though it coquettish to remain right outside of his grasp. The bantam woman’s cream legs thrust out in front of her in a jaunty run, carrying her dainty body light across the sweet grass. Olive would never be a skilled fighter or mercenary - not only did her beliefs and persona repel violence, but her lean stature prevented her from striking any fear into the hearts of wolves. But sprinting, this she could do. Her body was built for sprinting.

There was a smile stitched upon the siren’s mouth - one of liberation and fervor. This all was a new feeling for Olive, who often forgot that she was an old soul stuck in a young wolf’s body [with only 3 years of life behind her]. She had spent most of her life with her natal pack - of course, they had deep love for one another, but it was familial love; not romantic. Therefore, any deep passions that she did entertain were thrown towards the heavens, bore deep into the earth and existed within every living thing.

The only love Olive had ever bore was devotion to blood relatives and her intimate respect to the laws of nature. But romance… this was new. Her body felt alive, energized not only from the physical movement but from the powerful energy that pulsed from him. She was balanced in the present; living in eternity.

The woman turned her head to look over her shoulders at the dark presence at her heels. He was behind her, chasing after her, interested in her, wanting her.  She very much so wanted to be caught, to feel him against her body. The very thought that they hadn’t yet touched was exasperating to Olive…but still she pranced away from Dakarai, every so often swinging into a detour in a playful attempt to lose him.

OOC: Permission granted to totally pp Olive - i’ll leave it open to you whether he catches her or not ;)

RE: Easy come, Easy go - Dakarai - November 12, 2016

Dakarai loped after her his eyes catching hers as she looked over her shoulders, a charming grin stretched across his maw as he chased her. As she went to make a sharp turn he blocked her, using his shoulder to gently bump her back. Ears perked forward and tail raised and wagging, he touched his nose to her ear whispering "I've caught you now...I...I wish to be closer to you Olive"  he breathed, running his nose down her neck fur and drawing in her scent. "So beautiful..." he breathed, before forcing himself to pull away. He didn't want to frighten her, or make her feel forced. Instead he gazed deep into her eyes "Anthousai is too plain a deity for you...You are..a goddess among others" he said softly, whispering sweet words to her. Unlike other men he meant every word he speaks outloud, and these words were no different.

RE: Easy come, Easy go - Olive - November 12, 2016

Her wish had been granted - Dakarai had overtaken her. With a bump of his shoulder the chase was over and Olive slowed to a halt, her breath quickened from exertion. Then [with a spark] they were touching, brushing against each other. Olive relished the sensation, her exhalation catching in her throat.

“…and so the dark king caught the peace which he sought,” she breathed [with some difficulty] in third person, sensing his maw press into the fur behind her ear.  His words sang in her mind and she imbibed them deeply, allowing them to drench her mind. It’s as if he knew her desires and bore them into reality [almost as a gift], pleasing her immensely.  Dakarai, closer than he had ever been, was a large wolf and she felt quite petite next to him - yet, at the same time, spiritually infinite and connected. Vulnerable, yet secure under his  simmering gaze. Liberated, yet innocent in her situational thinking. At that moment Olive knew nothing but the male next to her, tenderly breathing into her ear. The pale creature was quite a strange combination of a woman and a child: impeccant, yet coquettish.

He drew closer to her - Olive couldn’t help but gently press her form into his. He was strong and felt solid against her body. She relished the sensation; the union, spun from nothing, stroked every part of her being. For a moment Olive mused upon their quick nature, but  she relinquished and quickly fell back step with Dakarai for he overturned his companion to anthousai, electing to use goddess instead. He had taken a step away and was looking into her eyes; past the glowing green windows into what existed beneath.

Unable to find her words, Olive closed the space between them, slinking closer to him until her pale cheek alighted with his own. The siren continued to move against him, her slender head traveling down his dark-furred neck.

“There is much I wish to know about you,” the grey mistress purred into his chest. This wasn’t a wanton interest into another’s collective consciousness, but a visceral thirst for her captor.

RE: Easy come, Easy go - Dakarai - November 12, 2016

They touched and he felt a kind of electric tension grow between them. Looking into the depths of her eyes deepened and strengthened the yearning for which he had for this pale embodiment of peace and rapture. Then she came forth and pressed her cheek against his own, and her closed his eyes turning his face so his nose pressed against her lips. The gesture showed trust for in this position she could tear his face wide open. Her body glided against his and he leaned into her touch "what do you seem to know about me? I will tell you willingly the answer to your desires" the words were spoken with a double meaning, one he was unsure whether she would understand.

