to come out on the other side of fire; - Antumbra - November 04, 2016 In the little field area between the river and the moraine. Hoping to catch a wild!@Hiram. :)
There was an itch in her feet that morning that had her leaving before Wildfire was up. The stress the young girl has been putting herself through easily rubs off on Thuringwethil and as much as she tries to hide it, she knows she can’t. However, wanting to be strong for the other and to be a rock, solid enough for her to lean on when she needed her to and not faltering in the process, she knew she needed time to clear her head. It isn’t unusual for Thuringwethil to be gone early or first so she does not worry that she will be missed and lets her legs lead her through an open field on the other side of the Qeya river. She looks in the direction of the grotto, though she can’t see it, and wonders how they’ve faired now that the famine is long over and winter is around the corner. They have all the land to the west of them, leading to the ocean, but they run the rest should they cross in their neighborhood. As much as she desired to rid the lands of the pests entirely, she’s kept herself and despite her urges, has managed to keep a little peace for her wolves. It is enough, for the moment, to get her mind off the concerns of her mate and who may sire them, and a chance to focus on the things she needed to do as Heda. RE: to come out on the other side of fire; - Reek - November 07, 2016 Mind if we set this before the inquisition comes to Larksong Grotto?
Jhala had asked for a cleansing when the boys had been born. Despite the time that had passed between then and now, Hiram had not forgotten the promise he had made to his wife. The ritual needed to be prepared. Things needed to be gathered. Now that the boys were getting older, Hiram found the time to set the cleansing into motion. Having left the boys in the care of their mother, Hiram sought the herbs he needed to lay in offering to the Daystar. There was a place Hiram knew he could go to get what he needed. From his time in the maplewood, Hiram knew the eastern half of the taiga well. A part of him worried that he was venturing too close to the dragon pack, yet the Cardinal came with peaceful intention, therefore the protection of Rass was upon him. When Hiram perceptively scanned his surroundings, he found his worries confirmed. There she was, Heda -- a dot on the horizon. Hiram stopped his eastern trek and he fixed his gaze on the woman who had mauled his wolves and had threatened his family. RE: to come out on the other side of fire; - Antumbra - November 13, 2016 Temporarily lost in her thoughts, Thuringwethil shifts her weight and takes a few more steps. They are mostly aimless but when a figure pops up over a hill, they cease. Everything stiffens and her head squared, focusing on the silhouette until she's able to decipher who's gotten this close. As Reek's features begun to define, she scoffs and snorts from the back of her throat. She even takes a few more steps forward in an attempt to draw him in while a sneer plays across her muzzle. It has been some time since she'd seen him, or any grotto wolf, and no matter what changes happen over the months, she always be able to see through him. Perhaps he will not see her without council, or back up, for she fears nothing from the scrawny male. One brow quirks upward and both ears cup ahead as she waits. |
