You ain't seen nothing yet - Abraxas - October 27, 2016 @Astrid he had not spoken since the encounter with the foolish stranger, bring his grand total of times having spoken up to two. today, he lurked near the den, twisting around to clean the fur of his spine with rough, hurried strokes of his teeth. then, quite suddenly, he stopped. he pulled his head around carefully, eyes narrowed as he moved his maw, slowly, intently. then, he spat. and it was with a surprised expression that he stared down at the thing on the ground. a tooth. his tooth. his tongue ran over the new vacancy in his maw slowly as he stared at it, and for the first time, the boy felt mildly concerned. RE: You ain't seen nothing yet - Nocturnal - October 27, 2016 Astrid had already lost a tooth, had already spoken (too many times if you would ask her family) and was fairly happy with how life was turning out. Okay, there were some very annoying parts (aka her siblings and the black male that kept asking for her attention) but for the main part... Yeah, it still kinda sucked. It was all well and shit, but nothing amazing. Life was life, and at least she wasn't a squirming ball of obsidian anymore. Okay, she still was, but a bit bigger now with a brain that worked like a child's would- not a mindless milk sucker.
She exited the den with a bounce to her step when she saw it; her brother spitting out something white and small. The weird girl playing the tiny wolf girl would say the boy was gay and had just finished something interesting- Astrid was not so funny. She found it funny though, and was chuckling madly to herself at the sight.
RE: You ain't seen nothing yet - Abraxas - October 27, 2016 Laughter. his head whipped around, to land on his sister. his concern, the most fear he had ever felt in his short life, was being laughed at. had he fingers, he might have flipped a certain one in the direction of his sister, and yet he had to settle for a death glare. he was the judge of souls. he was the Guardian of the wood. and his sister was laughing at him. seldom did he feel angered, yet his siblings tended to make him feel so. he curled back his lips, exposing his tiny teeth (well, whatever ones remained) and shot her a glare. RE: You ain't seen nothing yet - Nocturnal - October 27, 2016 She did not care whatever the boy was- she was it better. She was and could do everything better than her siblings, which is why she felt she deserved a title better suited than just a young. She was a princess - daughter of Nemesis and Kove, and wolves would know. Even her brothers would know that the girl of the litter was the most powerful. Astrid snickered at his death glare, for it again made him seem so stupid. His tooth had fallen out, big deal! It wasn't the end of the world, though her laughter did end when he revealed a silent snarl.
She stepped toward him, puffing up her speckled chest with pride, a serious look on her face. She did not tolerate such behavior from her stupid brothers, and she would let them know.
You are made of stupid. She told him, her English pronounced weirdly and unnatural for the language of her father was engraved in her tiny brain. She revealed her own set of teeth, a small attempt at growling left her throat too - all to prove that he was indeed "made of stupid". RE: You ain't seen nothing yet - Abraxas - October 27, 2016 He made a noise. a snarl, low and malicious, glare fixed on his arrogant sister. she thought herself so oooo special, didn't she? he was normally one that was easy to push around, yet Atshens attack still stung. in many ways, the boy was decidedly mature and removed, yet he was still a child. noiselessly, he leapt at his sister, angry at her and his concern at something his sister found funny. his expression was angry, tiny teeth searching for a grip on her fur, eyes glinting shards of ice. RE: You ain't seen nothing yet - Nocturnal - October 27, 2016 Of course she was special - did he not see her spots? She had been kissed by the stars themselves, and what did he have besides a terrible pathetic way of showing dominance? She smirked at him, looking him dead in the eyes, almost awaiting an attack of some sort. Her words had meant something cruel, and her face was showing just what a bitch was under that layer of cute.
As he jumped at him, she tumbled backwards, sending them a little downhill as a ball of limbs and poofy fur. Astrid was still chuckling, even as he grabbed her fur but not her actual skin. She hoped the tumble would make her come out on top, and physics were in her favor. She was smaller and lighter than him, but their puppy-strength was equal. She tried to grab at him too now, already predicting her the winner of this fight.
RE: You ain't seen nothing yet - Abraxas - October 27, 2016 Suddenly she was atop him, yet he was growing quickly, and was far from petite. he writhed, determined not to lose this fight, not again. he slipped out from under her, immidiatley snapping at her side, unsure of where to target this early on his life, yet he hoped his tiny fangs should be effective. he lurched toward her, hoping to push her over and pin her beneath him as she had him moments ago. RE: You ain't seen nothing yet - Nocturnal - October 27, 2016 The tables turned in her favor as she was atop her brother now, and she tried to pin him down with both forelimbs and hindlimbs. She was not losing - The star child did no such thing, and never would she lose from one of her siblings. She was the spotlight - probably the only reason why the other three pups had been kept, for when Nemesis and Kove had laid eyes upon her; they could only think "well, if she's so great, the rest probably wil not be so bad.".
Still, he slipped his way out from under her, and Astrid let out a growl that was followed by more chuckling. She was just quick enough to position herself differently before he snapped at her, and it only plucked out a bit of fur. It hurt nonetheless, and her coat was the only thing she was proud of. She lunched herself at him at the same time as he did the same, and their big puppy heads "bonked" against each other quite hard. Perhaps this was enough to make them both stop because of a bad headache.
RE: You ain't seen nothing yet - Abraxas - October 30, 2016 bonk. he scowled and flinched back as pain suddenly blossomed against his forehead. he was angry. yet not at only his sister, but himself. how did his mother fight with such a fury, and how did she always get the others to go dead? why could he not fight, and win, with the same strength and grace that his mother had? the thought annoyed him, and with body and pride wounded, he shot a final glare at his sister before sulking off, away to nurse his headache and wounded pride in another, dark part of the wood. this encounter may prove to only fuel his independant, lonely nature, bolster his introverted self. by any means, he had no desire to have anything to do with his siblings again today. he was far better of on his own, he decided then. and so, he was quick to slip away, acknowledging his defeat, yet again, by his sister. RE: You ain't seen nothing yet - Nocturnal - November 01, 2016 Astrid liked to believe she was perfect and all would come her way and did therefore not worry about a fighting style. She did whatever worked, whether gracefully or cruel. However, the sudden head bonking had not been part of her brilliant plan - yet it was effective. She shook her head with a tiny growl, trying to shake away the dizziness with force, but somehow it only made it worse. She had landed on the ground but soon rose to her tiny feet, snickering as Abraxas finally went away. Fine, if he did not want her protection, so be it. It wasn't like she liked him anyway - she mostly did it for mother.
With muzzle and fluffy tail raised, she turned and padded away. Perhaps that annoying wolf that was always asking for her attention would have some praise for her today. Her head still hurt, but she did not dare let it show as she sought out Damien.