RE: Easy come, Easy go - Olive - November 12, 2016

Dakarai’s double entendre was not lost upon the girl. Olive stifled a youthful giggle, never having experienced a wolf who said such things to her... such sweet things, such rawness, such enlightenment. She was drunk upon him and not afraid to ride the waves of their sudden affiliation.

What I really want is to feel you, to know you, her mind cried. But the druid’s dear, beloved Mother had warned her of licentious wolves [who only sought the carnal knowledge of others].  She materialized in Olive’s mind, her mother’s stern [yet infinitely kind] visage floating in front of Olive’s awakened third eye. It was gave her pause, but Olive felt deep within her soul that Dakarai was not the wolf of her mother’s foreboding words. Perhaps, still… it would be wise to take heed.

Oh, the struggle! To fight the urge that existed so strongly within her… it lit every nerve of her body on fire. From her protected place on his neck the shewolf deigned to reach up and gently lick the underside of his muzzle, an act of her emotional surrender to him. His fur was soft against her pink tongue and Olive found it difficult to resist a second touch. She moved her body next to his, her grey shoulder met his black shoulder and her hips quickly found the concave curve of his belly. She openly seeked his nearness. This definitely was hard.

Perhaps… she mused. Perhaps she wanted more from him. The attraction flowed so freely between them - something that felt so good couldn’t be random. That couldn’t just be happenstance. Olive held close to Dakarai. Did he want more from her too?

“I wish to know what it is like to…” Olive's voice took on every color at once, in a column of light. “sleep through a winter’s dream.. with you.” Olive new naught of the nonsense spoke, simply letting slip any beautiful words that did enter her mind. Olive may be tentative to relinquish her virtue to him [yet], but she saw no reason not to be entirely liberated with her words.

“I know naught of what you’ve done to me.” She said, just above a haughty whisper.

RE: Easy come, Easy go - Dakarai - November 12, 2016

He held still as she licked his muzzle, the surrender of the action touching him in a place deep within him. He had thought that place could not be touched by a woman, yet it stirred causing his breath to hitch and a flood of heat to rush through him, setting him ablaze. She pressed against him, her small body fitting into his curves like a puzzle and he lay his chin on top of her head, an affectionate gesture. She spoke of sleeping next to him, and the words were indeed chosen a bit oddly but he couldn't blame her, not at all. "Nor you to me my dear Olive. I wish to remain close to you. Not just tonight, tomorrow or the day after, but I wish to remain by your side until we know one another completely." he said with a warm tone.

Lifting his head he nibbled softly along the scruff of her neck, not quite reaching her back as he wanted to seduce her on both their terms not just his own.he licked her cheeks and then, in a gesture unlike him he rolled over onto his back and gazed into her green pools. "I want to do this on your terms as well as my own Olive. I don't wish to rush you. Love takes a strong bond." he said carefully, leaving out the part where he would state that he could indeed love her. The words could be taken the wrong way, so he would wait.

RE: Easy come, Easy go - Olive - November 12, 2016

There it was. Olive had laid herself bare in front of him and had been rewarded handsomely. The words tonight, tomorrow and the day after dripped from his mouth as he wished to know her completely. The thought made her squirm with desire. Olive knew what they were doing; she knew what this was. It was the dance of lovers, the intimate, ethereal spiral about which bards wove their ballads. She had seen it in person but now knew what it felt like to be in its throes.

Though, songs were just songs and words were just words. What did it take to truly know another completely?  It was interesting to see how often the two parts of one whole could be so divergent [yet, at their core, completely cohesive]. It was as if Dakarai held a mirror up to Olive; showing her all the things that she had never known before. The mistress knew nothing about him, but somehow felt as though she understood him on a deeper level.

“Dakarai,” she could not say his name without needing to touch him. “…my king upon the mountain.” Olive cooed into his ear, briefly standing over him. The brute had rolled onto his back in front of her, which very rarely did she see any male do - no matter what their state of being. But then Dakarai used the word that had drifted in the background of her mind - Love. His deep blue eyes stared back at her, gauging her reaction. The femme looked down at him, tail swaying in a sultry wag behind her.

Olive had happened upon quite a gentleman; she appreciated his refined nature and openness to her. This was most definitely not the wolf of her mother’s tales, meant to frighten her at night. Olive dropped her body to the grasses next to him and draped a leg over him.The mistress drew herself closer to him and lay her head among the fur on his chest; she found it even softer than the fur on his maw and it smelled strongly of Dakarai’s dizzying scent. “A strong bond, yes.” The druid murmured into him.

“You sing the most honeyed songs to me… but do you speak the truth?” She raised her head from his chest, giving one of his forelegs a lick on her way up. It was not a harsh inquiry, but did hold a purpose. Olive had a fragile heart: one that freely soared towards the heavens but ached if it fell too fast. She confessed unto him. “I’m not entirely sure that I could handle the universe showing me such happiness, only to take it away.” She did not truly think the gentleman would disappear on her, but the the sun was quickly fading. She wondered what truths daylight would bring.

