it's not even my kid! - RIP Emélie - November 01, 2016

Emma had been working hard to get as far away from the territory as possible, that's for certain. Where they were now, however, was up for debate. Taking a moment to sniff the air for any pointers, Emèlie dropped the kid down beside her and looked around.
Well if they wanted to get to the coast then they'd have to take this path, but there would probably be someone else already there, and Emma didn't really want to fi...

The entire trip, Witch either dozed fitfully or cried - she was convinced she was being carried to her death. Technically, she was right.... But she didn't know that.

When her mothers killer put down the pup, Witch went into fight or flight. The moment all four of the little flowers paws hit the ground, she was spinning around and glaring at Emelie defiantly. What she planned to do now, well, she hadn't gotten that far. But her fear had subsided enough to make her bold, and she lashed out with a commanding tone.

                   "NO."

What the hell... Emèlie looked down confused, trying to figure out who the runt thought they were talking to. Excuse me? she asked, leaning down so that they were at eye level with each other. A low rumble crept from her maw in a hearty laugh. Her teeth were exposed as her tail was lifted dominantly above her back. Maybe now would be a good time to get rid of the extra cargo.

Well, shit. That wasn't the reaction she'd been expecting.

The last time she'd yelled at someone, they'd ran off - then again, she'd also snapped her jaws at Keoni.

So now, that seemed like a good response. While it hadn't been with her sister, if most definatley was now.

Emma got in Witch's face and growled, even laughing - Witch's own tail curled over her back, spiky pelt fluffing up even more so.

                     "No."

This time, her denial was softer, but no more confident as she corrected her captor - this would not happen. Before the murderer lashed out again, the little flower snapped her jaws as hard as she could on the older females nose. Unlike with Keoni, Witchhazel aimed to hurt, to draw blood.... To create a distraction so she could run, or even better to drive away the danger.

Emma jumped back at the clamping of the tiny jaws around her nose. Fuck kid! For a moment, she was turned away from the child, growling and whimpering over the embarrassment of the runt's success. All rules and personal morals aside, Emma was ready to take care of her issue right then and there.

Yes! This time, her actions got a more expected and better responce - Emma turned her face away to evaluate her nose, yelling and whining and growling, but Witch didn't care.

She was gone.

Her long legs carried her fast, with few stumbles, driven steady and true by the fear of ending up like her mother. Of no longer existing. Witchhazel didn't look back, barely looked forward, and had no real idea of where she was going. Heck, the little flower didn't know where they were! But forward, away from the dark woman, that was the way she needed to go to be safe.