RE: Easy come, Easy go - Dakarai - November 13, 2016

okay here is where the plotting unfolds. I had him accepted into Blackfeather woods. I am willing to take a risk on dakky's life and have him escape to be with her. I don't see Olive fitting with a bloodthirsty pack do you? That would mean the blackfeather pack would Mark him a traitor and possibly kill him. Any ideas?

She had stood over him for a tense moment, before she uttered some enticing words and called him her king. The title almost caused a foolish grin to settle on his maw. She dropped next to him draping a paw over his body and resting her head on his chest. He listened to her imploring question and he sighed softly, rasping his tongue across her nose "Innocent goddess, a false word rarely escapes my mouth. This is not one of those rarities. I have not felt this stirring in my heart since..since Oxsana. She was my mate and the mother of my children. She was murdered in front of me with my children As well. I turned cold as ice since that day."

" But my dear Olive, you have stirred within me a forgotten feeling. One of passion and desire, of the need to protect. You have brought me peace and I detest the thought of having to chase after it again."
he spoke freely, wincing only slightly at his deceased lover's name. The words made his heart fully awaken and he stated at her with raw, emotion filled eyes.

RE: Easy come, Easy go - Olive - November 13, 2016

It saddened Olive to think that such tragedy could befall the cavalier who lay beneath her. His path in life had led him through something truly macabre; life had been truly unfair to him. She saw him, saw his pain, and knew Dakarai would be a good lover to her.

“I do not wish to replace Oxsana…  I feel a deep respect towards her and your her memory of her.” Olive implored, her eyes probing his. The maiden reached her neck down to kiss the prince and nuzzle into his ambrosial cheek. “She gave you happiness, and for that I have the most gratitude. I'm so sorry that life saw fit to take them away from you.” The femme felt her heart leap forward in earnest, eager to be the shower that woke him up and made him clean.

Dakarai had torn himself open, in front of her - she could clearly see all parts of him, from the darkest corners to the brightest surfaces. The smoldering woman saw herself, too, reflected within him. Dakarai was everything she was not, Olive already knew. They may have not known each other for more than a day, but time was suck a fickle concept; how reliable could time be as a measurement of love, when a union so new felt so… absolute? Their physical relationship had been born into existence that day, but their esoteric souls were bound together by eons. He knew that the place below her neck was her favorite to be touched. He knew how to reach inside her and cradle her heart in his hands. That, Olive believed, meant so much more than anything ‘time’ allowed.

He had been so honest with her, and it was time to be entirely honest with him. Though this was a part of herself she rarely hid from others, it felt strange that Dakarai did not know its entirely.

"I commune with the spirits of the heavens and the earth…” Olive unfolded, clearly showing him her hand. “Sometimes, I feel as if I know our natural world better than I know myself. They, they sing to me…” Olive’s soft timbre tapered off, regarding him closely to see if he were receptive. “The heavens embraced me when I was a young pup and chose to keep my soul among the stars. But even there, I have not experienced the joy that i’ve felt with you.” It was not the tragic story that Dakarai spun unto her, but it was a deep part that she felt not a lot of others understood.

The sun had disappeared almost entirely behind the looming mountain, casting the duo in dark shade and the security of night. Olive found Dakarai’s featured obscured by the twilight, so she elected to stay in great physical contact with him, using almost every part of her body.  “Stay here with me,” the siren beseeched him. “Stay with me tonight… out of view, away from prying eyes. The morning light will bring with it the complexity of daybreak, but tonight…here… we are infinite.”

Olive laid her slender, smokey head next to his, confident that she would be able to kiss his eyelids in the morning.

RE: Easy come, Easy go - Dakarai - November 13, 2016

Dakarai did not act surprised or frightened by her information, instead he smiled and licked her nose once more. "That must be why I felt drawn to you. See...my home pack believed in the four main gods and goddesses. Mother earth, bringer of peace and the lifegiver to all beings was my patron goddess. She was one of the most important. I myself am dedicated to all the things she made. The soil, the sky and clouds, trees and plants you name it. You...you remind me of a being from her legends. A daughter was made and named Lilani.Lilani was mother earths child and was given the gift to hear the music of nature. Natures music was the ultimate gift for Lilani but other gods grew jealous"

Dakarai paused realising that he had lost himself in legends again."Um...long story short, Lilani was thrown out of the the gods realm and reborn on earth. The only thing was that she was reborn into a mortal body and lost the ability to hear natures music. So now she is repeatedly reborn into mortal bodies, on an endless search for earths peace bringing music"

Dakarai smiled and sighed "the only difference is that you make your own music. Your movements your voice they are all a beautiful Symphony" He said warmly and pressed himself as close as he could to her. "I will stay the night with you my dear, but then I need to explore the lands some more. I give my word that I will ccome to you, just tell me where to find you"

RE: Easy come, Easy go - Olive - November 14, 2016

Perhaps after your reply we fade out and wrap up this amazing thread? <3
Also, the title makes me laugh now :)

The he was again, captivating her with glimpses of his subconscious. She now deeply understood why he used the descriptor which so often fell from his tongue, goddess. Olive listened to him, nearly swaying as his deep voice painted vivid pictures in her head. She was like a child, listening to stories told to her as bedtime crept ever closer, drinking them in and believing them to be true. They sounded much like her own gods, though hers were left unnamed… universal spirits, rather, than deities.  But Olive did see herself in this Lilani; she was simply a servant of the earth, delivering its masonic words to wolf kind.

But if that were the case, why did their microcosm reward her so greatly, in the form of the familiar stranger that lay beside her?

Who knew his beliefs would align so closely with her own? It was clear to Olive that their attraction was indeed no accident, but an event written in the stars. Her heart, which had begun to beat wildly during their passions and romance, slowed and eventually locked in-step with his. He was hers. Hers to love and hers to pour her heart into. Every loneliness that ever wrecked her soul was admonished and thrown to the wind. Olive did not believe that she would ever feel loneliness again.

"I see you, Dakarai.” Olive spoke once he was finished. “Your beautiful words...they reflect something deep within you. Your poetry has shown me that place within you, that place that holds tight yet burst in your chest. That part of you never truly changes. Your beliefs, your liked and dislikes, you passions and innate desires... everything that makes up your true self... it never changes." Her voice lowered, hoping an air of seriousness would convince him of this. "The world moves on leaving us in its tumultuous wake. It ebbs and flows around us - but no matter what happens around us, our core remains the same." Olive bent her head downwards to lick Dakarai longingly on his chest, where his heart lay deep inside his body. All love flowed from the heart, this she knew.

"I don't believe that you turned to ice, as you say you did. You were always there... perhaps your spirit were latent, but it was always there. I see you for what lies inside your core. I can see your spirit wake from its slumber, and I cannot look away." Olive was unable to stop talking, eager to shower her love upon him. It felt so good to say these things and mean them with her entire esoteric being.

They were to spend the night together, drifting off into a deep unconsciousness side by side. But he was soon to be gone, to explore the lands that encircle the mountain. Olive nodded silently to him, as she intrinsically knew what it was like to be held in wanderlusts's clutches. She wondered if his journeys were spurned on by his deceased family - she hoped it wasn't, as those emotions could easily spiraled out of control. Dakarai would always have a home with her, but she also trusted him to go forth in the world. She would expect nothing but the same from him.

Oh, but how she truly wanted to take her cavalier to her home and show him the forest which she loved. She wanted to create a home with him and bear his pups and feed him his meals and nestle into his calming shoulder whenever the need arise. To share in his joys as well as his sorrows. She had since decided that she wanted to know him carnally, but choked down those fiery desires - her body would be his entirely, should  he return to her [as he promised].

"I live west of here with my family, in a forest shielded by this mountain. It is near to the coast, but not entirely upon it. The forest is almost entirely giant sequoias - you will love it."

Olive she withdrew the leg that splayed over him and she rolled into her back next to him.  "If I am a symphony, you are the conductor of my orchestra...." her voice faded as a song was brought forth. Soft sounds fill the space between them. The song held no words but simple melodies, flowing into creation at the behest of her pink tongue. Tomorrow he would leave, but tonight she was content to stare into the heavens with him, philosophize about the constellations and eventually lull each other into a blissful sleep.

RE: Easy come, Easy go - Dakarai - November 14, 2016

I know right? So ironic xD I shall Archive this after this post.

Dakarai listened to her words of love and wisdom, eyes glowing with enraptured love and desire. Her words...those were what had originally awakened his soul and heart, and warmed the motionless passions in his heart. the emotion in his eyes turned to a soft look of love, like warm flowing honey he swept his gaze over his girl, his lover, his soulmate.

"Olive my sweet, innocent goddess from above we will continue our music. No matter how far I go tomorrow morning I will return to you. I need you my darling, I'm afraid that even parting tomorrow will be torture. Every night I will look up at the sky and speak to you, praying the sweet nighttime breeze will carry my love to you. Lets sleep my love, and enjoy the peace of the night together." with those words he crept closer to her and promptly put his head on her chest, his nose touching the pulse spot under her neck and gave that spot a tender lick.
